Kakan, Karin Hermansson, is an artist and tv-personality. The book is about her childhood, her believes and what it means to be a woman. A big part of the book is about how it is to be a feminist and lesbian, standing up for women's rights and her fight against sexism.
I think the book is going in different directions, including everything from her childhood to big problems in the world, but in a way, that is good because Kakan has made feminism one of her most important areas, and therefor, it is interesting to read about her opinions about the subject. She has good arguments, but I would have liked some new analysis. The book is perfect for people that are discovering feminism or need to understand how sexism and homophobia affect people.
