Great final book to the Cassano Series. I think one of my favorite parts were all of the different POV's throughout the entire series. The entire series is full of suspense and angst I kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the multiple love stories about each and every one of the Cassano siblings and seeing everyone receive their happily ever after was the icing on the cake!!! Very well written!!

This was an absolutely brilliant ending to the series! This book is an absolute gem! The Cassano brothers are so freaking SEXY! And funny! And adorable in the HOTTEST way!!! In Checkmate, the Cassano’s sister, Aggie, moves from New Jersey to Las Vegas, and now she is ready to date again—not just one man, but she has two admirers who are interested in her. Which one would Aggie chose? She finally finds love—I was really happy for her since she stayed home to take care of their mother all of her adult life. I loved Kruse—he was such an alpha male with Aggie, but he knows not to exert his alpha maleness with the Cassano brothers. The FBI still has the Cassano brothers under their radar. Since Noah Sanders is now dead (hurrah!), the FBI wants more information from the Cassano family. A female FBI agent meets with Theo, with his charisma. Will Theo be able to charm the FBI agent in getting information he needs to exonerate the Cassano family? Wow! I was not expecting the turn this series just took, it has quite a few unexpected surprises and a spectacular conclusion with some happy announcements, adding a touch of flair and depth. Again, Scarlet has put a lot of emotions, intrigue, suspense, sadness, and let’s not forget the hot steamy sex between the brothers and their women (Victoria, Tara, and Sadie) in this book. If you like your romance with a dose of sweetness, a dab of the erotic and a pinch of fun, you will love CHECKMATE. Snatch up this series today!!

CHECKMATE seamlessly & beautifully concludes The Cassano Series!!! I'm only sad that I have to say goodbye.

Victoria & Adrian finally got their happy ending!
Simon & Sadie are having a baby and so are Kruse & Aggie too!!
Zev & Tara are finally solid!!!

I've absolutely loved reading about these characters and seeing them grow through loving each other! There are really no words for how much I loved this series! I hope you get to read it because it is truly exceptional!

Breathtaking

I love the Cassano brothers story and all the craziness that occompanied. I do feel the last few chapters were a bit rushed but the whole story laid out well.

I would like to know what happens to Theo and Kim so maybe one more?

Honestly went into this one right away from the end of the fourth one eager still with drool wanting a answer to a important question, but several pages in became alittle sad also because this could very well be the last time we meet. This is also not your typical HEA book because these were not your typical characters who by now are so alive out of the pages they can take over any day. Sister will not be left out of this one either with only bits but she will have you drooling too because she will have come to life squeezing and hugging and kissing as it goes. Drama will not escape them quite yet because what they thought was a done deal is still twisting in the wind but with a bit of icing on the cake. The big cheese will also come out of the closet on who really is going down that you will be given that unexpected twist that will bunch you up. This one is done up right with it still immersing you to the point you will not get any air until the last scream is heard in ecstasy from all who live within. Beware though one hellious book coma will be found that you will receive from this one.

Absolutely loved Checkmate! The final book in the series ended so beautifully! All the Cassano siblings were able to have their HEA! I loved how Scarlet made a point of giving everyone each their own story as well as tying them altogether. From Adrian and Victoria getting what they have been working towards to the newest storyline of Aggie finding love with Kruse this series has by far been one of my favorites! Though it was a little sad to not see Theo find his own HEA after his heartbreak from his split from Karen you are left with the feeling that he will find his own happy ending soon! With his brothers and sister all finding theirs it bound to happen as l him. The story as a whole has just enough drama and romance with a little suspense thrown in to keep it interesting the whole way through. I look forward to reading more of Scarlet's books!

Brilliant ending to a brilliant series!
As with the other four books, Scarlet had me on the edge of my seat right up until the last minute. It was full of intrigue, lust, romance and hot hot sex. Those Cassano boys, and Aggie, sure know how to steam things up.
I loved catching up with the boys again but I think Aggie gave them a run for their money, I thought she was sweet and innocent but shes a total ball buster who know how to handle, not only her brothers but also the opposite sex. It was great getting a solid conclusion to all of their individual stories
I cannot wait to see what Ms Wolfe comes up with next

I am sad to say goodbye to the Cassano Brothers. Adrian, Simon, Theo and Zev have always wanted revenge for their fathers death, but in getting it they find the one woman for each that complete them. In Checkmate we get to know their sister Aggie better and watch her bring down big bad Kruse in a love that bonds them. Trouble is still lurking. The brothers are still in the FBI Radar. Can they finally put it all behind them and find the happiness they all deserve and want. If you like Big, Sexy Alpha Males and the women that can bring them to their knee with a smile well this is the series for you.

Wow wow wow. What an ending to a fabulous series!!!! I'm sad that it's over and we have to say goodbye to the Cassano brothers and their other halves!!! This was absolutely one of the best seriese I've ever read and will forever remember these characters!!!! This book was full of angst and happiness and some tears!!!!! But I'm soooooo happy on how everything turned out for the Cassano brothers and sister!!!! Thank you Scarlet for sharing there stories with us and giving us yet another phenomenal book by you!!!!!

O M G what an ah-mazing ending to one of the best series out there! Scarlet did a fantastic job blending everyone's story and their endings. As always, there was just the right amount of romance, angst, suspense, and, of course, that hot hot sex the alpha Cassano men are famous for. While I was sad to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters, I'm happy for the way Scarlet let us say goodbye.
