I’m not quite sure how she does this but Stephanie Brother keeps putting really good books out at a pretty fast pace. I’m sure glad that I’m along on that ride with her because she had done it again with another really good read. I have to admit I’m a huge rock romance fan so when I see she was going down that lane again I had to make this one of my next reads. As in true Stephanie Brother form this book had some pretty hot scenes in it but this time I felt the build up to it with the way she took you through the process of a hot, sexy, rocker meeting the almost geeky, shy girl at a club.
Amber had no idea who this guy was who approached outside on the deck of this club but she felt something special with the way he looked at her and touched her hair. Once Aidan realized that this girl had no idea who he was it made Amber even that more intriguing. He never gave it away that he was the lead singer of the Throwbacks so you can imagine her surprise once she gets a good look at the guy on the stage that all the girls are going wild over. About the time she gets her hopes up a bit her roommate, not realizing that Amber just ran into Aidan, mentioned how he has a different girl every night.
Aidan also had another side to him that nobody else but Amber had seen and that was that he was a very intelligent guy who had dreams of becoming his own boss with a design business. Sure he loved performing on stage but everything that went in to making a successful band was not his dream job. Lucky for Aidan that Amber as a very studious person who had problems with her Chemistry class and can you imagine her surprise when it was Aidan standing in the tutoring center waiting for her to be his next student. The guy wasn’t just sex on a stick, he was intelligent also.
Was Aidan willing to give up all of the very willing groupies that would do anything he wanted at any time for some girl who he realized was still a virgin and very inexperienced in the sex department? Could Amber look past all of Aidan’s overzealous groupies and realize that maybe she did have something special that would put her apart from them? This was a really nice rockstar meets plain girl…. feels that there is something there whether he wants it to be or not…and girl not believing that some hot guy like that was truly interested in her for more than a one night stand? Ms. Brother had your heart “feeling” everything these two went through and added a good amount of humor at the right time just to loosen things up again. I can only hope that she can put out more books on rockstars especially if they are anything like Aidan.

Amber, about to fail chemistry major, meets Aidan, rock star/chemistry tutor, and the story slowly chugs along. Sorry! Although I liked Amber and Aidan, I kept waiting for something exciting to happen and it just didn't. Just the usual virgin waiting around for the "playa" rock star to cheat on her. Why bother?

Wonderful read
I wasn't expecting to like Sparked as much as I do . This isn't your typical rockstar story, the level of depth, angst, emotional connection between the heroine and hero truly feels believable . I enjoyed reading this romantic and sexy story. The bonus story was also phenomenal read.

Loved it!
This is, by far, the best Stephanie Brother book I've ever read! The story was great, I loved the characters, and there was no unnecessary drama! My only critique is that there were A LOT of mistakes! Stephanie could really have used an editor. It didn't keep me from really loving this story though! I totally fell in love with Aidan and Amber!

Sparks and misunderstandings

Basic. Way to "insta love" ish for me. Like he's a major player but ALL OF A SUDDEN it's only her? nah dawg. And then he's her CHEM TUTOR? ooookkkkk??? And then she wants to cook him and his dad a nice dinner and makes omelets? Like, I know this story isn't for the plot but it wasn't as steamy as I expected either. Tolerable but I wouldn't recommend.

later that week she's about to meet her chemistry tutor and well her surprise is huge when the same young man steps in. his charm is still there, together with sincere interest in her and also to her surprise his knowledge. isn't there something he isn't good at? he sings, he looks hot, he's smart, he's a tutor.
he can't get her out of his mind, but at the same time he's convinced he can't give her what she needs. she's a relationship girl and that's something he doesn't do.
with sparks all over the place is was wrenching to read how he hurt her thinking he was doing the right thing, in turn hurting them both.
getting his mind in order to see what is right in front of him takes further away before he realizes how much he really cares.

Love this story of Amber & Aidan. From their first meeting there was a spark. But Amber was afraid to let him in to her heart because he was a hot band star with girls always hanging on him. Since gossip claimed he was a player, she had a preconceived idea of the kind of guy he was. For his part, Aidan enjoyed all the attention women gave him but he didn't want, nor have the time to invest in a meaningful relationship. But somehow that spark that flared into life when they bumped into each other one night at the club ended up causing both of them to rethink their assumptions and find the inner courage to reach out and become vulnerable. Enjoyed watching the changes in their inner dialogue on the way to finding their happily ever after. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five stars.

Another great book(s) by Stephanie Brother.
I loved both Sparked and Perfect. Sparked is a college romance and Perfect is a step-brother romance. I enjoyed both books and really appreciated the fact that Perfect was a free bonus book. Free books are great, but they're even better when they're good books you enjoy reading. So this is a shout out for all authors who are generous in giving a free bonus books with a purchase. It's a win-win cause I got a free great read and the author got a customer who will probably automatically buy all her books. I look for more great books by Ms. Brother and I plan to check her Amazon page for her books I have not read. I highly recommend these books as great reads. I also highly recommend this author. This is an honest-to-God really good book! Aidan & Amber's chemistry kinda creeps up on you, and blows you away with its intensity. They are aware that they're not each other's type, yet, they can't ignore the pull between them.
I found it a turn-on that Aidan was smart, as well as sexy. I also liked that he was so patient with Amber, in spite of the emotional entanglements he feared would happen. The epilogue was like frosting on a really tasty cake.
So, I definitely recommend this book, especially to fans of YA & rock romance. You won't regret it!

This is not your typical rockstar romance in my opinion, but I love it! Aiden is the singer in a popular band on the local circuit near his university. Amber is the good girl university student. Amber meets Aiden at a dive bar but has no clue that he's with the band. This rocker is more than meets the eye. He's hot but intelligent. They meet when she needs help with chemistry. I actually quite liked this read. I love how it went straight into the story without it slowly leading up to it and how Aidan was introduced right away as the sexy, bad boy rockstar, unbeknown to Amber.
I thought this one was written quite well and had a great storyline. There were some very hot scenes between Aidan and Amber, no thanks to their instant attraction and connection right from the start.

This book just goes on to prove that Stephanie puts out awesome and really sexy books. I was hooked the moment Aiden approached Amber in the bar. Loved his arrogance and cockiness. The Epilogue just made their journey in this book all the more perfect. Anyone who passes up any opportunity to read this book is crazy!

Got this as an arc for an honest review. And loved Amber & Aidan's story. Aidan is so flirty & naughty. And Amber is the good girl...love her. This was such a different story then what I was expecting. Was a welcome change & the author nailed it!!!
