Quincy just lost the only family she had left. She’s shocked when she discovers that her sister has been keeping something from her, but she does when she needs to do. On that awful night, Quincy meets Daniel. Daniel helps her that night and they have a nice conversation. Daniel and Quincy run into each other a few days later and Daniel asks her out on a date. Quincy and Daniel have a great time together and it’s the start of a friends with benefits relationship.

I liked Quincy and Daniel. Quincy is caring, kind, determined, reliable and loving. She’s hurt and lost at the beginning, but she will not fail. She becomes stronger. Daniel is sporty, talented, generous, caring and strong. Daniel has a big family and he’s very close to them. He’s perfect to help Quincy and he loves helping her. Quincy and Daniel weren’t looking for love, but the chemistry and attraction between the both of them is undeniable.

I went in blind and I’m happy that it did that. I was shocked with the beginning and I loved how Daniel and Quincy met. Juked was sweet and emotional. I mostly struggled with the time line. There were time jumps, but no explanation what happened then and so I missed development of their relationship. I also can’t agree with Daniel’s decision near the end, but he made it right later.

This book is an OK read for me. I thought it has more complex layers of emotional. Instead the story is more straight forward. Not much complexion. The characters develop OK. It can be explored deeper but its not.

I found it weird that professional soccer player just helped a single mother with a baby in Walmart. I mean what is a professional soccer player been doing in Walmart anyway? I suppose he has a personal assistant who can do all the shopping. And the insta lust is a bit unbelievable.

Overall I enjoy this book OK. But nothing is special about this book.

I know contemporary romances aren’t exactly the most accurate representation of reality. Despite being a bit of a romantic cynic, I enjoy reading them because they’re a cute, entertaining way to pass time. Juked was no exception. It was a cute story and a great way to spend a few hours.

Quincy Watson is a hairdresser who’s estranged sister has died in car accident, leaving behind a 2 month old son. Suddenly, Quincy finds herself with sole custody of a baby she didn’t even know existed. Daniel Zavarro is a professional soccer player dedicated to his huge family bustling with his many siblings and their children, however, he relishes his bachelor lifestyle as a “respectful playboy”. Daniel and Quincy have a couple of chance encounters at their local Walmart and delve into a sort of “friends-with-benefits” type relationship.

I can’t bring myself to rate this any higher than two-stars because it felt so fake. Both characters felt very flat, they were quite one-dimensional. The story is told in alternating POVs from Quincy and Daniel. A lot of their characterization comes from how they describe themselves, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I just would have preferred to be shown what kind of characters they were, instead of being told. Interactions between characters felt very scripted and formal (this was not conducive to the context of the dialogue - the setting itself was generally a casual environment). I feel very ”Mean Girl” admitting this: While reading, I spent a good portion of my time either laughing or cringing at the absurdity. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say? Basically, the tone, voices, and conversation didn’t feel real. The narration wasn’t superfluous, sometimes this makes stories feel very raw, in the case of Juked I think it made the story feel clinical. The writing itself was error-free, grammatically correct, and thorough.

With better execution Daniel could’ve been a total book-crush (admitting to the internet that I have the potential to gain emotional attachment to a fictional character is a little daunting)! Daniel was a cool character, for one he likes babies and he knows his shit about babies. Have you ever seen a hot guy with kids? Like I don’t even want kids? But seeing a fine ass man with kids? YOU BETTER GRAB THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. Daniel respects that casual sex requires finesse and that “not everyone can separate emotional intimacy with straight up sex”. He also doesn’t believe in disclosing his sexual proclivities: “I may have no problem with random sex, but I do have a problem giving other people personal details of our time together. To me, that’s disrespecting my partner, and I refuse to do that.” LASTLY, he wants “sex to be pleasurable for both of us and something [he] can really take my time with, not something to be rushed through”. Unfortunately, Daniel had a tendency to be a little corny sometimes, I can let a little corny slide, but when he used the dreaded “but Quincy isn’t most girls”, I gagged.

My issues with Quincy mostly stem from my issues with her best friend Geni. The two of them made some not-so-subtle slut-shaming digs towards a “cleat chaser” (aka a groupie), which always rubs me the wrong way, regardless of context. A huge part of Quincy’s character is that she’s a “new mother”, and her sister has just died, I don’t think we saw much of her character growth, which I found a little disappointing. In one instance, Quincy described the stadium where Daniel’s team plays as being “shaped like the bottom half of a soccer ball”, my reaction was to frown in confusion then face-plant onto my desk.

Quincy and Daniel were awfully quick to jump to refer to each other as their best friends. That was a little weird to me, but it’s kinda minor.

On the logistical side of things, there was this instance:
“Mack Shivel decided to be a dick and taunt a forward from the other team. Finally the ref had enough of his shit, and he ended up with a yellow card. Several times.”

If you get SEVERAL yellow cards you get a red card and get sent off the pitch?! This literally makes no sense. I have also never heard the term “juked” referred in a soccer context, from my understanding it’s more of an American-football thing. But I do realize that this could be a locational slang word. For anyone who cares, this move is called a “deke” in Canada, and in England it’s call it a feint, there may be another UK slang word for it, I can’t keep up with UK mandem.

If you’re in the market for a cute, sports-related romance, this may satiate your needs? I’m still looking for the soccer player book-heartthrob who steals my heart. Please send me recommendations!

I do love me a good sports romance. So when I came across this beauty on my kindle I HAD to start reading it as soon as possible and by god am I glad I did.

Quincy is heartbroken, she lost her dad and was left to bring up her sister. An argument between the two had them not speaking to each other. Fast forward 7 month and Quincy gets a phone call about her only sister being in a car accident. When she arrives at the hospital and gets the news of her sister’s death a baby is thrust upon her, the nephew she never knew about, the nephew she is now responsive for. Will Quincy be able to look after a newborn or will it all be too much for her?

Daniel is a soccer player with a love of women. He likes sleeping with attractive blondes and is very clear he doesn’t do relationships. When he goes to the store for a midnight shop he stumbles upon Quincy crying in the middle of the baby isle. Having grown up surrounded by a big family and lots of nephews and niece’s he steps in to help her out. When a second trip to the store ends up with them meeting again he decides to ask her on a date but with Daniel’s background will he be able to stick around when times get rough or will he cut and run?

I loved every single second of this book but I’ll be dammed if it didn’t make my heart ache. Parts of this story were heartbreaking and left you wondering why the poor girl had to be put through so much pain. Daniel’s back story was terribly sad, I just wanted to hug that poor boy. Quincy and Daniel’s story was intriguing they made you laugh and then cry and you didn’t know what to do with yourself and then there’s baby Chance, what a cute little bundle of joy he was.

This is my first read by M.E. Carter and definitely won’t be my last. Everything in this book was on point, from the storyline to the characters everything had me hooked. I’m just sad I hadn’t read this book before now.

☆ I received an ARC via Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!! ☆

I really enjoyed this story. My first read ever from M. E. Carter and probably not my last!!

I loved the story of Daniel and Quincy. Both are far from perfect and I loved seeing them grow and develop individually and together as a couple.

Daniel is an altogether family man with relationship issues stemmed by the actions of his father and doesn't want to follow in the latter's footsteps. Hence, he shuts away from commiting to just one woman and offering empty promises.

As for Quincy. She is the epitome of a woman with the world on her shoulders and yet she is the true definitions of a strong, young woman and ultimate survivor.
Quincy hasn't lived your typical, conventional life and has had to burden the task of raising her sister and taking care of her sister's baby after her sister passes away. Now with this new curve ball thrown her way, Quincy must once again muster up the courage to take on supporting this new life while trying to piece together what's left of hers...NOT TO MENTION, juggle her new friendship and budding romance with a hot captain of the Houston Mutiny soccer team.

I really ate up this read and was awed by the spirit of Quincy. She was a fighter, and despite highs and lows, she tackled everything that came her way beautifully.

As for Daniel. I understood him and where he was coming from. Your home environment is a faucet that makes up a part of who you are. And when someone from that environment violates your trust and faith in them, it can skew your views of things and people. For Daniel, that someone was his father. However, despite the scars his father left upon him, Daniel is a stand up man that knows right from wrong and will do anything to help out family and anyone out that he cares about.

Daniel and Quincy's relationship was simply beautiful. It was beautiful. And so touching.

All of you debating on whether to pick up this read, please do so!!

Is there anything sexier than a man with a baby? Nope. Well, let's clarify....a good looking guy, maybe with his shirt off with a baby. Pretty darn sexy.

Quincy has done some child raising. For being a single woman who has never had a baby, she has experience with being the mom to a teenager. Quincy's dad died and left her to raise her little sister. Now her little sister has died and she finds hersef in that same spot. Being a mom without any warning or preparation.

My sister is dead, and now I have to raise her baby. A baby I just met.

That is the stuff of nightmares. Or at least some severe anxiety. And Quincy has by the buggy full. The grocery buggy full of diapers, formula and anxiety.

Daniel is a star on the Houston Mutiny Professional Soccer Club. He doesn't do girlfriends. Only one night stands that know where they stand....without a hope of being more. Daniel comes from a big family so he knows baby wipes and nipples. The kind that go on bottles. And the other kind too.

Quincy needs a friend and Daniel craves stability. He needs someone that he can relax with. Not worry about pictures getting leaked on the internet. He finds a quiet strength in Quincy. One that calms him. One that he admires.

I heart Daniel so much. He loves his family. He isn't perfect. He gets scared. He panics. He tries to help those he cares for but he gets as overwhelmed too.

Because I believe her when she says she won't stick with someone whose pattern is to run away. I guess that means I have to make sure I change my pattern.

This one has lots of feels. ME Carter has proven that once again, she an up and coming voice in family romance. Her characters are real grown ups with problems, court dates, insecurities, supportive friends, work problems, and a deep desire for love and family.

I haven't let go....I can pretend it's because I'm being supportive of her and don't want her to think she's alone in all this. But this truth is....I needed to hold onto her as much as she needed to hold onto me.

Juked looks on the surface like a sports theme romance, but don't be fooled. There is much more inside than just cleats and penalty kicks.

I recently made a commitment to myself to start clearing some books off of my TBR. When I find myself with some reading downtime, I flip randomly through my kindle until my finger snags on a book – and that’s how I came to finally pick up Juked after all this time!

And now I have regrets. Because this book was really good. It’s everything I love about sports romance (even beyond the fact that it’s a sports romance which is already one of my very favorite tropes). What took me so long? How did I miss this? Why haven’t I been reading these books this whole time?!

Juked is the perfect blend of emotional and playful, heartfelt and flirty, and it somehow manages to be both simple and complex. There are some emotional punches for sure, and some moments so adorable my heart couldn’t stand the cuteness. It’s sexy and sweet and overall just completely satisfying.

I might have liked a little more from the ending. I felt like the conflict resolution was more simple than Daniel really deserved and so it would have felt gratifying to have a more “happily ever after” than a “happy for now” ending from it. It’s the one small area where things sort of fell a little flat for me. But I still tore through this book, completely on the hook, and completely enamored of Daniel and Quincy’s story.

What a happy surprise! And now I have more of these fantastic books to dive into! I can’t wait to see what this team has in store for me next! ~ Shelly, 4 Stars

Let me begin by saying, I am a soccer fan, when it's the time for the World Cup, I lose my shit the way, everyone lost it at the Superbowl with Janet Jackson's nip-slip.

Now, what stayed with me hours after I had finished the book was how amazing these two characters were.

Quinsy has not had it easy, losing her sister in car accident and suddenly getting custody of her nephew, she didn't know existed was... let's just say rough. Though, she persevered, the night she and Daniel met had me smiling so much, it was sweet and warmed my heart up to both of them.

Even after the scene where Quincy finds out her sister is dead, M.E. Carter had me laughing, seriously 3% into the book, after a tough and emotionally draining scene, she had me smiling!

Then we have Daniel, aaah, sweet, funny and hot as hell Daniel, if only he was real *sigh*
description
When I think of Daniel, I think of every delicious, sexy-as-hell soccer player I know, and hope that they would be this kind, this generous, sweet, and loving as Daniel was. I mean he is a man and like any other man, he has his moments, but they were not so bad that I felt the need to junk-punch him. Yay!

What I loved the most about this book is how the story progressed, it was not a fairy-tale but a kind of love where it was realistic, these two got to know one another, lusted after each other, fell in love with the person they got to know and not a made up idea in their head. And those sexy times, *woooh, child*, it was panty-melting hot. I had to go to my room and open the window to cool myself *ahem*.

Overall, this was a story of two people struggling in their own way, Daniel with his fears and demons and Quincy with life dealing her a crappy hand, it seemed like life kept kicking while she was down. In the end though, the journey of them finding each other and being there for one another and helping each other heal in their ways... that was beautiful.

I really do recommend it if you're in the mood for a good, witty sport-romance with great characters, a great storyline and a baby! Did I mention that the baby is the cutest thing ever? <3

This was a cute, easy going romance. I didn’t really feel a whole lot of chemistry throughout in it. What I did feel was Daniel’s admirable work ethic and friendliness. He was sweet and kind. Not really my kind of guy TBH. I like them a bit more assertive. He didn’t seem to really care enough about Quincy. Or else I didn’t see enough for me to really think he cared. That’s the only thing that really affected the likability of this book.

Quincy was pretty relatable. She was logical and responsible; both qualities I’m a huge fan of. She does show the baby a bunch of love and you get to really see the struggle from inept mother evolve to expert which was one of the best things of this book IMO. Again, not a whole lot with regards to chemistry on her part either so the romance bit was a bit bland for my tastes.

The sports bit was nice. We see his team dynamic and how he interacts with his manager which was a nice added layer to his character.

I’d read another by this author.

M.E. Carter may not be new to the writing world but her words are pretty new to me. While I am a huge sports romance fan, soccer is not something I typically read about or enjoy but.... this author has made me a new fan of the sport. #SoccerGuysDoItHarder

Juked is a light romance full of steam, passion, intensity, and has a couple of twists and turns along the way. This book was so sweet and beautifully written. The storyline flowed right as the pages turned and before I realized it, I had devoured this entire book.

This is Daniel and Quincy's story. Daniel is a good guy. He is a professional soccer player who has all the friends he needs, ladies to warm his bed when he wants some, and a family who is bountiful and always behind him. But one moment chances that all.

Quincy had to grow up before she should have. Shouldering responsibilities and living safe is all she knows. So when tragedy strikes and she is left to raise a child she knew nothing about, Quincy's life completely changes. And finding Daniel, that's the reward.

These two weren't looking for more but more found them. Quincy is struggling to manage and get by. Daniel just wants to get to know the woman who has stolen his thoughts and mind. One friendship. One moment. One decision. One epic love story.

I loved this book to pieces. The pacing was perfect and moved at a believable and relatable speed. Watching Daniel mature, grow and step up to the plate made my heart bleed emotion for him. And Quincy.. one of the most admirable heroines I've ever met.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for possibly a follow-up novella or another novel and maybe exploring some secondary characters we met in this book. While this book does have a happy ending, more in depth exploration of these two would definitely be welcomed.

I recommend this book.

4 stars -- Loved it!  I read this one in a day you guys.  It was just an easy, fun read, but with its share of drama and heartbreak as well.

What's funny is that usually it's characters that put me over the top on a book, and while I enjoyed both characters, individually they weren't what stood out to me in this book.  It was a bunch of other things that mixed together made for a very enjoyable read.

As a lover of sports romance, I thought this one did a pretty good job actually including some sport in the story.  I loved that while Daniel was a sports celebrity, he wasn't some rich guy necessarily.  I know next to nothing about soccer, and honestly find it kind of boring, but I thought it was funny that they didn't shy away from the dramatic acting that happens on the field and is apparently part of the play (with injuries to get penalties).

This book actually made me really happy with its diversity!!  I actually felt like it wasn't just token, you know?  Like I couldn't just imagine Daniel as white and basically nothing would change.  I LOVED his big Mexican family, and I really enjoyed that we got to see their dynamics, and the struggles they all faced after his father's betrayal.  It's really interesting to see how that doesn't just affect young children, but adult/young adult children as well.  I appreciated that they weren't perfect.

I also really appreciated a lot of the frank internal and external observations/conversations Daniel had about sex.  It felt more realistic than so many other playboy heroes.  And not only that, but he acknowledged that there was a difference in being able to separate your emotions from the act, and...I don't know...  It just worked for me.  And I appreciated the conversations that Daniel had with his nephew Nicky, and how he navigated being a role model and giving good advice to a teenage boy.

On Quincy's side of things, I really loved the whole story with baby Chance, and navigating becoming an emergency caregiver.  I really felt for what she was dealing with, and it felt so real...  I hurt for her, I felt her fears and feelings of inadequacy.  I loved the way the custody storyline played out, it took some interesting turns I wasn't expecting.

And I LOVED Quincy and Daniel together, they made me laugh!  They had fantastic chemistry, and I felt their draw to each other.  I also enjoyed their friendship and how it developed (though sometimes it was a tiny bit showy instead of telly).  And I appreciated that the conflict of the story and the climax wasn't a LONG drawn out misunderstanding.  It felt real, again.

I ADORED the way Daniel was with Chance.  I'm not a kid person you guys, and a lot of times I don't think kids/babies are depicted realistically in books (the struggles are glossed over).  I thought the author nailed a lot of this, and I really could imagine so many of those situations.

So those are all the pros.  Unfortunately, it wasn't all sunshine and roses.  I wasn't as excited about them both not wanting to define their relationship.  I understood where Daniel was coming from, but not as much with Quincy.  And my biggest pet peeve was the slut shaming that occurred.  Now, luckily, it was mostly from Quincy's best friend Geni, and less so from Quincy herself, but it still kind of annoyed me.  Now, I realize it's sort of setting up for Tiffany's book and showing how she's viewed by so many, but I just really wanted Quincy to get more mad at Geni (though I suppose the author kind of made Geni look bad for doing it...).  Strangely, there was even a degree of guy-type slut shaming.  I'm not saying I don't find some sexual things people engage in to be...well, not to my taste.  But I felt a bit of judgement from Daniel towards his teammates.  This wasn't a major part of the book, but if slut-shaming is a 100% no-go for you, well, there is a bit...

So there you have it.  I seem to be getting more and more verbose as time goes on.  I always feel like people are going to think books are bad based on my reviews, but I just really like hearing myself talk...and I'm picky.  I note things.  So always look at the star rating...the star rating tells you how much my cons actually play a part in the whole shebang.  And obviously they played very little part here, there was just too much else to love...

Buonasera!

Another fantastic sports romance from M.E. Carter! Juked has it all - it's funny, tender and sexy. Carter's writing is just so readable that her books always fly by. I loved Quincy and Daniel and the progression between them was well-paced and believable. The story is rounded out by some great secondary characters who are flawed and funny. Fans of M.E. Carter will love Juked.

I liked the writing and the plot, but I had trouble really connecting with the characters and their love.

I appreciated that they were mature and everything felt very realistic, but there wasn't enough emotion for me.

I got this book on a sale so please don't judge me.

Juked follows Quincy, a 20 something year old who has lost her sister and now is left to raise her baby nephew that she had no idea existed until she id given temporary custody at the hospital. That night, she ends up crying at Walmart because she has no idea what babies need and in walks Daniel. Daniel is a 20 something year old soccer player who takes pity on her and helps her find formula and they end up running into each other at Walmart a few months later. This starts a friendship and then a relationship that has Daniel doesn't want but does.

Ok, so I am a junkie for sports romances and I love soccer so I thought this book was going to be great. I knew that it was also going to be tragic but I don't shy away from that thinking that it would be like this one book I love. It wasn't. I hated this. Quincy is fine if you can overlook her "why are you going to community college" nonsense. It was so annoying since CC is much more accessible to people and I am not here for this fake eliteness. I found Quincy to be boring and I couldn't relate to her at all. My biggest issue is that Quincy and her best friend, Geni, slut shame the girls that go to soccer games. Sure, they are groupies but why the slut shaming? The soccer team partakes too and yet..silence on that.

Daniel, WOW I hate him. He is all "I know how to treat a lady and I never tell because I am better than my friends". Nahhhh, you suck too. I hate when guys are silent around friends they know are gross af. Daniel has a large family and I really liked them. They had their issues but it was fine. I HATED that Daniel looks down on single moms while knowing the struggles that his own sister went through after her divorce. Talk about hypocrisy. The family is Hispanic so there was the dreaded italicized Spanish that I hate. There was one point that he says "Latin race" and I wanted to scream. Latin is NOT a race!!!!!!!!!!!! I have zero interest in the rest of the series that seems to focus on 2 people introduced in this book.

First book of 2018. I have edited my resolution to reading books from authors I have shied away from for various reasons. ME Carter being one of them.

So, I chose this one. Sports romance also being a bonus. I haven't read a Soccer one since The Player by CC. I forget how much I love sports romances and then every time I pick one up I am a groupie once again. Plus plus points because this one didn't fit the normal sports romance pattern.

I liked the whole dead sister thing. Actually, I liked the whole beginning of the book. Seemed super authentic and I was feeling it all for sure. Then it just turned into meh soup. The whole "scared of commitment" thing doesn't work on me. I loved the heroine's take on it though - “But I won’t be that girl. I won’t be the girl who chases him.” LIke yaaaaas girl yas. She texted him once and he didn't reply and she was all like whatevs his loss. I wish I had that kind of will power when it comes to men.

Anyway, the ending was whatevs. It was a HEA of course but I mean y'all have been together for a year and are just confessing your love for each other. I am that girl who confesses love for a guy after he buys me a burger and supersizes my fries. And the whole baby daddy drama made me want to seize after I hit my limit of eye rolls.

HOWEVER, the second installment in this series sounds wicked. "Every slut has a story" - hells yeah she does and I'ma go write mine next.

Quincy's life is thrown into upheaval with one phone call. Her sister, who she fought with a few months ago and hasnt talked too since, was in an accident. When she gets to the hospital she learns her sister didn't make it. Distraught. She then learns she is next of kin to her nephew. A nephew she knew nothing about. She takes custody and is set to do her best to raise her nephew as best she can.

Daniel, is a professional soccer star, a late night food run leads to running into a crying baby and a distraught mother, who he learns is the aunt, who just got custody of a baby she didnt know about. Daniel is use to the hit it and quit it lifestyle being a pro athlete affords him. Issues and worries stemming from a deceitful father.

These two seem to run into each other. They start as friends, the FWB, then more. Until outside forces force them apart. Soon Quincy will have to get past that and now fight for her nephew, her 'son'. Alone.

I love ME Carter's writing and stories. They flow from page to page, chapter to chapter. Her books touch ranges of emotions and the story lines while usually HEA are alway realistic and real life feeling. Not those fantasy type HEA's.

Huge fan. Recommended to all.

Story was meh. Characters were meh. Best friend Geni was not a great person. There is a difference in standing up for a friend once and using every opportunity to tear another person down just because you can or you don't like someone. Sad that this was the heroine's best friend and she never came out and told her that being a mean girl is not ok.

I enjoyed this a lot. This is very touching and more than a simple sports romance. This is friends to lovers and Daniel was a great friend until he wasn’t. I needed more of a grovel from him. I think Quincy let him off the hook too easily but then in Quincy’s eyes the love of her life is Chance. Read the book to find out who Chance is. Im looking forward to the rest of the series. 4 stars.

Well HELLLOOOO Daniel Zavaro... aren't you just a hottie mchotpants?! I really enjoyed Juked. Such a fun, sports story filled with romance, laughs, and a sprinkle of angst. M.E. Carter did a great job with Daniel and Quincy's story. I'm looking forward to catch up on the rest of the books in this series!

Quincy has baggage, and lots of it. After a tragic accident spins her world on its axis, she finds herself as a single mother, raising a newborn nephew she never knew she had. Between parenthood, her full-time job, and dealing with the suffocating grief of losing her sister, every day is a struggle.

Before they know it-- they’ve been Juked

Review:
What I can say about this book is….I loved it. I did not want it to end. I was actually disappointed when I went to flip the last page and it wouldn't move anymore. I loved Daniel and Quincy together. There is nothing more sexy than seeing man week in the knees for a woman and her baby.

The book opens with a tragedy. My heart broke for Quincy. Enter Daniel they meet late night in Walmart of all places. Quincy is having a meltdown and he just takes over.

Daniel is a hotty Pro Soccer player in Texas. So you have a southern boy that knows he looks good and Quincy that doesn’t really care anything about him. Hell, she doesn't even know who he is, and Daniel likes that. It’s new to him that a woman isn’t throwing herself all over him. He comes from a big family with five other siblings. It was just Quincy and her sister Sarah. After their initial meeting, Quincy and Daniel meet up again and things progress from there. Join these two and see what happens when everything falls into place then out of place.

I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a man holding a baby, changes diapers and toss in he is an athlete, and well you have a great book.
