Rate this book
Red is now an agent for Supernatural Crimes and Regulations, and on the hunt. She's also on the run from the deadly sexy Vampire Felix. He's been searching for her for nearly two years, and Red is still not ready to face him. But Red's hunt for Ambrose has stalled. Now she's on a new mission. Teamed up with another agent that is all kinds of delicious, the darling of the agency, a half-breed Witch and wolf. He is a hunter too. But Vampires are turning up dead, covered in runes, stinking of the arcane. Red and Julian are racing against the clock to find the culprits. They must halt another murder, and prevent an ancient ritual. The heat in Seattle is rising as age old hostility between Witches and their fanged counterparts begins to escalate. Now the city has a new order emerging; if you want to get anywhere in Seattle, show your teeth.

About the author

Cara Villar

3 books8 followers
Cara Villar started writing in her mid-teens, and though those stories were those of a high-strung young girl, it sparked a life-long dream to write something the world would enjoy. Now, over a decade later, she’s an avid writer, reader, and artist, masquerading by day as a paper-shuffler in an office, but is hoping her dream will become center-stage in her career. Cara was born in Devon, England, a decidedly hilly location, but now lives in Hampshire in the UK, a stunningly FLAT county, with her two border collies – who keep her on her feet the moment she leaves her computer – Toby and Charlie.

Wow. What a tear jerkier. That being said, this book in the series headed the way i would have imagined for the most part. Come the end as you sit dumbfounded, teary eyed, and struck stupid by one tiny turn of events. This series will not disappoint ( unless you are a grammar nazi.) Run out and jump on the red journal train.

All I can say is that this author is seriously underrated.

Other than the spelling errors, I really loved this story.

Hopefully, this author will crank out another quality read, because IMO, she writes from the soul.
