Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through.
My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers.

Great story but short

My 8 year old anf 11 year old liked this book. They found it to be quite suspenseful and overall simple story in comparison to Harry Potter. My 8 year who doesn't like to read much was captivated by the story and the author kept it interesting. The only thing is that my older one who reads a lot found the book to be too short. Overall a good read and we already bought her book 2 and 3.

This is a fun book. Charlotte (who is only 11) finds out she's a witch and her mother gets her into Miss Moffat's Academy for Refined Young Witches which I think is a pretty cool title. Molly is the Head Prefect. Charlotte shares a room with three other girls, one of which is quite stuck up.

The dining room experience is quite different and quite humorous. As in any such school, the students studying the use of a broomstick, spells and, in addition, physical fitness. They are also not allowed to use black magic.

As expected, there is an enemy for Charlotte and that's Margaret who decides she wants to get materials from an area of the school library that is totally forbidden to anyone but senior year students. This leads to major problems for Charlotte.

I consider the book a lot of fun and will be getting the other books in the series.

My 8 year old daughter, has just finished reading this. She absolutely loved it and read it within a couple of days. It had her hooked all the way through, everytime I seemed to look at her she had the kindle in her hands reading. She was excited to tell me what the characters were doing, how the story was unfolding and what she thinks might happen next.
I have just downloaded the second book on to my kindle for her.

Would definitely recommend this to people with little girls. Not sure about boys, as my son hasn't read it.

This book is great..... IF YOUR 6,7, OR 8. These people need to stop thinking that 9-12 year old would enjoy this . this book is supposed to be about four 11 y old witches who go to witch school. The language is sooo elementary and dumb, and the pictures inside are of 7 y olds. Its too obvious, any body who thinks that these pictures are of 11 y olds is dumb. Beware buyer because I'm 11 and telling the truth.

I am very impressed with this series; it's very well-written and imaginative in both languages. I and my language exchange partner are reading both the German and English editions of this Book simultaneously. I am so happy to see that with this series i can add the book to my feed in both languages and not just one

Excellent

I am a grandma who enjoys reading and I truly enjoyed reading the first book in this series. Reminds me a little of Harry Potter which I still love reading. Recommending it to my granddaughters 😍.

A nice easy read book, I like to find nice books to read that are not over powering in detail of words, I really enjoyed the first books of witch school, it was easy reading but really enjoyable... You realize how hard it to meet friends in a new school but there is always one that thinks they are better then others .. I liked how the characters are described and have there own personality... I 'll enjoy reading the rest of the books
