Quake is book one in the Quake series by Jacob Chance. It is also part one of a duet, so it does end in a cliffy! But I knew this in advance and was all prepared for it with the next book, Quiver, all set and ready to go. I’ve been wanting to read this series forever and finally decided that I just needed to jump in and start it and am so glad I did.

Kyle McKenzie is thirty three years old, is an ex-cop and now private investigator for K.D. Investigations. Kyle has been hired by a wife who thinks her husband is acting suspiciously and wants Kyle to see what he’s up to. What he found, though, wasn’t suspicious behavior, but the suspect’s younger sister, the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.

Janny Moore is twenty two years old and is a senior in her last year of college in Boston. It’s at the nightclub, Quake, where she first literally ran into the hottest man she’s ever seen. But then fate stepped in again and brought them together once more, giving them the chance to actually talk.

Kyle wants to stay away from Janny. She deserves so much more than what he can offer her. But he just can’t seem to do it. She’s the most perfect woman he’s ever known. He knows he needs to tell her the truth about seeing her before they met while on surveillance. But what if she leaves him when she finds out. No, he’ll wait a little longer until her feelings are stronger and then tell her.

First, this book is scorching hot! I’m definitely not complaining! Even though these two are eleven years apart and are at different places in their lives, they still seem to fit together. Janny is a bit of an old soul I think. They also have a lot in common with their pasts. They seem to bring a peace to each other neither has been able to find otherwise. But as I said, Kyle has been keeping a very big secret. The suspense portion of this book doesn’t really kick in until the last part of the book and then that cliff hanger has me anxious to jump right on to the next book which I am going to do in about five minutes. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Slight ammendment here.

I have decided out of fairness to the author and to the readers or future readers interested in this book that I won't be writing a review. I'm going to be neutral. You may now call me Switzerland.

There is not one single negative review here. So what does that say about me? I didn't particularly like the book and I'm tickled pink for all of you who did. I won't go into detail how I felt about this book.

Just because I didn't like it doesn't mean that others won't besides. I wait for the second one to come out.

Do you know what makes me absolutely fucking livid? A to be continued sentence at the end of the book. Of course it can't be mentioned in the blurb because why do that?

Next book is released in September.

I have been waiting for this read. This is a new Author for me. The storyline is really good. I liked that there was a twist to it. The sex scenes are very hot!! I read this book with ease. Be warned there is a scene that can be a trigger it was an almost rap. No cheating in this story. The ending leaves you with a small cliffhanger. I say small because the Author gives you a sneak peak into book 2. And a sneak peak to his brothers soon to be release. I find it to be super awesome.

3-3.5 stars. So for a novella there's a lot of story. As a debut, it was fairly good. The premise was really good and I liked the characters although a bit one dimensional. I will still continue with the story thinking that maybe the writing will get better with each book. That cliffy was crazy but luckily book 2 is out already. One thing that bugged the shit out of me was the absolutely unnecessary OM scene. They weren't together yet so it didn't piss me off. It's just that it added absolutely NOTHING to the story. I kept thinking some big thing would come of her ex Kyle, but nothing. It lasts only about 2 pages so not a big deal but still brought nothing to the story IMO.

Quake is the first book in a two part series by debuting author Jacob Chance. With both the author and the book being surrounded by a lot curiosity and hype, expectations are automatically set high. So, when readers are introduced to Kyle McKenzie and Janny Moore, an emotional journey filled with lust, lies and love ensues. Keeping readers engrossed from beginning to end, Jacob Chance’s introduction into the indie world does not disappoint.

Following Kyle McKenzie and his infatuation with Janny Moore, Quake brings to life the foundations of this unconventional love story. Told from both Kyle and Janny’s perspective, Quake manages to give readers insight into both the past and present of each character. With each chapter unraveling more of their relationship; their connection deepens. Having every intention to bask in a happily ever after, Kyle and Janny’s relationship seems to be solid. But, when secrets are revealed and feelings are hurt, nothing but uncertainty lingers.

Jacob Chance manages to incorporate a perfect amount of drama and emotion into Quake. With a steady pace throughout; each storyline is given the appropriate amount of time to inform and unfold. Impressively adding depth and detail, not often seen in a book of this length; Jacob Chance’s use of sex and secrets successfully sets the tone for this series and will have readers undoubtedly coming back for more.

Quake is the debut novel from author Jacob Chance. The premise of Quake is an interesting one, and quite different from anything else I've seen published recently, which was a huge positive for me. It follows the relationship between Kyle and Janny, who have an unconventional start to say the least.

I absolutely loved this book and read it in one sitting. Your attention is captured from the start of the prologue to the very last word written. And the first chapter is probably the hottest one that I've read! The chemistry between the two lead characters is hot but, importantly, the emotional connection is just as strong; I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Kyle and Janny grow into something substantial and real.

The story is well paced, the writing is strong and confident (which is even more impressive when considering this is a debut author) and the characters are complex and compelling. There is an honesty and depth to this book that endears these characters to you, and makes you hope that they get their happy ending.

Overall a very enjoyable, high quality read, that I would definitely recommend.

This is a great debut novel by Jacob Chance. I adore the book cover, and of course the blurb sucked me in. I have to be honest and say it’s not very often that a male author can hold my attention, but Jacob really pulled me into the story. I was literally sucked in from the beginning. After reading the blurb, I had a general idea of how the story might play out, but I was actually shocked out the outcome. This book is told in duel POV so we get both Kyle and Janny throughout the book.

Kyle is a former cop turned P.I. He is hired by a woman to watch her husband. At first the job is boring, until he sees Janny for the first time, and Kyle’s whole world is flipped upside down. He knows he has to meet Janny, but how can he make that happen? Fate steps in introducing Kyle and Janny and these two fall head over heals for each other. But what happens when secrets are kept? Can Janny and Kyle overcome the obstacles ahead or was their relationship doomed from the start?

One thing I loved about this book is how real the characters are. They are normal everyday people with real problems. Janny is such a sweet loving character, and Kyle is a little bossy and over-the-top, but together they are perfection. They bring out the best in each other, and of course their chemistry is off the charts. Be ready cause this book is definitely hot! Kyle has a dirty mouth and isn’t afraid to use it. And that ending…. OMG!!! I know I yelled at my kindle. I was so consumed with the story I didn’t want it to end. I need more now, and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Jacob Chance has a huge problem on his hands—he set the bar so high on HIMSELF that his next book has some pretty big shoes to fill. I'm seriously taken back with the fact that Quake is his debut novel.
Janny Moore and Kyle McKenzie have both lost more than anyone should have to. Yet, these two are intelligent, caring and considerate people who miraculously carry on with their lives.
The two of them literally bump into each other at a Quake, a nightclub. I want to say that fate has led Janny and Kyle to meet, but because of Kyle's line of work, Janny's thinking otherwise.
Quake is fabulous—it has the perfect balance of hot sex, suspense, angst, and love. I swear, other than a few comma's, maybe a parenthesis here and there, this book was written nearly flawless. Each chapter held my interest; I only put it down when I was finished. I adored Janny and Kyle—they deserve to have a HEA. The ending? Yeah, I didn't see that coming—a major cliffie that made me want to throw my iPad across the room. But I didn't because I know that the author already is busy writing the second book ~ I know this because I threatened him in an-ever-so-friendly way.
I can't rave enough about Quake. I'm really looking forward to what the future holds for Jacob Chance. I positively recommend this book, and I wish I could have written a proper review in more detail, but I was given this ARC for an honest review. With so much talent, this was hands down, a five star read for me.

Quake is Jacob Chance's first book, first of many, I hope! He is a new author that will be making the ladies swoon with his words, for many books to come. I have been anxiously awaiting this book for months now. I'm not going to lie...I did a bit of a happy dance and drank too many margaritas in celebration of it's arrival. I will tell you that it was totally worth the wait! Quake will be burning up kindles like you wouldn't believe!

Kyle, the sexy cop turned PI will work his way into your heart, with his sensitive side and his dirty talking, sexy side. He is the complete package. Janny is sweet, independent and all kinds of sassy. These two characters together are amazing and compliment each other nicely. The chemistry between them is nothing short of electrifying and will leave you quaking and craving more.

I loved everything about this book, from the unusual way in which Janny and Kyle meet to the very unexpected twists and turns of the story. I loved that they were real people, with real problems. It's kind of refreshing to read about normal people with normal problems. The story was compelling and there were no wasted words, every word had purpose and meaning. I was literally flipping pages like a boss and had it finished in nearly one sitting.

Congratulations Jacob on a job well done! I am a HUGE fan and am looking forward to more of your work in the future...the not so distant future, right?! Don't leave us ladies waiting too long!

Firstly I loved this book! Secondly the way this is written you wouldn’t think it was Jacob Chance’s debut novel.

Kyle McKenzie is a retired cop turned P.I. While on the job he stumbles across Janny Moore. She’s young, gorgeous and immediately catches Kyle’s attention, and he knows he needs to get to know her somehow.

“She’s never set eyes on me. She has no idea I exist…. but she will”.

As soon as I started the prologue to this I knew I was hooked, I read this in one sitting. Jacob Chance held my attention all the way through. Janny was sweet, kind but also independent and a little sassy, whereas Kyle is strong, dominant and determined. This is more than just a romance novel, there’s suspense thrown in there too.

This book is gripping and HOT in places, you are going to need that fan on while you’re reading this, but you also get the other side of him, the side that will make you want to hold on to him and not let go. Let me tell you Kyle McKenzie has just made it on to my BBF list!
Quake is told in dual POV and is a definite MUST READ! Jacob Chance is definitely a new author to look out for and will be going on my definite 1-click list. This book is AWESOME!

5 massive stars!

I always love reading books from new authors and so glad I had the opportunity to read this book. The authors words in this book had me intrigued. I was hooked into this book from the first chapter. The title for the book was so very fitting and I absolutely loved the cover. The cover alone would make me want to buy this book.

I was very interested in these characters. I really enjoyed how descriptive Jacob was with his characters. These characters were just like your normal everyday people and had been through real life situations. That's probably why I was so anxious to read this book. I felt for these characters, to me that's the best part about a book. Once the author has me feeling I am a lifetime fan of them!

The storyline of this book was just amazing. I felt like all his words in this book just moved so well together. There wasn't a point where I got bored or anything. And, of course Jacob threw in some amazing sex scenes in this story as well. So, you definitely do not want to miss those!!

Once you start this book, you will love it so much. You do not want to miss this book! I know I will be recommending this book to all of my friends!

Paula Dawn's Review:

I haven't read a lot of serials, I'm usually a full length novel girl, but I knew when I read Quake would involve some type of voyeur aspect, I was in. As I've said before, I don't discriminate against my book boyfriends. Stalker-ish? No problem.

I should clarify... Kyle wasn't a stalker exactly, he was just a man drawn to a girl who didn't know he was watching... and, um, doing sexy things to himself. I mean, see the difference there?

Kyle was a PI with some hidden secrets. He was kind of dark and brooding with a naughty streak. But, he also had a sweet side that offset the broodiness. He eventually meets Janny, the object of his desire/fantasy/obsession/love looking and this began the drama. Wheeeee! Janny was a sweet college girl who had her own demons. These two had great chemistry and we got to see their developing relationship and each of them opening themselves up.

But! You had to know there was a but coming... Kyle had an even bigger secret he was hiding. Bigger than the love looking. Huge! So many secrets. Would Kyle fess up to love looking? Would Janny freak when/if she found out? Was he going to keep watching her? I sure hoped he would! So much angst!

Side note: In case you're wondering what love looking is...

Love Looking--when someone who is dark, troubled, and sweet watches you in a sexy way.

Stalker-- someone who is scary and creepy. Run.

Quake was a quick read, so I don't want to give too much away. I was very impressed at the amount of depth and detail that was packed into this little book. Quake had really hot sex, angst, suspense, and great character development. Obviously since it's a series there's a GREAT BIG GIANT ENORMOUS cliffhanger, but Quiver is just around the corner. Phew.

This was a very impressive debut and I hope you one click this! Serials just may be my new thing.

Also. I have to give honorable mention to a character that captivated me with one line. Josh. ❤️

Let me start by saying this book was A-MA-ZING, the way it is written you wouldn't think that it is Author Jacob Chance's debut novel, it was written that well. I was hooked from just reading the prologue and didn't put it down until the last page.

Kyle McKenzie, cop turned P.I Kyle co-owns KD Investigations with his buddy Derek. While on a job Kyle stumbles upon the very beautiful Janny Moore and he becomes very intrigued with her even maybe a little obsessed with her, Kyle knows he has to meet her. After a couple of chance meetings Kyle asks Janny out on a date and there starts their journey. Kyle and Janny have an instant connection and the sexual tension is HOT HOT HOT!!!!

The characters are written exceptionally well, it's refreshing to read about two normal people instead of your typical millionaire. They both have emotional and traumatic baggage but they calm each other's demons so to speak. I can't wait to read the next book and see where Jacob takes us especially after that ending..... Because WOAH!!!!
This was an easy 5stars for me and definitely a must read.... Great job on your debut.

This is the story of Kyle McKenzie, an ex-cop turned private investigator and Janny Moore, the young lady who Kyle is obsessed with and desperate to get to know. I’m a sucker for stories told from a dual point of view and couldn’t have asked for more when I soon realised that this was how it was going to be. Familiarizing myself with each of them and what they were thinking as the story unfolds literally had me stuck to the pages. And the beginning! Wow, even though they hadn’t quite met, to say it was titillating is putting it mildly!

“I’m glad I noticed you sitting here. I didn’t get your name the other night and I regretted it.”

The chemistry between them is palpable throughout the read; however, I sensed that there was more going on than just two people’s deep attraction for one another. Even though Kyle is a strong alpha male, I could feel a sensitive side to him which was one of the reasons I connected to him so easily. Probably why this young sassy gal, Janny, was affected by him, too. She thought she knew what she wanted but Kyle throws her a curve-ball.

There is a back story and it’s fair to say one shouldn't be fooled into thinking it's a run of the mill romantic erotic book. It’s so much more than that. There were times as things progressed that I had many mixed feelings regarding the depths of their emotional level causing some shout out loud moments. Believe me, that got me a couple of strange looks from my better half! What I can say is being testament to the author’s beautiful flowing storytelling technique and his ability to grab my attention will hopefully be the same for many other readers.

“What are we doing?”
“We’re eating breakfast.”
“That’s not what I meant. What do you want from me, from us?”

Mystery and intrigue along with secrets and lies abound. Half the time, I found myself cursing since unexpected happenings frustrated me. And I have no doubt whatsoever that these details were the making for such a good read. Delving into it, I easily forgot my surroundings. Alas, when real life got in the way is when I became aware that I had to put this unputdownable book down! The supporting characters are an interesting bunch of people and I liked how they worked into the story. Add the right mix of romance, angst and hotness and oh my, no shortage of hotness here, had me entranced.

Sometimes it's very difficult to convey how much you love a book, how it makes you feel and how impressive the creation is at drawing you in. Jacob Chance certainly has the talent to do just that. I highly recommend readers to take a chance. (No pun intended!) I look forward to seeing what comes next and I predict a very rosy future in the indie author world for Jacob. I’ve struggled to pick up another book and the only solution was to go back and read Quake.

I was lucky enough to be given an ARC of Quake in exchange for an honest review.
From the first page I was gripped. I loved the voyeuristic element of the first chapter it was a scorching opening scene and it set the pace for the rest of the book.
Ex-cop Kyle McKenzie is co-owner of KD Investigations. When called to investigate a husband by a concerned wife he first sets eyes on Janny Moore. Janny Moore is determined to complete her senior year at university, when she literally bumps into Kyle McKenzie she's surprised herself at her own overwhelming feelings and reactions to this man.
I loved the connection Kyle and Janny had, they certainly set the pages on fire. I loved Kyle's character he is dominant, broody and caring. I found within the first few chapters I wanted to hug him and my heart ached for his physical and emotional pain that he feels.
Quake is a fantastic book, it is fast paced, written with a good amount of detail and flows brilliantly.
Jacob Chance writes with a directness that is heady and exciting. I was able to imagine easily the scenes and feelings he was portraying through his words. A fantastic debut novel Jacob Chance and I'm excited to read more of your work, thank you for sharing Quake.

I'm trying to find the words to describe how I feel right now after reading this. The ending has pretty much slayed me. My heart was owned, then broken, then ripped out of my chest. So many emotions in one book. Great job Jacob. This was definitely a 5 star read and if I didn't know, I would never guess this was your first book published.

Kyle is now a PI and was once a cop that was shot in the link e of duty. He lives with the pain of migraines daily as a result of the shooting. It has caused so much turmoil in his life. I feel so many emotions reading from his POV. To see a look inside the mind of someone who struggles daily. He definitely holds a piece of my heart. One of his jobs bring a woman into his life in a non traditional way, and you won't believe how it all turns out.

I had been going crazy wanting to read this book after seeing all the teasers for it and let me tell you this book did not disappoint when I finally did get to read it. This book was different than any book I've ever read. He hooked me from the beginning all the way until the end. I couldn't put this book down I took it with me everywhere I went until I finished. Kyle made me swoon the whole time I was reading. I absolutely loved all of the characters. This was one hot book also. I absolutely loved this amazing book and can't believe this is his first book. Jacob is one of my new favorite authors and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

This was one of a few books I was patiently waiting for this year. Let me just say that I loved the story. I loved the characters. I loved that fate played a roll in bringing Kyle and Janny together. Kyle was very much taken with Janny and it showed. He was gentle with her, but also controlling with her.....he balanced it perfectly. It was a true love story with all the sexy goodness that you would need in a book. I literally don't know that I can wait to find out what happens.....I almost threw my iPad across the room at the ending. Jacob Chance did a great job with his first book!!!!!!!! I hope there are many more to come!

I was so anxiously awaiting the. release of Quake just from the teasers and the synopsis, but I did have my doubts not knowing what to expect from a new author and Quake being Jacob Chances's debut novel by far exceeded my expectations.

The two main characters Kyle McKenzie and Janny Moore define the meaning of fate in so many ways , both broken and fighting past demons, watching their journey from start to finish had me so intrigued that I actually felt as if I was right there with them the whole time. The feels and emotions that Jacob portrayed throughout this book were so intense and brilliantly written, each chapter flowed seamlessly into the next told in a dual POV we get to experience both Kyle and Janny's past and present in such a clearer perspective.

This book captured me from the first page until the last ,I read it in one sitting not being able to put it down . Jacob gave us romance and yes very hot sex scenes ,and omg the kissing scene wow you will know which one when u read it "fans self " and Kyle and his dirty talking hot hot alpha male he is my new book boyfriend for sure but with all that hot talk Jacob manages to mix in angst, drama and a bit of suspense keeping me at times holding my breath wondering what will happen next.

Kyle and Janny do not have your typical traditional start of a relationship theirs is what some might call unconventional but.... it works perfectly for them although things aren't always as smooth as we wish when secrets emerge and pasts creep up will it be enough to give these two the HEA they are working so hard to achieve? Well you will have to go and one click this baby to find out because I will not give anything away.

I have so many highlighted favorite scenes in this story I was going to post them but I decided against it only because I do not want to give anything away in this book, it's a novella length but the way this author writes you do not miss a thing. I can't say enough good about the writing style Jacob has, he has definitely become an auto buy author for me. Go buy your copy today and experience one of the most beautiful heart wrenching stories out. If I could i would rate this much higher than the five stars allowed

Jacob Chance congratulations on this brilliant masterpiece I still cannot believe this is your debut novel. Oh and yes hurry up with book two I need it like yesterday "inserts puppy dog eyes"

What a fantastic debut for Jacob Chance! I felt this was so so well written for a first book. The story flowed really well and nothing was confusing or transparent throughout the story. The characters were compelling and complex and you could easily get a real sense of their personality.
Kyle is an ex-police officer with a traumatic past. He also suffers daily from chronic pain and depression. He is now a P.I. and notices Janny while monitoring a subject. There is something about her that is special and he can's stop thinking about her. When they run into each other at a local bar, lightning strikes and sparks fly.

"Time freezes when my eyes meet hers for the first time. My tongue is thick in my mouth, my breathing shallow, my heart pounding impossibly fast, as I realize the exact shade of blue her eyes are. The name for the color comes to me in an instant.
Cerulean blue" -Kyle
amandaSeyEyes
"In that moment I forgot all of the things that weigh so heavily on me each and every day. They cease to exist and for those sixty seconds of perfection, I was the Kyle I used to be and not this fucked up version of myself I've been forced to accept for the past three years.
" -Kyle

She becomes the light of hope for him. I really enjoyed experiencing the growth of their relationship. Janny's love for him and support. Kyle's inner turmoil and fears. The struggles and uncertainties he faces... and folks, he really has some serious issues to be concerned about. Their love is beautiful and their sex is HOT!

Very, very well done, Jacob! I cannot wait until the second book, Quiver! Like for reals... Like soon... Come on.

There is a cliffhanger, just FYI for those that like to know :)

5 Provocative & Addictive Stars

With all the hype surrounding Quake, I had high expectations from Jacob Chance. And I was more than pleasantly surprised as this story was remarkable.

It has everything you look for in an outstanding story. Romance, love, hate, fear, chemistry, mystery, suspense, angst and more.

Kyle is one sexy alpha male who has a tonne of baggage he is carrying and Janny is your girl next door who unassumingly falls for Kyle. What will their journey have in store for them?

I love the fact that we get dual POV with Kyle and Janny. I love how an author can give both perspectives of their characters. It adds so much to the depth of the story.

The turns this story takes left me desperate at times with a burning sensation in my chest because I was so anxious about what would happen next. Jacob Chance did not disappoint, as this story totally fascinated me.

The characters are well-developed and the plot flows beautifully throughout the whole story. Each character in the story is so very real. Jacob does an excellent job building each character as the plot thickens. The chemistry between Kyle and Janny is truly exceptional. The build up to their relationship is really quite beautiful.

I am really impressed with Jacob Chance’s writing style and his debut novel. It is really well written and it flows effortlessly. It totally drew me in and absorbed me for a few hours in one sitting. I just couldn’t put this book down. Totally engaging and intriguing.

Quake is provocative and very addictive. It will draw you in and leave you wanting more. An exceptional debut novel by Jacob Chance. Looking forward to Quiver.

This is a definite must read.

Quake is an erotic romance written by a new author, Jacob Chance. You wouldn’t know he’s new to the genre as he slides in smoothly with two characters that grab your attention right from the start and keep you riveted. It’s a sexy, well paced romance from start to end. I like that it hit some of the right buttons for my personal reading tastes – an obsessive, dirty talking MC, some secrets, and an all consuming erotic love story. This isn’t nearly as dark as a number of the books I generally read but there is a rape trigger warning in my tags. If you are readily triggered by that warning maybe think twice about reading Quake. It ends on a cliffy, if that bothers you wait until the second part comes out in September and back-to-back them. I don’t read a lot of het romance anymore but I’m so glad I picked this one up. I’ll be reading more by this author in the future but for now I’m really looking forward to see what happens where Quake left off in Quiver.

For a debut novel this author knows how to capture your attention right at the start. That early glimpses of what to expect had totally caught me off guard. I was especially torn on chapter one on what was happening but at the same time it was getting intensely hot!

This is a story of a private investigator, Kyle McKenzie. Like many of the characters' backgrounds that we read about we usually find that they have experienced some kind of past that tends to hold them back for more; however, as you learn about Kyle's story you cannot help but feel for him, worry for him, and hope positive things for him. He was living a comfortable and easy life for himself until he becomes infatuated with a gorgeous cerulean blue eyed blonde, Janny Moore that he seems to not be able to stay away from.

Although the timeline on some things felt somewhat rush and the age gap being another questionable factor for me; the way it was written surprisingly worked well as the story progressed. Kyle and Janny will suck you in each of their pasts and present lives entailing details that were out of their control, lust filled with steamy encounters, along with secret and lies which more than made up for my qualms. Throw in that cliffy ending that will have you itching for more and needing to know what will happen next because that one had me hurting. Hopefully we get answers sooner rather than later. Hint. Hint. ;)

Felt like I was waiting forever to read Quake. It was so worth the wait!
I loved both Kyle & Janny as characters & their story. Also really liked that when I started reading the book I thought that Kyle & Janny's story was going to go a certain but went in another direction that I wasn't expecting. I enjoyed that majority of the book focused on Kyle & Janny's new relationship with an interesting turn of events closer to the end. I must say that Jacob sure knows how to right a great cliffhanger! Can't wait to find out what's going to happen for Kyle & Janny.

Mind blowing

No words to describe how amazing this book is from start to finish! Kyle from the very beginning is one hot alpha male and janny is his perfect match. Jacob chance although new to this writing thing knows exactly how to get you enraptured into the book and keeps you engaged with the characters. Let's not even get started on the sex scenes in this book I could go on for hours how incredibly hot they are. Looking forward to Quiver.

AMAZING – This book is seriously amazing for a first time Author.
Jacobs writing is extremely professional and he has turned out a book that is not only a fantastic story line, but one that draws you in from start to the end. Some parts are intensely sexually charged and I will warn you that panty changes will be required. But the story itself is amazing and it isn’t all about sex. It is about 2 characters that are so troubled and have found each other.
The main man Kyle, is a complex, broken, gorgeous specimen of dominant maleness, which had me wanting to jump in the book and fix him myself.
Janny – is just a beautiful natured troubled young women, which fascinates Kyle from the get go.
The story is a roller coaster of angst, happiness and tension. Everything you need in this book.
I am now counting the days till Book 2.
