“A Collection of Writings…Inspired by God,” will be a series of five devotional books that will be published, over a period of time. The words in each book became words of hope to the author, as she faced insurmountable moments of pain and heartache in her life. As Author Diane K Chamberlain has experienced a lifetime of pain and heartache; God has gradually exchanged these difficult moments, with words of hope that could ease the pain and heartache, while giving her a new heart that could be used for God’s service. In this first series, you will read 99 inspiring devotions, with words that truly came from God’s heart to Diane’s heart. Enjoy the book to its completion or use the book to help during a time of need, by choosing a devotion that will apply to your particular circumstance. As you read the devotions in this series, they will take you from a place of despair…to a place, where you can become deeply connected to God, rather than the circumstance. In this life we live; we can become so easily attached to our problems, as they attempt to control our lives, while throwing us in a pit of despair. Diane’s book…”A Collection of Writings…Inspired by God,” will help you to once more see a glimpse of light…a light that will help you to keep pressing on, despite the circumstance. Some of the devotional titles you will be able to choose from, are “Peace…a Refuge of Sustainment, Until the Storm Passes By”…” A Simpler Life + A Humble Life = Contentment” and “Shining Brightly…a Glimpse of Hope from the Cross.” As you read each of these devotions, you will find that they will become a tool in your life, along with the Bible, which will cultivate the heart and allow a new strength and growth to take place, through each trying moment of circumstance. “A Collection of Writings…Inspired by God,” will also open your eyes to new thoughts that will bring hope back into your life, as you lean on God, for His help and guidance. A circumstance can make us feel, as though we are being destroyed, when all along, we have only been wounded. As you read the devotions and apply them to your life, you will begin to see them as words of healing that can mend the wounds, within your heart and spirit, while leading you to another new step that will draw you further way from the problem and closer to God.
I was raised in a small town in Michigan and was born with a congenital problem in both knees. I went through many surgeries, trying to correct the problem but there was never really a cure. Little did I know, that God had "branded" me at birth, for such a moment as this. Many in this world grow up and go to school or college, to get their education, but that's not what God had in store for me. My education for writing, came from twenty-one painful knee surgeries, heartache from sexual abuse, as a child, and the loss of many things in my life, including the loss of children. As each painful moment came and as each loving desire left, God was taking all the brokenness in my life, and He was piecing it together, so I could have the heart He desired...a heart that could understand and care, for others, who live in despair.
As of this year, I have ministered to many in need, for over 10 years and God continues to open new doors, for me to walk through. Now, I am serving Him full-time, through the Jesus Care Children Ministry, while I continue to reach out to others in need. One thing that God has taught me over the years, is that no matter what we lose or experience in life, He will always be there to pick up the broken pieces and fill the empty voids in our lives. At the most difficult and heartbreaking moments of my life, I have come to see, that God never abandons His own but rather, He exchanges the painful moments, for the true plan He has, for each of our lives. It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane (Author & US Director for Jesus Care Children Ministry)
