Nina's whole paradise seemed to come crashing down when she got that phone call from Sameer. Everyone is losing their minds, trying to figure out what exactly happened to Yazir, but ultimately where he is. Nina is forced to take control and use everything Yazir has taught her, even the things he didn't mean to. With outsiders doing their best to break every couple apart, how will they all move forward? Will they be able to stick it out, making it to the end? Or will this California Hood Romance go down in flames?
My goodness Caroline just went too far with her infatuation with Yazir. She’s so trifling and she got what she deserved. Nina was not playing with Caroline and Nina became a mini me of Yazir. Nina’s mom continued to be jealous and trifling.
Robyn was another one. She got four kids, but trying to be messy and attempting to go after Sameer. One thing with Sameer he is somewhat laid back, but he don’t play and handle that situation expeditiously.
Dasey had his hands full with his baby mama. He thought she was quiet, but she caused havoc for him and Madison. He gave her a lot of passes because she’s the baby mama, but she was very annoying. She was lucky that she didn’t get the same faith as her two trifling brothers. It’s her fault what happened to them because of her pettiness. Madison ex returned and what a joke he was. He thought he was a terror until he met the gang. I was rolling regarding what happened to him.
Yaz my man, you are definitely bae all day very day... You did your thing and you made sure all is well. Nina, beautiful and intelligent, you are good ma, very good indeed. Sameer and Aubrie, too cute just too cute Dasey, well a little bit unorthodox but it worked and so you are lucky, but next time be careful be cause it could have had been worst for Nina and Aubrie and even Madisson. This was a beautiful finale. Everyone got what they deserved except Samantha, she was just too much. Good read, would have love to know what happened to Maya, but it's all good... Another good series MS. Latrice, another good one...
I couldn’t remember anything about this series until I was well over the halfway point which is not good. Once I picked up on what had happened in the others the story started to get a bit interesting but again with little action going to the couples it tended to get boring.
I’m still not sure just how Tremaine came about or what happened with Caroline or even the brothers. Seemed like everyone was just too easy and we didn’t get to see their relationships challenged in a way to see them bond. The story was wrapped up nicely though so overall this was a good read.
Book 3 started off unexpectedly, which made me think it might take a different turn. However, as I kept reading, the story just wasn’t doing it for me. I had hoped this book would bring everything home, but it felt too familiar—like the same story with new characters. I’ve noticed this pattern with this author, and while their writing isn’t bad, it’s becoming too predictable for my taste. I was looking for more depth or a fresh twist, but unfortunately, this one fell flat for me.
And the conclusion was.....great. The last 20% of the book does feel like a giant epilogue and I'm not mad at it. I was glad to read a satifsying end for each character. Even though the beginning of this book dragged a little and seemed to focus a lot on our 3rd couple Dasey and Madison, it was a good wrap-up to the drama and extraness. As always Shvonne Latrice knows how to infuse a good time into some good lines and fire sex into a romance storyline. Got you saying "ahhhh, I wish I could have a hood millionare to sweep me off my feet"

I loved all three parts of the story, I loved the way the each character developed. I just hate that Nina mom was more concern with daughter been unhappy and depending on her. Than being happy. But anyway I glad Nina fine love tho
Really loved this book from 1-3 really hoping for a spin off with the kids you know with certain books you just don’t waffles it to end? Thot one is DEFINITELY one of them really good read
This was an amazing read. I really really enjoyed every second of it. Not too happy with Nina’s mom though. There’s nothing she would be able to say to me to make me excuse her silliness.
Ninas mom is a piece of work whew chile!! I love when an author who knows or lives in my city writes about my city. That Brollyhut reference & Paul Martins om Rosecrans.!! Your fiscriptions on places around LA were on point!!!
Book number 3 was a bit better . I think i just didn’t like any of the female characters at all . I will just say that serie was my least favourite and move on to the next
Now this my dear is how you end a series with a huge FANTASTIC BIG BANG!!!!! Now when we left off with Yazir & Nina part 2 I was hotter than fish grease with us just sitting in limbo wondering if we had lost our beloved Yazir. Of course when book 3 opened I was sitting on pins and needles sending out subliminal eye rolls and daggers to Ms. Latrice to IMPLORE her to make sure that she took us out of our suspense as quickly as possible. I guess my jedhi mind trick powers worked because we soon find that while gravely injured, our boy, Yazir was yet among the land of the living, highly blessed & favored(blame this statement on me being a PK kid that I'm sounding like the first lady of a church in my review LMBO).We immediately see that unfortunately Caroline wasn't on the plane or anywhere in the vicinity so I had to stop my uproarious celebrations and my horrific rendition of "Ding, Dong, the Black Bih is GONE!" Okay, okay I'm going to stop and get serious! I loved to see the maturity of all of the couples Yazir & Nina, Sameer & Aubrie, Dasey & Madison. I was especially relieved to finally see Dasey and Madison take their relationship to the next level. There was the prerequisite drama and what's a Yazir and Nina tale without some killing and busting a bih in her face when she so richly deserves it!! Ms. Shvonne Latrice I've said this before and I will never tire telling you that you huntiii(this is my alter-ego Boonquisha speaking now) are SICKENING, FIERCE, & CONDRAGULATIONS HUNTIII because you hit a homerun out of the park with this series. I love reading what you write. I know that I am going to be swept away on a fictional odyssey that will be so memorable that I don't ever want to leave the wonderland that you create!!!!!
Author Shvonne Latrice pen is on fire she keep putting out five stars series back to back. Yazir and Nina, Sameer and Aubria, and Dacy and Morgan has been through more than their fair share of problems dealing with crazy and deranged ex girlfriends and ex boyfriends along with having to put up with Nina jealous Mother and Yazir jealous Drug Dealer Connect who willing to do anything to take Yazir from Nina. This last installment kept me totally captivated from beginning to end there was so much action and suspense and along with some humor thrown in that I hated to see this series end. I recommend not only this series by this Author but all of her series you will be well entertained without a doubt.
This series is lit. I’m glad all my babies came out on top. And I enjoyed reading ur books. Nina mom missed out on a lot cause she was so hateful to her daughter husband and he saved her ass but hey she can be miserable by herself. U did it again on yet another book. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
Another Good read by this author I just love her work. Nina done messed around and was becoming Yaz all the way. I'm glad that Caroline got what she got and I'm happy that Robyn got the hint and got out of dodge quick. I'm happy that everyone well almost everyone got their HEA. A nice way to end the series.
I'm happy they all had a happy ending. Everyone got just what they were looking for. Despite all the trouble that can their way each relationship soared. I'm glad Dasey didn't have to get rid of his baby mama. I can't believe that Nina's mom never got her s*** together. That lady was plain crazy.
The author had me laughing in a lot of scenes . Yazir's character was so on point in many ways. He displayed a lot of strong traits of an effective leader. Nina was the perfect mate for him. I fell in love with this happy couple. The mystery and drama had me at the first chapter. Great Read!
Great series from beginning to end. Really hated to see it come to an end. I'm happy everyone was able to have their happy ending, even though I hopes lani got killed lol. You did an amazing job. Maybe we could get a spin off with the kids
This series was all that and some! My kind of ending to a good hood book. I think your writing skills are the bomb and keep the books coming because I can't wait for the next hot series.
you never disappoint. I love all the couples and their stories. I do wish that Lani's baby want his butt I'm glad everyone became mature worked things out.
This series was so good with all the twist and turns but I'm happy about the outcome. Yazi, Sameer and Casey is bae all day. Behind every hood man they need a strong woman.
I truly enjoyed this series so much. What got me is Caroline, how you going crazy over a man that never touched you at all smh. Great series and I'm glad everything was good in the end.
I really enjoyed reading this book drama action Intense page turner every page story was well written. Couples was we!! Paired there was funny moment execelly ending!
I enjoyed all 3 series of Yazir & Nina: A California Hood Romance but this book was the best because all three couples got their happily ever after ending.
