BLURB: Paxton Hart has used his ability to escape the grasp of the Sanction Police, who want him for the illegal import of the undead.
From a parallel plane.
Unfortunately, Pax has blinked the entire group to an earth more corrupt than his own, where the undead serve the living in illicit sex trade, and cyborg-human hybrids are slowly taking over humanity.
When Deegan and her zombie, Mitchell, become separated from Paxton during a recent blink, they find themselves in a world where soldiers have a form of blinking they call Reflecting.
Reflective Lance Ryan pronounces himself judge and jury as he discovers that Deegan has more than Affinity for the Dead, but the dangerous Atomic ability.
Deegan just wants to find her family and return to their earth before the Reflectives can punish her for an ability she can't help having--and doesn't want.
As the group finds one another, a new reality of fertility and danger rears its head. Do the women stay where they can conceive children who are rare and risk their lives? Or do they return to an earth where certain persecution awaits them, and a lifetime of barrenness?
Should Deegan put Mitchell to rest? Or will he become more than anyone thought possible? Including her.

We’ve waited and begged and she heard our pleas, we wanted more Death. Not real death just more of the Death series.
In Death Blinks, we are jumping a bit forward in time with the kids from the gang we’ve come to love. Now, its Paxton’s turn to get into all kinds of mayhem. When one of those issues comes knocking it comes as the Sanction Police. To escape, Paxton pretty much jumps from the frying pan into the fire by blinking the gang to a parallel university where the odds are definitely against them as they find themselves in a strange world and separated.
Deegan, Paxton sister, has raised a hottie zombie named Mitchel. Deegan and Mitchell just want to find Deegan's family and return home.
Poor Clyde, not only does he have a newer zombie in the crowd, he's experiencing some major wardrobe malfunctions.
You’d think everyone can blink and just go home if they find each other but the more they learn they discover really tough choices are still to come.
Back with a vengeance, Mrs. Blodgett brings the amazing wit, dialogue and attitude that pop her characters to life while fulfilling her fan’s desires to be reunited with old friends; all this is brought with insurmountable odds piling against them and yet they still keep on going with snark and vinegar. Unique and beyond your imaginings, Blodgett once again rocks the pages with Death Blinks.

Like a woman trapped in the dessert without my Kindle, (wait, I mean water, I would never be without my Kindle!) I chugged down another LONG awaited addition to one of my all-time favorite series from Tamara Rose Blodgett. Death Blinks Continues the Death Series with another generation of genetically altered kids as they go on the run, Death style into a parallel dimension that makes Earth look like Disney. Paxton Hart is on the run for illegally importing the Undead, seriously? His sister Deegan has raised her own zombie and the guy is hot, maybe not Clyde hot, (read the series)but he is most definitely a protector to his mistress. Anyway, Deegan and Mitchel get separated from Pax and the family, including Grandpa and the now grown up “Death Kids.” Naturally, there are doubles from Earth, but their powers are different, although their evil intent may just be the same. Destruction...control...power.
Once re-united with the family, one would think all they have to do is blink and go home, right? Not on your life, now everyone is on the run from the group known as the Reflectives, and well, things are just getting more muddled as Caleb has lost his ability over the undead and Clyde begins to rot…gah! Can it get any worse? Oh yes, as this dimension has a few other quirks up its sleeve and every female in their group is now at the dreaded “that time of the month,” meaning they are now fertile. Should they stay and conceive or continue to try to be blinked home. (OR, is this a good time to go on the attack?) Next question, can Pax really get them home or is something off with his power?
Say hello to old friends, get to know new ones better as Tamara Rose Blodgett lights up the pages with her signature style, attitude, and dialogue, Love. The. Dialogue. I was caught in a time warp, filled with fond memories of the Original Death Kids, as Jade, Caleb, Jonesy, Grandpa and more prove that sometimes everyone gets better with age and the more things change, the more they stay the same! This holds true for Ms. Blodgett’s writing, too, because how often can an author keep that same juice flowing, the same well-timed humor and snark going as if no time has gone by since book one.

This has been such a long anticipated addition to the Death series. We get to visit with all of the beloved characters we met in earlier books, plus we meet some new, fun and exciting characters who add dimension and flavor to the series. This one revolves around Pax and Deagan who are the major contributors to the danger of their predicament as they travel to the world of the Reflectives and then back to the one place they never wanted to return, Bot World. This time, the women are met with unexpected side effects.(You'll have to read the book to find out what that side effect is.) It was a constantly changing adventure as certain characters blink everyone from one world dimension to the next, never knowing what will be in store for them as they make their way through each situation. Other characters pick up and lose their powers, and still others gain powers they didn't realized they could. And their final destination is the strangest of all. We also regain a character or two that we've missed and face the danger that comes with the Brad Thompson of Bot World. Once again, Tamara Rose Blodgett takes us places we can only find in her imagination, and I'm glad she's picked me up for the ride. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time. Moments made my heart jump while others made me angry. As will all of these interconnected series, it was one thrill ride after the next. I can't wait to see what happens next.
This has to be one of the best series I have ever read. Action from start to finish in each and every book. Caleb, Jade and their gang of cronies. Then we have Caleb and Jade's children, Deegan and Pax. Zombies. The risen dead. The future and the past. The Graysheets. Partnerships. Pregnancies. Wow. What a ride this series was. Absolutely loved it. I will put this exact same review on each of the books in the series to show just how much I enjoyed it.
I thought following the next generation would be tedious and would elongate the book unnecessarily. Damn, I was wrong. Ms. Blodgett did it so well, I am loving it.
Tamara, I have no words for how much I love you. I feel like Wayne and Garth when they've met Aerosmith, and they start bowing saying, "We're not worthy." Yea, I'm not worthy, Tamara. Seriously, you keep ripping out my heart, yet, I keep coming back!! You'd think a reader would have just given up by now, right? Nah, I've been fortunate enough to have started this series years ago. When Caleb was a teenager. Now he's grown with kids of his own. And it's just as messed up as it was with Caleb. And I really can't help myself with this series. I want to read more about teens and their parents having paranormal abilities, jumping from one parallel universe to the messed up next. I want romance thrown in, I want to feel like all hope is lost, only to have it all restored. I want your dreaded, heart-pounding, jaw dropping cliffhangers, you seem so adamant about. Lol. You deliver, every time. So, thank you.
I love this series! Read every book in it. I can't say who favorite character is because I love them all. Clyde the first raised corpse is so old fashioned but not afraid to show up and beat the bullies into submission. Gramps for being stuff old fart he is but he furiously loves his family. Caleb and gang for all their colossal individuality. Tiff cause she's a tough girl who's not above punching a duck in the nose. This series focuses on Caleb kids and messes they get into. I am going to be anxiously awaiting the next book. So if your into paranormal like necromancer, nulls, empaths, pyros this book is right up your alley. Plus, I love it cause author lets the kids use the language we all used. Lots cuss words and boy do I love that. It's series I didn't know I wanted so desperately to read until I did.
