The second book in the series contains 143 additional quatrains written and deciphered by Nostradamus himself. Dolores Cannon has pierced the veil of the space/time continuum by her use of regressive hypnosis, to bring us warnings of events to come. Nostradamus emphasized that humanity could change the future if they knew which of the multiple time-lines they were traveling on, and what the results of the path were. Humanity is not powerless. Through the power of informed minds much of the horror seen by Nostradamus can be averted. These new revised editions of the Conversations with Nostradamus trilogy contain updates of events that have already occurred since the original printing in 1989. Will the others also occur? Fasten your seatbelts, you're in for a mind blowing ride with this one! You're about to take a flight into a place where time doesn't exist. Where the famous quatrains are decoded by no-other than The man Nostradamus himself. These two volumes are an exciting journey into the realms of timeless and metaphysical adventure. Dolores Cannon (1931 - 2014) was a self described "past-life regressionist" and hypnotherapist who specialized in the "recovery and cataloging" of "Lost Knowledge". Her roots in hypnosis went back to the 1960s, and she was specializing in past-life therapy since 1979.
Dolores became, perhaps, the world's most unlikely expert on the prophecies of Nostradamus. A retired Navy wife from Huntsville, AR, USA, Dolores was nearly fifty years old when she began experimenting with hypnosis and past-life regression. The results were, to say the least, quite spectacular!
Working through several different subjects, Dolores was able to establish communication with the living Michel De Notredame, better known as the prophet Nostradamus. His revelations and their impact on our own time are both fascinating and at times frightening.
Dolores has written the three volume set "Conversations With Nostradamus", the series on the translation of Nostradamus' quatrains. This series contains the translation of almost 1000 prophecies, all interpreted for the first time and have been in print since 1989. It is considered the most accurate interpretation of the prophecies ever printed.
Dolores has been a UFO investigator for twenty years, using her skills as a regressionist to help people that had been involved in abduction cases. She has written several books on the UFO information volunteers have revealed while under hypnosis.
Her unique technique of hypnosis is being taught all over the world via the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy.
Dolores has written 17 books about her research in hypnosis and UFO cases. Her books are translated into over 20 languages. She founded her own publishing company, Ozark Mountain Publishing, in 1992.
Dolores has toured in the USA, England, Europe, the former Soviet bloc countries, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia to promote her works, and to discuss her particular brand of psychic research. She has spoken to radio and television audiences worldwide. She has given lectures at such locations as: Whole Life Expos in Los Angeles, New York and San Diego; Global Science Congress; various A.R.E. Edgar Cayce Foundations; Conscious Living Expo and MBS Expo in Australia; The College of Psychic Studies in London, England; The Theosophical Society in London, England; as well as many other organizations. Dolores was the first American and the first foreigner to receive the "Orpheus Award" in Bulgaria, for the highest advancement in the research of psychic phenomena.
Articles by/about Dolores have appeared in several magazines including: "Body, Mind and Spirit"; "Magical Blend"; "Connecting Link"; "Kindred Spirit" (an England magazine); "People Magazine" (an Australian magazine); "Conscious Living Magazine" (an Australian magazine); "After Dark" (the Art Bell magazine); "The Unknown Magazine"; "The Washington Post"; and "New York Times". Also magazines and newspapers in Russia, Spain, South America, Bulgaria, Japan and Arab countries.
Dolores appeared on various TV specials including "A Current Affair" (in Australia); BBC Documentary Series "Divine Magic"; "Ancient Mysteries of the World" (a two hour special on CBS); "Ancient Prophecies I and Ancient Prophecies II" (two hour specials on NBC); "Encounters" ( a one hour special on FOX network); "Good Day LA" (in California); "Mysteries, Magic and Miracles" (the Sci-Fi Channel); "Marilu Talk Show" (ABC); "Biography" (series on A&E Channel); "America After Hours" (CNBC); "CNN International Entertainment News".
She has spoken on over 1000 radio shows including Art Bell’s Dreamland, George Noory’s Coast to Coast, and Shirley MacLaine, plus speaking at innumerable conferences worldwide. In addition she had her own weekly radio show, the Metaphysical Hour, on BBS Radio for nine years.
Just did not like how Dolores was always insisting on how off did the interpreters did not get it right. The or thing is, I am at a loss … did that antichrist guy show up? I feel not, but why was that much emphasis on him the whole time?
Another excellent book by Dolores Cannon about the conversations she had with Nostradamus via hor subjects. It really explains in depth Nostradamus's quatrains and visions. As well as the timeline he envisioned.
everyone how is searching the truth and want to know our near future, need this book, the time where we all in now is explained and there are huge warnings, of what not to do, ore to do. read and share!!
Dolores Cannon is an exciting author whom I've just recently come across. She regresses her clents to past lives and thereby gains access to amazing and invaluable information. In this, the first of three books on her meeting with the famous seer, Cannon regresses a client to a life as a student of Nostradamus, and is then contacted by the man himself, who needs her to write this book in order to provide humanity with explanations about the true meaning of his quatrains. Owing to his persecution by the Inquisition, Nostradamus felt obliged to disguise his messages to the extent that they were extremely difficult to decipher, and, additionally, modern-day interpreters have contributed to misrepresenting their true meaning.
One amazing feature of this communication was that Nostradamus was talking to us directly from his time (16th century) to ours through the centuries - it was not his "dead" spirit communicating to Cannon.
I found this book fascinating, and the first part to be immensely readable. Later when Cannon, Nostradamus, her subject and a young astrologer she finds to aid them, begin to analyze the quatrains, one by one, the going gets a bit heavy, and the book becomes slightly less readable. (I know some French so I was ploughing through them in N's 16th century French, too.)
Nostradamus wishes to warn us of the true meaning of his prophecies, since we are now rapidly approaching an extremely difficult time in history, and he realizes that if we are aware of what may transpire if we do not heed his warnings we will be enabled to take a different path and thus avert the worst scenarios.
He proves to be a bit of a character, who doesn't hold back on expressing his personal views and scolds Cannon for her poor education and lack of knowledge of classical literature.
It turns out that his quatrains generally have multiple meanings, thus referring to at least two historical episodes occurring in different periods, which factor has contributed to the difficulties interpreting his meaning.
Many of N's predictions about present-day events, once explained, can be seen to have been accurate. For example, he predicts the Bush/Gore election in the year 2000, describing it as a "hung jury". (This took place subsequent to the period in the 80's when these conversations with N were taking place.) He discusses the earth changes - earthquakes, volcanoes and extremes of weather that are plaguing us in these present years.
Much of the book is taken up with interpretation of quatrains about the Anti-Christ. N explains that there have been two previous Amti-Christs, Napoleon and Hitler. The present (or future) one is a "black" person from the Middle East who will attempt to take over the entire world, with much success. However, according to N, he should have appeared by now, and I personally certainly can't identify him, but I admit I don't have much knowledge of politics or world affairs. Perhaps Mankind by its development and actions has changed its future and thus avoided, or restricted the power of, this malevolent human being.
N makes some dire predictions for what he terms "the time of troubles" and we know from other sources (the Mayan prophecies) that we will experience extremely difficult times leading up to the culmination of the period at the end of 2012. But other sources again indicate that our fate need not be so extreme since a significant proportion of mankind has undergone the necessary development, and 2012 should instead be regarded as a time of necessary transformation both for mankind and our planet, Gaia.
The book also contains many interesting predictions for the more peaceful periods in subsequent centuries, including the advent of "the great genius" who provides mankind with many beneficial inventions.
This is an immensely interesting and informative work though a bit on the gloomy side, but I would strongly recommend it nevertheless, as long as it is remembered tht N's prophecies do not need to come true, and in fact some of them have not,
The author's grammar, spelling and powers of expression are not all that could be desired, thus I've given the book only 4 stars. But of course it is the information revealed and our enjoyment of the encounter with Nostradamus that are important.
I'm gonna share something in general about Dolores Cannon's books. They're just amazing, might be boring for some, but for people who are interested in knowing another possibilities to topics we don't know because of the lack of evidence and a bunch of assuming theories, it is an interesting educational book to open your mind to a enormous variety of scenarios.
TLDR; Dolores Cannon's books are never a waste of time.
For a long time, I wanted to read these three books because I heard a lot about them. When I finally did it, I was massively disappointed. The book's only goal is to get sold, to hell with the facts, with scholarship, with Nostradamus. A lot of interesting quatrains are pulled out of the Prophecies and violently shoved in the 80-ies. Avoid. The last good book that provided some new info about Nostradamus, his prophecies, and good quality was The Epistle Code: Nostradamus' Prophetic Blueprint
I have not read the first but this book has all my interest. It tells a series of events in which Nostradamus predicts in the future of mankind. Nostradamus tells about his horoscope on dates and a time periods events that will have permanent effects to the world. I highly recommend this book to those who seek to understand some of worlds most talked about prophecies. Because this book goes into prophecies based on possible events, I got attached. I also love how it really is a conversation and the answers make it so vivid as if Nostradamus lived through it. The book is filled with questions even you'll have had pondered of.
Most of the quatrains were uninteresting to me, but i do appreciate the amount of effort dolores put in with her subjects. I liked the idea of walking through some kind of tapestry to get into Nostradamus quarters. Somehow, it was all not quite believable, *hum*. but, especially the non-quatrain stuff was quite entertaining. I ws curious if any of the predictions would have become true by now, but only some maybe coincidental small things could be interpreted as such. Bigger things, like the Antichrist, do not seem to have happened.
I almost finish reading this book; it gives a wonderful insight in a lots of unexplained myths in the concept of mind, time and space. Also, resolved many nowadays myths regarding prophecy.
