President Washington has appointed newly promoted Brigadier General John Clayton as special military advisor to the President of the United States. Brigadier General Clayton’s orders were to stop the Army of the Potomac from marching on the nation’s capital.
With the Joint Chief’s in an uproar over the President’s appointment, BG Clayton must marshal what US Forces he can to defeat General Magnus’ Army. He’s being attacked from within the government and from the outside, it’s only his determination and drive that saves what’s left of the union.
I actually do enjoy the plot lines; but I think these books would be much better if a professional editor would go through and remove all the sentence fragments, repeated words and incorrect words (I'm assuming the auto completion function is on and that software is not always selecting the correct word). Also, the aircraft destinations keep changing - I assume he bombers were B-17s, not B-52s as was once stated. Finally, the author should really look at a map and correct all the geographic errors when discussing who went east and who went west. Finally, it is Frederick, MD, not Fredericks.
