Delaney

Sean is strong, capable, sexy...and totally unavailable. Well, his loss.

I am so done trying to fix broken men. I mean, what has it gotten me? I’m lonely, I have a scary stalker ex-boyfriend, and now I’ve been attacked on the way to my car. I’m just another girl who can blame too much on an absentee father.

Well, screw that. I’m done feeling weak and vulnerable. I’m Delaney Doherty, CEO and strong, independent woman. Damned if I’m going to let some man make me feel pathetic again.

That’s why I’m at this gym learning how to fight – how to take care of myself. And the super hot guy who’s been teaching me…well, he’s just a perk. An extremely well-built, deliciously freckled and red-headed perk. And who knew self-defense training could be so…intimate?

Too bad he’s also kind of a jerk. He doesn’t want to be friends, doesn’t even want to be thanked for his efforts.

Yeah, it’s a good thing I don’t feel any desire to fix him, to clear away the dark cloud hanging over his gorgeous head…because, I know from experience, it would not end well for me.

Sean

Delaney is beautiful. Smart. Determined. And completely off-limits.

The beautiful blond catches my eye the second she walks into my gym and almost breaks her hand on the punching bag. Thank you for yoga pants and transparent workout tees…

Anyway, she clearly needs my help, but that’s all I’ll let myself give her. See, I don’t like commitment. Hell, I can’t even commit to couch ownership. And girls like her? They always want more. They deserve more, too.

And me…well, I have a lot of secrets. I also have a lot of what you might call unsavory associations – like the Irish mafia.

Like her father.

So yeah, there are a lot of reasons to keep my paws off her…but she sure is making it hard on me.

Note: SEAN is the third book in The Callahans series. It can be read as a standalone romance but it is highly recommended you read the first books: BRIAN and KILLIAN first. My second box-set is included as a bonus :)

The drama continues and I'm keen to find out who the killer really is .... I liked Sean's book but there's a real thread of unrealistic emotions- so many I love you's and forgiveness for pretty big events ! I guess that's why it's fiction

soap opera about a very troubled Irish mob family still.mourning the death of their mother. one of her son's falls in love with the illegitimate daughter of the mob boss.there is a plan to hurt the head of the family through his loved ones and the end if this book provides some inkling as to whom the mastermind is.

Sweet

The title of the collection is only for the first couple of books and then its pure romance. Some quite lovely romances except for the insertions where either not necessary, fitting, descriptive or appropriate of the words cunt, cunnie, etc. The lack of vocabulary options and imagination makes the story less than what it could be. Good reading for a long bus trip.

Good Read

This is another episode in the Callahan series where Sean meets his one and only love, its another interesting book with lots of twists and turns and where the person who is causing all the problems is revealed. Sean also reveals a deep dark secret regarding his mother, lots happening in this book well worth reading.

It's official. I'm done with this series.

There's some really good little twists but in the end I couldn't see past my own prejudices. Then the story hit that pivotal moment in Sean Callahans self revelation. And unfortunately it did not sit right with me.

Perhaps in a month or two I'll revisit it. But for now I'm going to lose myself in something more agreeable.

Two Thumbs Up

OMG did not see that coming. How could you do that? Sean a little darker than the other books, but still an excellent read. He's tormented by a secret he's carried around for six years. Until he meets and falls in loves with Delaney.

The 3rd book in the series. Liked Sean, the secret he is carrying around surprised me. This book dragged towards the end. With one hell of a cliffhanger.

Of the three Callahan books by Glenna Sinclair I've read so far, I've enjoyed "Sean" the most. Sean had the most baggage so far. Tasked by Jack to ensure the safety of his illegitimate daughter Delaney from her ex, Sean quickly finds himself in love with her. She enables him to exorcise his demons while the hunt for the kidnapper and would-be assassin continues, his identity revealed (I KNEW it was him!!!!!)!
