Too brief

The book was rather disapointment. I have never seen other book to scrach any topic so little. Basically the book just informed that several things (like risk management) exis without going to any detail. Would not suggest to anyone who has access to wikipedia.

Didn't get anything out of this. Find it not very well written, not very informative.

A good basic overview on project management. Projects are generally handled quite differently in different firms. For instance the heavy analysis of whether a project will be profitable is done by specialist product managers at my firm, so by the time something is declared a project it's assumed we are at least going to have a run at the first phase of technology definition.

Likewise the heavy analysis of the project at the end is not tackled in quite the same way at my firm as in the book. There is also very little reference to the modern agile project environment.

But I did like the section of risk and risk management. There were many useful tips all through the book.
