I am mad about books! It all started when my sixth grade teacher Ms. Schwartz read Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls to our class, I looked forward to the time after recess when she would read a chapter or two to us. I've been hooked on books ever since. One day I stumbled upon Goodreads and discovered a world of crazy book junkies just like myself! Since then I've become a blogger, beta reader and promoter of romance fiction. I also found the courage and support I needed to try my hand at becoming an independent author. I can't wait to grow as a writer and share the characters who have been inhabiting my brain for years!

ARC provided in exchange of an honest review.

Ruling: 3.8 stars

I'll be honest and say that I don't typically read post novel novellas. A good story will continue in my head and there I get to pick the absolute ending. I like for my mind to wonder a little. But this novella is an extension of characters that I found myself attached to. Yes, it was an ARC, but the continuation of their story mimics a real life relationship. The author has a candid ability to make you feel the good, bad and ugly, regardless if you want to or not. I tried to simply be a reader of an emotional story, instead I felt as though I was living it. This marriage doesn't work because the couple wants it to, it only works when and if they put their heart and soul into it, and even then it's a gamble. Can couples, in their weakest moment, stay loyal? Can a cheating spouse become faithful?

Not a massive Alex fan, he lied about a big thing for a long time and perved on his ex at one point, after just getting his wife back, but they are just friend? As if, the whole she was a great person thing was ridiculous too, she slagged his wife off a lot and he still hung out with her? Yeah no

I was gifted this book for an honest review. It's best to read True (The Story of Us, #1) first; as it is a continuation of that story. Forever True (The Story of Us, #1.5) details the next chapter of Alex and Courtney's lives.
STEAMY scenes add to this story of learning from mistakes and leaving the past behind. As Alex and Courtney give their marriage a second chance; will new doubt and previous failure make them stronger or destroy them? What will Courtney do when she finds out that Alex has kept a secret from her for THREE long years?!
If you've read the first book in this series, grab this novella....NOW!!! It's a quick read that will bring you up to speed on Alex and Courtney!! You won't be disappointed!!

This novella was included in book 1 as bonus material and I found True (book 1) on KU.

Forever True made Court & Alex's story perfect in my eyes. It was the icing on the cake and I loved it so completely. I think it should have just been part of book 1 instead of it being considered a separate book. It gives readers Alex's PoV, which I think I really needed considering the mistakes he made in their relationship. The epilogue comes at the end of this one and it solidified their HEA even more for me. Gah! The novella and the epilogue are exactly what I needed!

The author has a music playlist for both books on Spotify and they're amazing <3

Forever True is the perfect ending to Alex and Courtney's story. I was hesitant to read Forever True at first because I loved Alex and Courtney so much, I was afraid to see them go through anything else. BUT after reading it, I realized there was nothing to worry about.

Alex has come a long way and I loved his thoughts and how he still crushes on his wife!
Forever True was perfect, I couldn't out it down.

Can't wait for more from Gwendolyn Grace! ; )

I received an early copy of this. I was very excited to see how things were going. I love the realness of the writing. The thought process of the characters are very relatable. I love "the old me vs. the new me". One of my favorite parts o the whole book was close to the end at the event. "Fighting for us". LOVE IT!!!! Perfect follow up. Keep them coming. I'll keep reading them.

First let me say that I just discovered this author and she is very talented and weaves a good story. If you haven’t read the first story you need to get it right now it’s free on Amazon and Smashwords. Forever True is basically a long-ish epilogue and continuation of Alex and Court’s story.
I will admit when I first read True I was hesitant stories about infidelity can go either way. But the author doesn't place blame or tries to make one person the victim she tells this story as two married people with kids going through the day to day livings but along the way there is a shift. True is about the shift that happens. And what a story it is. I found myself questioning what would I do or how would I feel. That's what good stories do they leave you with these thoughts of what if. Forever True is a story I think needed to be told. After reading the first story I thought there was more to these characters. I know often times when author's write a continuation some of the originality is lost but with this story it is not so. As to not give much a way fans do get their HEA.
This is a story of second chances. Alex & Court have reconciled and gotten re-married. Even though this is a second chance story it is not without its issues and strife. Every relationship has its up and downs but what do you do when you keep taking the hits when you are trying to stay together? Do you call it quits or try to work through it because you love the other person?
We get to see this couple back together and work through their issues from the first book. Let’s face when you truly love someone no matter what the heart wants what it wants. Court & Alex have their fair share of problems but like without every couple communication is key. Can this couple stay together despite Alex’s secret?
Although this story is a reconciliation story it wasn’t without its passion. The author knows how to write a love scene and keep the readers engaged. The characters were well developed and the story flowed together nicely. I look forward to reading more from this author. If you haven’t read the first book go get it now and please leave a review.

I was so excited when I found out that Gwendolyn Grace was writing Forever True, an extension of the first book True. I don't think I have ever read a story that literally had me "feeling" every emotion that Alex and Courtney felt. From the first couple of pages, I could sense the story was building and I had this nervous energy as I read through each page. The storyline kept building and I knew something intense was going to happen. Both Alex and Courtney are about as real as any character can get and the author has done a fabulous job building their characteristics.

I could feel all of the emotion they shared with each other as they both worked to rebuild the love and trust between one another. They were genuine and you knew Alex and Courtney were sorry for their previous mistakes--they were sincere about making their marriage work for the second time and they both did it with class even when there was doubt. It is so difficult giving a spouse a second chance but when both are completely committed to forgiving and moving on, you're left with one heck of a romance story.

Gwendolyn Grace should be commended for this powerful story. I look forward to reading many more from this up and coming author.

An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.

Another remarkable and realistic account of Court and Alex's life together. Personally, I spent 3.5 years separated from my partner before we reconciled and finally married. From that experience I can assure you the fears, insecurities and such never just disappear because a decision has been made to forgive. And the author showed exactly that. Things only work if you work at it.

The story flowed wonderfully, creating vivid images in my mind which left me feeling very much a part of the story. I love to experience the depth of emotion in a book and I wasn't disappointed. Each scene added insight to their journey, showcased their human side allowing emotions to creep in yet focused on their self healing, and personal growth which helped to navigate them successfully through each situation.

It wasn't all about the heart felt emotion though, there was still lots of passion, desire and hot sexual situations.

Forever True is a pleasant addition to the series, and I definitely look forward to reading more from Gwendolyn Grace.

~~~~~Kims Review!~~~~~
I received an ARC of this Novella for an honest review.
'Forever True' is a follow up Novella to the first book 'True'. You really need to have read 'True' before starting on this one.
I loved this novella! After reading True I was still wanting more from Alex and Courtney! This story shows you how things worked out for the couple after they returned from Vegas, where they got married again!
There's some excellent romance and steamy love scenes. Courtney and Alex wouldn't be complete without a little bit of drama added into the mix! Just when you think it's all rainbows an unicorns BAM! That's all I'm going to say about that!! Let's just say I was about ready to hit Alex with his own shoe once again!!
This definitely helped my craving for more of the couples story, and answered the nagging question that was in the back of my mind ever since I'd finished reading book one-
'do they actually stay together forever now?'
I Loved it and I'm so glad Gwendolyn Grace decided to add this novella, it was just what I needed!! Now to wait for book two!!! Exciting!!
**I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.**
This is a continuation into the lives of Courtney and Alex from Book 1 in the Story of Us Series. This follows Courtney and Alex after their reconciliation at the end of book one. I really enjoyed it...like a lot. It was nice to see their friendship and marriage being rebuilt and made into something beautiful again. Of course it wouldn't be a good romance without a little bit of conflict and drama and boy did the author deliver with it. What I loved the most was that it wasn't over done or just plain ridiculous drama and that it played right into he storyline of book one.
I am definitely a big fan of Courtney and Alex's story and will definitely be on the look out for more from Gwendolyn Grace. She is an up and coming author and her books are must reads. She handles delicate subjects and writes them in a way that you understand and can possibly relate with. She did an amazing job with these two characters and I am eager to see what is to come with Kimmie and Justin.
My rating: 3 stars.
What I liked: I liked Courtney(h) and how she didn’t keep anything from Alex(H) and wanted their marriages work.
What I didn’t like: I felt like Alex got off to easily. If the rolls were reversed he would have been livid. I also thought the confrontation with Courtney and Erica was dull/lacking (the chick didn’t deserve Courtney being cordial, especially after calling her lame).
How hot was it: 3 out 5
Triggers: The H has been keeping a secret from his wife about him hiring his ex and that he has been working with her for 3 years. He would also have group dinners with her while away at conferences for work.
Final thoughts: This was an ok read for me. I think if I had read the first one maybe I could understand what they dealt with before and why they acted the way they did. I still think she should have made him work for her forgiveness :/
After reading True you are left with wanting more. Forever True gives you the continuation of Alex and Courtney. These two work hard for each other. They still have things to work on and problems that need to be solved. What Alex and Courtney have learned in the process is that communication and trust are very important. You will find that Alex and Courtney still have the warm and fuzzy feelings for each other but sometimes those feelings turn into hot and heavy. This is a fabulous follow up to True. Do you want to find that Forever True love and fight for each other? I enjoyed this read and I look forward to more of Gwendolyn Grace's work.
Forever True is the follow up of True. It starts right where True left.
Alex and Court have become one of my favourite couple. This novella gave the perfect closure and happily ever after for them as they have gone through so much. Their relationship and trust is tested and how their love for each other is so strong that they overcome all the difficulties.
I am so happy that i got to read True and Forever True. I am so excited to read Time which is Justin and Kimmie's story. They too deserve their happily ever after.
This was a nice follow up to for Alex and Courtney's story so we can see what was next for them. They still had some work to do but they did it as a couple and that is all that matters. There were times that I wanted to shake Alex so he can realize that their marriage got that way because of them and it all was not her fault. What has me super curious is the next book about Justin and Kimmie can't wait to see how they met.
So is Court and Alex's love TRUE???
In this novella we come back for the follow up on what happens next with Alex and Courtney! And you guessed it their love is TRUE!!! Thanks F for that because I so wanted them both to get their HEA's.
Don't worry fans of drama, they find hurdles along the way and have to learn to really trust one another again.
I'm not going to say anymore because I want you all to read it!!!
Thanks again Gwendolyn Grace for another beautiful read xxx
This novella is a continuation of Courtney and Alex’s story, and it’s already included as bonus material in the first book, True. It is also told in the alternating POVs of Courtney and Alex, and I think that it was great that we were able to know Alex's thoughts and feelings this time around.
I liked this one a lot. It perfectly wrapped up Courtney and Alex’s story and reading it gave me the reassurance that they are now in a much better place and are very much in love with each other. There was some drama on Alex’s side that put their relationship to the test, but I’m glad that they were able to work things out better this time. This novella was also sexier than the first book with the very hot and steamy love scenes, and it also made me swoon a lot with the romantic moments between this couple.
Overall, this was a very good follow-up story that completes Alex and Courtney’s journey. I am once again impressed at how well-written and realistic these characters and their situations are. Gwendolyn Grace did a great job writing their story, and I definitely recommend reading True and then this novella.
