This historic novel is very interesting as it is well described and image-builded for the real hero.

One of the Best historical book I have ever read. Santaji Ghorpade was one of the greatest warrior and Commander of Maratha Army in Rajaram Maharaj's regime. If you want to know what happened after the death of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who fought against the Mughal army, how Marathas had implented their greatest weapon of 'Ganimi Kava' then this is the Best Book you could ever read. .

Apratim aitihasik kadambari! Santaji baba naavache vaadal kay hote he pratyek marathi mansala kalayla have! Ani te kalnyasathi ya pustakala paryay nahi! Kaka Vidhate yanche master piece ahe! Must read! Ganimi kava, yudhachi varnane, raajkaran, leadership, motivation.. khup kahi shiknyasarkhe ahe ya kadambari madhe! Bhasha oghawati, sanyamit, khilwun thevnari ani angawar romanch ubhi karnari ahe! Ekhada picture pahilyache feeling yete pustak vaachtana! Vaachle nasel tar jarur vaacha!

"Santaji by Kaka Vidhate" is a must read book on Santaji Ghorpade in Marathi language! A well researched historical novel! Gripping story telling! You can not put it down once you start reading, it's like you are watching a movie and get amazed to see how these people were so motivated to fight for "Swarajya" when there was no real leader after Sambhaji and no money or resources to fight and even Aurangjeb was frustrated to figure how and what these Marathas are made up of... Author has given total justice to this warrior "Santaji"!!
