Interesting short

A quick interesting read. A little heartbreaking but also encouraging somehow. Leaves me with some unanswered questions but I kind of like that about it.

I absolutely loved this short story!! Pan, the “demon” who lives under Katherine’s bed, is such a sweet character. He’s not there to scare or harm her, he loves her. She lets him know when it’s safe to come out and tells him about her day. He knows that he can’t make noise for fear that her father will discover him.
My favorite part is when she tells him about the animals she learns about at the zoo. Pan and Katherine sneak out one night so she can show him the animals in person. It’s wonderful to read how the animals react to his presence. When they are discovered, he barely gets out with his life. It is only when he is in Nature that you realize who he is.
Great story line, I can’t wait for my 7-year-old daughter to be able to read it. The writing is on point and I couldn’t have asked for better. Mind you, this short story is only 17 pages, but it definitely leaves you wanting to message the author to ask for more!!

A very short story, Demon Rising, is quick and intriguing.

The demon isn’t what you’d expect, and that’s part of the charm. I felt bad for him. Anyhow, it’s a good read. Took me about fifteen minutes to get through.
Folks who like short stories and fantasy might like this.

This is a great short story that I enjoyed reading. My only complaint is that I would have liked for it to be a bit longer. Overall, it's an interesting story and I recommend it to anyone to read. I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Enjoyable but needs more

I don't read short stories to often. Seems to me to be the beginning of something bigger. I wanted more.
