Fascinating look at Newhouse media empire - as insidious as Murdoch’s. Maybe more dangerous because not a household name. We can thank them for legitimizing Trump in the first damn place.

Reading this journey piece about an impresario of a media executive has been a fascinating tale of the outsized power SI developed from his ruthless ways of operating a media company. Although his shy personality is unorthodox for a personality with the bildungsroman arc of a media mogul he had, his way of operating is nonetheless fascinating to learn about.
