What a awesome read. This book was my first Tom Stearns book and I really like the way he writes. His writing style is like if ya took some Stephen King, Chuck Buda, and Jeff Menapace and put them in a blender. Tom Stearns can write and this was a awesome actually very violent psychological thriller \horror. I am definitely going to be digging into this author..... I have a feeling this is one of his less violent books and this was pretty brutal. I'd definitely recommend this one I enjoyed it.
What a fantastic read - one of the best stories about a 'crazed 'psychopath with cops hot on the tale' that I have ever read...and I do read lots of good old 'insane nutcase on the loose' adventures.
Not to be missed if you like these type of stories, with the added bonus of a great little twist right at the very end.
Bravo, Mr Stearns - I plan to be reading much more of your work in future - keep them horror trips right on coming!
Location: Set in Liverpool, UK, too - excellent!
'Calm down, lad...calm down!'
Highly recommended.
Rating: 4.8 wriggling dark stars of total insanity.
This is a captivating story that has you gripped. Price seems like a average type of man but then things change after a trip to the doctors. Blood list and hatred of promiscuity among women, has him seething and brings about a gory side to him. The atrocities he does to these women are not for the weak stomached. This read had a fantastic storyline with some great characters. Also twists to the story that has you dumbfounded. Definitely recommend to any horror fan but not for those easily offended.
Gonna check out other books by this author. Great story.
Everything comes together at the end, within a few pages. Would have liked for it to be a little longer and have the ending contain more details. I really did enjoy reading this book.
