2.5 Stars. Roman was very cocky which can be ok if there's some growth associated with it. Willow is his attorney. She's hired to distract him from getting into trouble for the simple fact that she is an attractive female -.- I don't really see the chemistry there. Roman's cocky doesn't soften either. He's immature. The love scenes are hot so kudos for that but the plot itself feels rushed and underdeveloped. The incident they mention in the blurb is literally like the last 20 pages or so. There's potential that doesn't feel realized. Safety: No OW/sharing. h goes on a date with OM but nothing happens. No condoms. No rape. Yes to abuse.

I was approached by the author after she read my Baller review to read this as an ARC for an honest review.

So here it goes.

To be honest, the title and the cover are not very appealing for me to grab this book to read. Also, I've never read anything from this author. So you can just imagine my reluctance.
One more thing, I don't normally respond to any authors' request to review their books. Maybe it was full moon when I was asked by Ms Casey? Full moon or not, I've read her book.
The question now is, did I like it?

On to the review.

Talented and highest paid quarterback Roman Knight should have the world at his feet, but his antics on and off the field have made him a true liability.

Background.
He had a nightmare childhood & started playing football as a way to escape from his jerk of a dad. He was the eldest of his 2 brothers. His ma committed suicide.

Current standing.
Because of daddy issues, he was one very intense, arrogant, rude, and really just an all-around jerk.
His short fuse had caused a lot of of problems for him, trouble with the media, and his NFL teams giving up on him, despite his incredibly good skills - he was a perfectionist, after all.

I can understand that some of his outbursts were stemmed from his childhood abused. But to continue with his inexcusable behavior is no longer because of his background. But because he's cocky and half-witted.
And as a result, Willow was hired to distract him from getting in to more trouble that may earn him a permanent residence in a prison cell.
Imagine my annoyance that a lawyer like Willow was assigned to baby sit him. I don't care if this was some sort of punishment because she lost a case out of honesty.
The reason why they met was bordering on stupidity. I would've bought it if Willow was hired to defend him in a courthouse.

But what made me outburst is that she was all smart and full of confidence and yet she acted trashy - she took her role to distract Roman seriously by showing him her boobs and had UNprotected sex with him twice. TWICE!
And the way she answered her superiors were rude and ill-mannered.

The only saving grace for me is Roman's principle why he kept his money donations to domestic abuse charities as a secret.

Oh and lastly, I'm not a big fan of repetitions. I can truly say that I was desensitized with the curse F*ck after reading this. Believe it or not it was used here more than 500 hundred times.

3.5-3.75 Touchdown STARS

This was my first London Casey book and I enjoyed it. Roman is a professional football player, star quarterback no less with lots of self-imposed problems. Let's just say he had justified daddy issues that result in a lot of acting out and anger. And his devil-may-care attitude causes a lot of problems for him with the NFL, the law and media. He's one super intense, all-out-Alpha that sometimes is a little hard to take. But I must say, this woman can appreciate a jerk and I loved him.

Willow is an up and coming attorney whose just lost a major case and her punishment is to take care of Roman. And let's face it, it certainly doesn't hurt that she's a hot, sexy woman. She has her job cut out for her in trying to keep him out of trouble. Willow was funny and real. And together these two were a good match both in and out of bed.

I also enjoyed Roman with his two other bothers. They are different but successful in their own way. And talk about rough love. Their scenes together were funny and heartwarming. These guys all have big hearts but have had a rough childhood, with each of them dealing with it in their own way. This was an intense, at times funny and sexy read.

Roman is the Bad Boy of the NFL. He's only one bar fight away from going to jail and ruining his career forever. That's why his lawyer hires Willow.

She's a lawyer who just screwed up a case - at least as far as her bosses seem to think.
And they 'hire her out' to babysit Roman.
To keep him distracted, keep him out of jail, keep him happy and busy during the off-season. But not to sleep with him.

Easier said than done.
Roman is the hottest guy she's ever seen and he's flirting with her like crazy.

description

But she's here to work, to save both their jobs.

Added to Roman's problems in his professional off-season life, are his family problems. His violent ass of a sperm donor is dying and his brothers need him back home to take care of things. Time to pull up his big boy boxers and face real life.

What will happen with Willow & Roman?

Will there be a HEA?
Will everybody survive this booK??
Or will there be a horrible Cliffy?

description

I'm not telling you that of course ☺

description

No Cliffy of course☺

Great first book in the Knight brothers series!!!

I loved it!
I'm a huge football fan and I was already counting the days-weeks-months until the season begins again.

And now here's Roman. ☺☺☺

description

He's really adorable.
He's still kind of the broken boy who left home to make something of himself.
He never really got over everything that happened with his father.
But he tries. He's showing the world this aggressive, fighting idiot. But he's not really that guy.
He's a good guy underneath all that QB fame.
He donates money for good causes - and doesn't tell anyone. He doesn't do it to be the good guy.
He's not a good guy. At least he thinks he isn't.
Poor Roman.

And poor Willow too. ☺
She's this close to losing her job and Roman is the only way to save it.

I loved those two together....
They have very adorable and romanctic and funny and sexy moments for us.

description

You want them to get it all dealt with and fast forward to their HEA, but of course it takes a while to get there... ☺

Were there some moments that I didn't like?
Hm.... I'm not a fan of too undetailed books. We don't know where we are. I want to be able to picture a city when I read a book. And the timeline. London never mentions days and weeks. We assume it all takes place within days, but then suddenly it must be days or a week or even weeks later because of the way Willow talks about not seeing Roman for so long. Very weird. I need more details of that sort in my books.

Also, Willow drinks lots of wine while she already knows she's pregnant... not really very wise.

And the whole baby thing in the first place? The title of the book already tells us about the baby, but of course the baby thing doesn't happen until very late into the book... I think I would've chosen another title for the book.

And the end... a tiny little bit rushed in my mind.

And the writing...not a huge fan... it's my first London/Karolyn book and I don't know if it was because of the unedited version of the book, but there were some weird things in the writing for me.

BUT STILL....

THE MAN. THE GAME. THE BABY. was a very adorable and sexy footballer-falls-for-his-lawyer romance. Throw in some suspense and a pregnancy - perfect romance! ☺

...and now I can't wait to read about the 2nd Knight brother!! They all have huge stories to tell!!

4 "Who's the man" Stars

 photo 1466036529387_zpsbsozkjhb.jpg

Well it's official. Roman Knight is hands down one of the most arrogant, cocky SOB that I've had the pleasure of reading about and I don't know if I want continue swooning or smack the smugness right off his face. That man tested my patience but one thing was for sure: Love him or hate him, he was Unforgettable.

Roman has it all. A fantastic football career, money, women, money, MORE women, you name it, he's got it. What he doesn't fully has, is the ability to keep himself out of trouble for once. Everywhere he goes, trouble just seems to follow him and it doesn't help that his ego is the size of the "Grand Canyon" making him more cocky. Does he care about getting into trouble and risking his career? Hell no. In his eye's, he's the King of the field and his legal team would take care of everything. Get into a bar fight? Legal team. Destroy paparazzi cameras? Legal team. You get the pattern.

The only thing Willow has ever wanted to do was be a good lawyer. She's worked extremely hard for her job so when she's asked to be the newest legal team member for Roman Knight, her initial reaction was to say no. To be honest I couldn't blame her because who in their right mind would take on Roman Knight as a client and not start drinking! Having no other choice, she agrees to make sure he stays out of trouble for the time being and get his act together. This couldn't possibly be so bad right? WRONG!

With the sexual tension, Roman's troubled past, and their ability to not stay away from each other, Willow and Roman story was very fast paced and enjoyable read. I loved how Roman spoke his mind and even though his arrogance got him trouble most of the time, he never backed down. He was fighter and if he wanted something, he went out there and he got it.

Did I also hate him for that same arrogance sometimes? Absolutely. But he wouldn't have been him if that part wasn't real. There was one issue with one of the characters that had me spitting mad.Roman did the best thing possible in the begining and I admired him so much for that but then at the end, I wanted him to just walk away from that person because he really wasn't obligated.Aside from that, if you love hot bad boy football players, then this book is definetly for you.

I have read several of London Casey's books and when the opportunity came to get an ARC of The Man. The Game, The Baby. in exchange for an honest review, I was thrilled. This is the first book in the Knight Brothers series and I'm looking forward to reading more. I loved the story-line and the interesting characters but I didn't care much for the title. The blurb was a bit misleading and would make you think that there was a baby in the picture right away when in fact it's almost towards the end of the book that the heroine tells the hero she's pregnant. There were a few grammatical errors, which doesn't distract from the story, and I would have loved some background information on the heroine. Despite all of this, I still loved the story.

- I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review -
2 and 1/2 stars, (I rounded up because I was more amused than grumpy).
Okay, let’s just get this out of the way right now. This is a horrible title. Horrible. Honestly, if I hadn’t been approached by the author to review this ARC, there is no way in hell that I would have come anywhere near a book with a title like that. But then I would have missed out on a fun read, so perhaps I should take my Judgey McJudgerton pants off. Then again, I was asked for my opinion, so there you go. Was this book brilliantly written, completely addictive and rife with intense emotions and palpable chemistry? Um.. No. Did it have a solid, defined storyline, free from contradictions? Nope, not even close. Frankly, it was one of the most muddled, clumsy, hole-ridden stories that I’ve read in a while. Why, then, was it good? … Fantastic question. I wish I could tell you. All I know is that despite its many, many flaws, I still somehow managed to enjoy this book.
So here’s a breakdown of things that did and did not work for me: The h I adored almost immediately. She was a quirky, unapologetic, boarder line trainwreck of a man-eater. I loved that when we readers were first introduced to her, she was (accidentally) propositioning a gay guy. Priceless shit. The H, on the other hand, was not your typical cocky, man-whoring, strangely endearing, lovable, alpha ‘asshole’. No. He was a down right skeezy, misogynic, slime bag, piece of shit asshole. Some of the crap that came out of his mouth was mind-bendingly horrible, for someone that we’re supposed to eventually root for. It took a whole lot of work to see the redeeming side of him; I’m not sure that we ever really do. Yeah, he was funny when he was being an ass to some of the guys, but he really did go too far at times to be truly likable.
Aside from the characters themselves, the chronology of the storyline was boggy. Things that you think are taking place a day or so later are actually happening weeks later. Really, the whole story felt muddled: At times, it was hard to grasp what was happening and why; what the concrete motivations and thought processes were behind the actions of the characters.
My biggest issue, however, is that THE SYNOPSIS IS SO MISLEADING ! One would think that the aforementioned “baby” happens early in the book, with our H chasing after the mother of his unborn child for the majority of the book. NOPE. He doesn’t find out about the kid until the 90% mark. Really, everything mentioned in the synopsis happens in the last 10% of the book. Completely misleading and frustrating. And let’s talk about the H/h’s relationship: They screw twice, the h avoids the H, and then they're magically in love with each other. The End. Besides when they're actively having sex, there is literally zero chemistry between the two. They gave me no feels. None. Nada. Zilch. How did I like this book?? I donno! I just did! Kind of.
I would never pay money for this, but if you have an Amazon Unlimited subscription and can download it for free, I’d say to give it a whirl.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review, so in the spirit of honesty, I must mention that I didn't like this book. In all fairness though, I should state up front that this is not a reflection of the author's work, her style, or the book itself. It's all me and my preferences at play here. Let me explain.

Although this book doesn't have anything to do with these themes, I have to say that I am not a fan of motorcycle-club books, one genre in which the author has dabbled. My disdain for them all has to do with the heroes of those stories and their affinity for uncontrolled violence and fighting. You know, the kind of hero that punches first and asks questions later. This read like one of those novels. I could see Roman Knight as an MC club hero. It turned me off to him.

Well, it's not the only thing that turned me off to him. Honestly, I didn't like a thing about him. He was arrogant, rude, confrontational, immature, and really just an all-around jerk. One can only take the "I come from an abusive background" so far before it becomes less of a justification as to why a person behaves the way he does and more of a rationalization to try to excuse inexcusable behavior.

Next is his love interest, Willow. I find her character hard to take. She is a lawyer who is a take-charge female in an office full of power suits and confidence, yet she acts a bit trashy. Plus, she knows Roman's reputation as a womanizer, yet she dives into unprotected sex with him twice. Gross.

It also is a bit hard to believe that for someone like Roman, the mention of a baby turns him to mush, changing his whole lifestyle and personality for impending fatherhood. I know, it's not really unbelievable as it's happened countless times in history, but for Roman? He seems pretty far gone to allow us to believe that something like a kid, especially with his background, would change him so much. It seems Willow would be watching out for herself and her kid better since someone of Roman's background will likely become abusive, too. But again, I think about things like that.

Again, to be fair, this is not the type of book I normally read, so take my review for what it's worth. If you have a love of all things jerky-violent bad boy, this is probably right up your alley.

SCORE!! That’s exactly what Ms. James has done with yet another genre of romance reads. I am a huge fan of hers when it comes to rockers and bikers and even though sports romances haven’t really been my thing, she has definitely made me a follower of sports romances now especially if she keeps writing them.

You had better not have any issues with some down and dirty sex because Roman and Willow know how to mix it up in the bedroom…and the bathroom…and the practice field…yeah, you’re getting the drift. Once Willow crossed that line from trying to keep Roman out of trouble these two had a connection unlike any other. Roman was one of the nastiest, biggest, talented quarterbacks to come along in league history. Bad boy doesn’t even begin to describe him because there was no one as bad as Roman both on the field and off. This is why Willow was hired as a lawyer who’s one job it was to keep Roman from doing all the things that got him in trouble with both the league and the law.

Willow was going in to this blind because she had no idea what made Roman the way he was. Why would someone as bad as Roman who was giving millions in donations to various abuse shelters would not want any credit for it when this information would have been his ticket out of a lot of the trouble he was usually in? Was Willow able to find out soon enough what made Roman tick and keep him from burying himself both personally and professionally? You will have your heart ripped open at times just hearing what Roman has had to endure in his life. If you like bad boys you will definitely fall in love with Roman just as Willow had. The chemistry between these two was off the frickin’ charts! Was there anything that Willow could do to save Roman from himself or would she be forced to face her future alone without the man she had fallen for?

This is for anyone who likes badass alpha males whether they are rockers, bikers or athletes. I know I have been converted to yet another genre and I am hoping that Ms. James will do books on Roman’s badass brothers as well one of which is a hockey player and the other an outlaw biker. Just can’t get enough of these bad boys of romance.

'4.5 Romam&Willow'

I'm not really making huge REVIEWS or anything like that. I like to give My honest opinion, directly and in a few lines. When the Karolyn sent me the ARC the Book I didn't know what to expect of this newest baby. The book Totally won me over. Rome doesn't care about anything but him, or, he wants everyone to believe it. Willow she lost a case it will cost your job ... sunk in debt .What to do when two worlds collide? The bad boy naughty and beautiful young lady. The life of Rome was not easy he had an abusive father and did everything to save his brothers but not everything went as he wanted because he lost his mother. When looking for Rome might think he had one of the best lives only for his ignorant way and stray from being. Willon was hired to keep him out of trouble. TSC Tsc it wont work I thought by the time I read this part. But the authors did take off perfectly the story making me sigh, thrill and love Romam&Willow .I loved the whole book.

4 Stars for Roman and Willow!

*ARC kindly provided by the lovely London Casey in exchange for an honest review

First off, I've never read anything from London Casey, but I was pleasantly surprised by her writing style. I definitely enjoyed it. He writing wasn't confusing or misleading, nor was her book filled with grammatical errors which was a HUGE relief!

With that being said, I did enjoy many aspects of the book! There were many funny one liners and situations and overall I really did enjoy it.

Roman is a star NFL Quaterback, who doesn't care what he does, or how he comes across. Which lands him in a bit of trouble when a drunken incident leaves him very exposed to the general public. A last ditch effort to save his career by his lawyer and agent leads him to encounter Willow, a young lawyer who's main job is to keep him in check.

Their relationship was somewhat quick and at times a little crazy, very crazy in some instances. The things Willow did made me question her sometimes, also the way she talked to her superiors was a bit startling. For someone so young who could've only graduated one or two years prior to behave the was she did was interesting. She's got balls I'll give her that, but in the real world I'm thinking she would've been hired in a heartbeat.

Also There was a lot going on, and everything took forever to culminate, but then the resolutions happened all super quickly.

Obviously there's a baby involved, it's in the title, but you hardly get that plot line. It takes forever to happen and is hardly a major component which I thought it would be given the title. So that was a bit disappointing. I thought it would be a major factor in the story but it came so late that not much happened with it.

This wasn't a bad book by any means, I did enjoy it, yes there were some components I wasn't a fan of or wish had been taken into consideration more, but overall I enjoyed it!

Roman is the bad boy of football. He's good and he knows it. Roman doesn't let anyone in. NO. ONE. The problem is Roman has a slight temper and a penchant for getting into trouble. Which leads to him having a babysitter. Willow.

"Was Roman always that rough and wild? Did he have to always fight someone? Couldn't he just back up and walk away?
No. He couldn't. That was Roman's style. A fighter. A beast. A man who walked alone and stood up for himself. My God, that was so fucking hot."

Willow is a lawyer. She works and thrives in a man's world. Willow doesn't like relationships. A quicky, a one night stand, anything easy is more her style. Men are too much work and not worth her time. At least not the lawyers she's around. She loves her job and doesn't like losing. Her no-nonsense attitude leads her to her newest case. Roman.

"I knew where I was going and there was no turning back. There was no controlling Roman when he was normal, let alone if his beastly needs caught the scent of my sweet prey smell."

This story is fun! Does it lead to soul searching? No. But does it have you rooting for Roman and Willow? Absolutely! I truly enjoyed this story. If you enjoy HOT alpha males and headstrong females, than this is a book you will love! I highly recommend reading it!

What I loved the most: While there are some parts that I didn’t like (I wanted more drama tbh. For them to fall in love with each other is quite short for me), I enjoyed their chemistry!

The Verdict: I received an ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review.

I’m not feeling the title  I don’t know, but it seems to me that there’s a better one for this .

Moving on…..
This is like the typical ‘Good Girl saves Bad Boy’ new adult read (I’ve read a couple of new adult books with the same plot, so I must say this isn’t any different).

Roman Knight is your (typical) troubled star quarterback, who grew up in a broken family. His father was abusive towards him and his brothers. His mother committed suicide.

Willow is a lawyer with a bad past as well. She was hired to keep Roman out of trouble.

As you would have guessed, they fell for each other along the way . Just when you thought that everything’s okay, Roman once again faced another issue which could end up his career for good (stopping here because I don’t want to spoil this for you *wink*wink*).

I've read a few, well.... a lot books similar to this one. There was nothing new for me in this book. It's the same story of a bad boy player with a reputation of getting into fights and stuff. And it's where the girl comes to the rescue to improve the guys' image. Whether in form of PR agent or lawyer or just fake girlfriend that doesn't matter.

Plus point for this book is the hero is a bit troubled and needs time to discover what he truly feels and wants. A life of loneliness with criticism or a life with family and love.

To summarize it; the story was good, the characters were good too..
Sadly it was just OK for me :(

Roman a womanizer football star who loves to pick a fight with every turn. Willow is hired to keep her eye on him by Roman's law team at all times. Roman wants her and he always gets what he wants but this time he got more then he bargained for and then some. Can he be fixed this time or is this the end

I really enjoyed this book. I find dangerous, badass, muscled men attractive, and Roman definitely fit the bill. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star book for me, was because the ending was rushed. The book was almost over before either character admitted their feelings. I wish we got to see it progress at a little slower pace.

***I received an Arc in exchange for an honest review***

I'm torn. On one hand, I loved the book and on another, I hated it. Here's why. I love a fast paced story. I hate when authors drag out scene's that could take two pages to wrap up and it drags on for an entire chapter. Loved that about this book- there was no unnecessary crap written just to fill up the pages. However, on the other hand- some of those scenes NEEDED more substance to it to make more sense and to make you feel like you understood the characters and their choices.

Character development could have been a little stronger. I feel like I got to know Roman but we didn't really get to know Willow. Why was she so against relationships? Why was she so ok with her boss' exploiting her for being a young attractive looking female? Why did Willow basically just not give a crap about anything?? I'm still left wondering that after finishing the book. We got one look into her past and it was one paragraph. ONE. That was it.

There was one MAJOR issue I had. In the beginning of the book Willow has a one night stand. She makes the comment the next morning that she was glad to see a condom wrapper on the floor because she doesn't take any form of birth control. However- later in the book after she finds out she's pregnant, she makes the comment that she was on birth control and doesn't believe that she could be pregnant but later admits that she may have missed a few pills. This bothered me just because it was such a huge contradiction with one of the main factors in this book. That being Willow getting pregnant by Roman- which is told in the blurb and the title.

I also felt like the ending was rushed. The murder that is mentioned in the blurb doesn't happen until your 85% into the book. That does not leave much time for the event to unfold and a solution to properly play out. It was super rushed and I was left wanting more. Also at 85% is when Willow finds out she is pregnant. Yes, at the same time the murder happens. Leaving only 15% for Willow and Roman to deal with both situations.

Having said all that- I still liked the book. I didn't want to put it down and I did want to see how it all unfolded. There is child abuse in this book, but it does not go into a whole lot of detail. There is no cheating and there is no rape.

I'm seriously torn. I'm going to give this one 3.5 Stars. If the ending had been more developed and not felt so rushed and the character development was better, I would have given this a higher rating.

{ARC Generously Provided by Author in Exchange For an Honest Review}

The story is interesting. For once the two main character did not meet during the season and had to make do with crazy fans and ex-girlfriends.
However, there is paparazzi and jail drama.

description

Roman is intense. As much as I like alpha male, tough but sweet, he made me wary at first. I mean, come on, the guy does have a serious issue of anger management. However, as the story develops, we start to understand the whys and kind of forgive him (even though violence is not the answer). I couldn’t phantom why he was destroying all he had accomplish, and if he truly believe that money was the answer for everything… He surprises me in a good way. Deep, deep down he is a sweet guy. He is a protector. A warrior. And who does not love one?

As for Willow, she was spiky. I liked her. She has some good wit and is independent. However, she doesn’t really look like a bad-ass lawyer I regret that we didn’t get to see her vulnerabilities and to get to know her as we learnt about Roman. I mean, she claimed to not be relationship material, to not want one and to not want a family, but it is not explained why The big problem with her, in my opinion, is that she keeps saying that he can trust her, that she is not like others after his money, BUT she keeps saying that she is doing her job, she is here for her career. How is it not using him?

All in all it is a good book. It is a fast and enjoyable read. It is not off the chart good, but it has a “petit je ne sais quoi” that make you coming back for more. I’ll definitely read the following books. I want to know more about Slade and Cain…
A last bit of information about the two main characters: they are hot together. There is passion, there is love, there is a story to read :)

This was a pretty good book. Roman Knight is an extremely talented Quarterback and he's the highest paid one in the professional league. But he's also the one that starts so many bar fights and other anger problems he has and keeps his Manager, PR people, and lawyers always busy trying to keep him out of legal troubles. Willow is an attorney that is brought in to try to keep him out of trouble.

Roman Knight has a tragic and horrible past and it still affects him to this day. He's the oldest of the Knight brothers and he took the brunt of the abuse from his father. But his father definitely dealt out tons to his two younger brothers as well. He was a horrible man that caused their mother to die and tortured his sons nonstop. The man has cancer and Roman just wants to know when the man is dead. He's gorgeous and so talented but his past and his anger cause him serious trouble. He's a perfectionist and any problems on the field cause him to work excessively to never let it happen to him again. While his teammates are enjoying the off season, Roman does not take any time off and just practices nonstop. He donates tons of money anonymously to different shelters that aid and shelter women from domestic abuse. He also signs and sees children that have deathly illnesses but he does it all without trying to get good promotion from it. He loves his brothers but they seldom see each other but when they do get together they tend to fight each other.

Willow is a successful lawyer and works extremely hard at it. But when she has a case that doesn't succeed or she has to defend someone she doesn't agree with, it kills her inside. She drinks too much and she tends to sleep with guys she doesn't know in those moments. She is a very strong woman and she doesn't back down to anyone. She's attracted to Roman but he can be a major jerk and hostile at times. She's doing everything she can to keep things professional but she starts to realize that there is way more to Roman than meets the eye.

Definitely worth reading.

I received an ARC for an honest review. This is an enchanting, well written story about Roman, a professional football quarterback playing for the Dragons. Although Roman is the highest paid quarterback in the league, he is also the league’s biggest problem. Roman continually gets into trouble and his handlers and the football commissioner worry about all the bad press he is receiving. Roman is cocky and arrogant. He lives his life by his rules and having fun is his first rule and he doesn't care what people think.

Willow is a young, smart attorney working hard and trying to be successful. She has a lot of spunk and isn't afraid to speak her mind. When she loses a case her bosses assign her to babysit Roman to make sure he stays out of trouble and out of the press. Willow doesn't know anything about football or Roman, but she is a quick study. Willow is instantly attracted to Roman’s hard, sexy body and his good looks, but she tries to keep their relationship on a professional level, as Roman tries to seduce her.

Once Roman meets Willow, he can't stop thinking about her. His life has always been filled with one night stands and Willow scares him, because for the first time in his life, he wants more.
From the outside it looks like Roman has it all fame, money, along with a great football career, but he also has demons. Roman stole my heart; he comes from a dysfunctional family and has never learned how to love. Yes, he can be a jerk, but he also has good qualities. He has a big heart and he is protective of those he cares about. He is a good guy hiding behind his bad boy reputation.

I loved the author's voice and Roman and Willow have a lot of chemistry. I am also looking forward to reading future stories about Roman’s two brothers Caine and Slade.

I received an advanced review copy of this book from the author for an honest review. This book is told in duel POV’s Roman is the highest paid quarterback in the league but can’t seem to stay out of trouble. To many drunken bar fights and altercations with the paparazzi. He lets his past guilt over his friend Tyler’s misfortune almost ruin his career and life. Tyler being caught up with drugs and gambling feels Roman should bail him out all the time. Roman comes across as an Alpha male manwhore who always gets what he wants. He sleeps with random women several times a week. Willow is an attorney who is assigned to be a distraction for Roman, in other words a baby sitter to try to keep him out of trouble. She is pressured to do this after loosing a big case so her job is on the line. She has student loan debt and needs her job.

Roman and Willow are attracted to each other and it isn’t long before they have sex on the hood of his car. Roman is also fighting his past, the abusive childhood at the hands of his dying father and the death of his mother. After unprotected sex numerous times Willow ends up pregnant and this is the catalyst to get Roman to not take the fall for his friend Tyler so he can have a future with Willow and their baby. I feel Romans non-use of condoms was unrealistic to his characters status of sleeping with multiple women a week. For it to be her only form of birth control she should have had some sort of reaction to the risk of pregnancy. Roman has 2 brothers that are mentioned in the book and the author has set up for stories regarding them for future book possibilities. 3.5 Stars

Roman, quarterback extraordinaire and no stranger to the paparazzi. With all the legal troubles including weapons charges, assault, no wonder he's always front page news. Now a new story has dropped. Roman in another bar fight, except this one is caught on film. Big deal, soon to be old news, right? Well this time it is big news and if he wants to keep his day job he needs to stop looking for the trouble he seems to find way too easily. This fight wasn't his fault, but because of past indiscretions, it doesn't make a difference. He needs to be kept in line. Willow is tasked with this job. Willow is a lawyer, an associate with her firm, hoping to make partner one day. She accepts the job, under duress, hoping it leads to bigger and better things. Roman is pure temptation for her, and apparently vise versa. She needs to do her job without complications. Roman is making that difficult. Willow has her work cut out for her, if she wants to save her career. Watching Roman throw away his life isn't what she aspires to. She needs to find out what makes this sexy, alpha tick, without losing herself in the process. Things couldn't get any worse than they already are, or can they?
I LOVED THIS BOOK ! THIS IS A GREAT START TO A NEW SERIES ! I CAN'T WAIT FOR CAINE AND SLADE TO GET THEIR STORIES OUT THERE ! THIS WAS DEFINITELY A WILD RIDE !
I loved the Roman and Willow dynamic ! They have this amazing connection but they're both so screwed up, they don't know what to do about it. THE SEX WAS SO HOT ! COMBUSTIBLE ! VERY INTENSE ! RIP THE SHEETS HOT ! CAN'T WAIT FOR BOOK TWO !
YOU NEED TO ONE-CLICK THIS BOOK ASAP ! ! !

I Loved this book!!!

The story revolves around Roman Knight who is a very famous football player. He is the best and highest paid player on the league. Roman is the definition of REBEL. No one tells him what to do, he is uncontrollable. He is arrogant, mean (most of the time), rude and stubborn.

He has a temper that keeps getting him into trouble, he's unapologetic, he enjoys getting into fights and he never backs off no matter what the consequences. He gets away with everything because of his status and he takes advantage of that fact but he has gone too far with his recent bar fight.

His lawyer and agent are alway fighting for him. However his latest stunt could mean that his career is in trouble.

His lawyer decides to hire sweet talking, sassy, no nonsense lawyer, Willow (whose career is in jeopardy after losing a major case) to keep him out of trouble. It is Willow's job to make sure he behaves, she basically has to babysit him but finds its close to impossible to do.

Willow sees beyond the bad boy, tough exterior. She sees the good in him. She is also very attracted to him and find it hard to resist him.

The story will give us a peek of Roman's tortured past and what shaped him into the person he is. We are also introduced to his brothers and their unique way of communicating. We get a look at their relationship with each other and the bond they share.

We also watch the development of Willow and Roman's relationship. Will she be able to calm him down? Can he be tamed?

There's not a dull moment in this book, interesting from beginning to end, a definite page turner.

I look forward to reading the next book in this series....

Roman is a freaking asshole!!! I just can't with him he's a full-time prick and the worst is that he is not even cheeky or charming about it. But God how much I love him, I don't understand how or why but I do. I think that's the result of good writing.

I love this book, at first, I was really mad because Roman was being an asshole all the time and I was I little done with him. But I couldn't stop reading I just wanted to know if he change or something and the story line was good too. Well, in the end, he doesn't change he is still an asshole but he is a good kind of asshole.

Willow, I like her a lot she has an attitude and doesn't back down. When she first meet hm I was a little disappointed because she was flustered and he kept winning the arguments and I was like girl step up your game don't let this prick win. Thankfully as the book progressed she's more like herself, not fully but who could? that Roman is a fine specimen and you can't win against that.

I loved how she took care of everything at the end, she didn't back down or run to a corner to cry. She found a solution that helped everyone in that makes her better than me because I would leave Tyler to rot in jail. Totally badass!

This book is good it was well written, the plot was good and was never boring. Well, obviously Roman kept getting in trouble.

I'm excited for book two but I'm ecstatic for the novella, I'm hoping to see another side of Roman even if I love his asshole self.

I've got to say this book was amazing. If like me you love Dirty Talking arrogant Football Players then this is the book for you.
Roman is one Player that has me all hot and bothered. He's a man that's out to please himself both on and off the Pitch. He loves being the bad boy quarterback, in fact he goes out of his way to keep his reputation as the Asshole that can't stay out of trouble.
All that's about to change when he's saddled with a Lawyer babysitter to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Roman is not happy about this at all.
Untill he claps eyes on her that is.
Willow stirs something unfamiliar in him, he doesn't like it one bit. He plans to get her out of his system they only way he knows how...in his bed, and he's a man that always gets what he wants.

But there's more to Roman than meets the eye, he's hasn't had the best childhood past Ghosts still haunt him.
After spending time with him, Willow realises there's more to Roman than the violent thug he wants everyone to see, she plans on finding out just what the star player is hiding.
This in turn throws them together in more ways than one.
I loved the chemistry between these two, Roman just oozed confidence and he's just so Damn Dirty too.
He had Nicole right where he wanted her before she even saw it coming.
I loved this book, can't wait for the next one in the series. X

roman knight, the name alone makes those around him quiver. he doesn't back down ever, like he's a loose canon. he's like that on the field and of the field. he doesn't care about the consequences because he has a legal team to take care of it all. but even they get enough of it all.that's when willow is called in, to babysit him and keep him out of trouble. but half the time trouble finds him, sometimes he welcomes it, sometime he doesn't but either way he still doesn't care about the outcome. with willow in the picture he's getting a one track mind and that only results with wanting her in his bed, not once or twice but forever. but his upbringing makes him belief he's not worth it, he just had to look at his brothers, just as loos a canon like he was in their own way and he knew enough. their father? he'd be better of dead and buried.
willow thought things were going better, with roman and with them together. he finally opened up to her. but it was too good to be true and it all came crumbling down and now the one thing he asked for is being tested : trust.

what a ride this was! roman is something else, his brother... just as bad ass. everything doesn't mean a thing until you meet the right woman, then it makes sense. loved this first book about the knight brothers and i can't wait to read the rest of them!!

WOW, just wow. Ms. Casey’s latest release The Man, The Game, The Baby is phenomenal, another fantastic start to a new series for London Casey aka Karolyn James. Ms. Casey has now stepped into the Sports-Romance genre, and what a way to start!
Roman Knight is football’s greatest badass, but is he really. True he does get himself into a lot of trouble, and I truly mean a lot. Bar fights, DUI, and now he is accused of murder. His team and the league is ready to boot his troublesome butt, his very well build butt. His agent brings in Willow to be a part of his legal team, and to keep him out of trouble. But, will she be able to? That is the question. Will she be able to keep herself out of trouble? You see, Roman has set his sights on Willow, and she has fully caught his pass, as well as something else… Willow sees a side of Roman that no one else sees, probably because he does not want them to see it. There truly is a good guy inside.
I love Ms. Casey’s way of writing a story. She definitely knows how to keep her readers interested in the story. I could not put this book down this morning, I finished it in one sitting it caught me that much.
Thank you for reading my review. If you love great romance, read this one!

i love these types of books... But I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. I really liked it. A LOT.

Willow was a strong willed person, a great lawyer, but she often let her personal beliefs get in the way of doing her job... which as a lawyer you really cannot do. Although fighting for what you believe in is a noble effort, it really doesn't help when defending clients. Roman was a completely emotionally broken man. Yes, he's a highly paid professional football player, but he really has no idea what it means to live up to your consequences. He never has had to in his adult life; however, he certainly paid for more than consequences in his younger years. THIS is what makes Roman who he is today.

Without giving too much away and remaining spoiler free, witnessing a transformation with both of these characters made this book what it was. Even though Roman was not the type of guy you fall in love with, I certainly liked him much more as the book went on, and came to love him the more I read. Willow really had no choice but to fall in love, but was that truly enough?

I hope you all like this book as much as I did. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

This review is provided honestly as an ARC.I loved this book plus it was my first ever London Casey book got to love reading new authors. This book is an emotionally great romance story , about damaged yet you still love him man- Roman and a strong heroine who you got to like -Willow. The story was so great pulling you in and even when you think you know what it's about London made it so it really is different. Roman a sex god, meets Willow and with most stories the man of the story would instantly change to be a better man but not Roman he continues fighting his demons, and while also figuring his attraction to Willow so as not to let it evolve. Roman's cocky, arrogant and an ass, never wanting change. Willow, while trying to do her job doesn't count on was how much the job would become to her whole heart. Willow and Roman's story is certainly hot but under it all lies the trust and the healing of life's demons. A great HEA that doesn't take you straight there no you take the ling way around but by God it's worth it.

Oh boy Willow lost a big case and it may cost her job and Roman lost a game. Roman lives fast and free and trouble finds him everywhere he goes and this time a bar fight puts him jail not so much for the fight but peeing on the photographers camera. His lawyer and manager are at their wits end but Romans lawyer Ted has a friend who thinks Willow will be perfect to set him straight. All Willow has to do is keep Roman out of trouble and she can keep her job and make a lot of money doing it, the catch is that she can't get to attached. Roman doesn't get attached but he wants in Willow's life and it scares him. Roman's life was hell growing up with his abusive father and trying to save his brothers but he couldn't save his mother she committed suicide. Roman is so full of aggression and Willow doesn't take his attitudes. I was hurting right along with Roman and praying for Willow to get some happiness. This is a standalone thank goodness cause it would have killed me to wait.
