4 lil' Bit of Goodness Stars

"He really is broody. It used to be hot and exciting, you know? Back when we were in college, and he was all mysterious and my parents thought he was on drugs."

This mini story is the perfect mix of longtime friends in lust and sheer awesomeness. Grace and Heath managed to squeeze their righteous tale into 60 virtual pages and for that I'm forever grateful.

Another great Bite-Sized Romance from Veronica Larsen. After reading You and Me, I couldn't wait to read Heath and Grace's story. This friends to lovers story did not fail. Heath and Grace are really good friends. They do a lot of things together because, well...they just get each other. Heath is finally realizing he has feelings for Grace, but she has a boyfriend. Deciding it would be awful if he didn't tell her, Heath admits to his feelings while they are strolling along a path in the woods. (There's also a funny snake scene here.) Now it's up to Grace to decide who she wants to be with.



I really hope there's another book for Delilah. I can't wait to see the man that falls for her.

I have to say, these bitesize romances are proving to be quite the amuse-bouche of reads. In 50 pages Veronica Larsen serves up all the perfect ingredients for a friends to lovers romance. It’s packed full of laugh-out-loud humour, a generous helping of banter, all accompanied by a side of anticipatory spice.

In essence it’s a story of when the love and friendship collide. The bonus is it’s told through the hilarious mind of Veronica, whose personality is the driving force behind this quirky, adorable and unputdownable read.

4.5 -short and funny- Stars

What I expected from this book was the ol' favourite: OTT-Alpha-Mine-Smutty short-filler story, complete with underdeveloped characters and overdeveloped cocks. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally all over those short smutty books like an STD - especially when I'm inbetween heavier reads - however, this one was not like that and was sooo pleasantly refreshing instead!

It was a wonderful surprise to discover that for such a short 117 page story, this was really well written, hilariously funny and super cute to boot! Did I mention it was hilariously funny?

The MC's, secondary characters and situations all had me cracking up laughing, but there were also those sweet moments in this book that made me go awww. The H was more of a bumbly, cutie-patootie as opposed to Mr Alpha Caveman Gazillionaire but he gave great chase and his sense of humour and sweet personality was my breath of fresh air.


HIGHLY recommended for those looking for a short, sweet and lighthearted read with lots of easy humour, banter and loveable characters. No instalove/lust or OTT caveman moments. Just a great friends to lovers story that's as good as you're gonna get for 117 pages.

Dual POV and standalone story in a series. I haven't read any of the others in this series and didn't feel lost at any stage. Has a bonus epilogue chapter at the end but really... I kinda need more. Will definitely read the others in this series and check out the authors other books.

Breve, ligero, sencillo, sin relleno innecesario y muy muy gracioso.

Al igual que el primer libro de esta saga lo lei en un suspiro, particularmente porque tiene pocos capitulos y estos a su vez son sumamente cortos, lo que hace que inhales la historia sin darte cuenta.

Heath y Grace son una pareja hilarante que juntos se complementa de una forma muy buena, como me ocurrio con la novela de Samantha y Jackson me supo a poco, pero de igual forma agradezco que no sea excesivamente larga, creo que eso la hace muy refrescante.

En definitiva, Him Or Me es una lectura que aconsejo mucho, te la leeras en nada de tiempo y te dejara con muy buen sabor de boca.

P. D. : Ojala la autora se anime y escriba un libro sobre Delilah, creo que seria muy muy animado.

This was a really sweet friends to more type romance. I really loved this super quick and fun story! Even though this was only about 60 pages, I adored these characters! Very sweet, very funny and it even has a little steam! The perfect short book for anyone who is looking for a quick story!

A bite-sized sweet romance that hits the spot!!! So if you are a fan of best friends to lover romance trope then this book is for you. Veronica Larsen wrote a simple love story where one friend is madly in love with his best friend and is just waiting for the other person to finally take notice and see him. Since this story is such a quick light read, it was only a matter of time till the right guy wins the girl. So if you are looking for a romance that will make you smile then I suggest you to take a bite of this cute love story between two zombie loving best friends.

My thoughts:
This was a super quick & enjoyable read. What I really liked was that even though this book was short, it felt complete. Overall it was a well rounded book without any major angst and drama. Also I really enjoyed the funny banter between the characters. I will definitely read the rest of this series and more from this author in the future.

Book at a glance:
This is a friends to lovers story where the H & h are best friends. This book is stand alone with characters featured in the previous book. Even though this is the second book in the series, I had not read book 1 prior to starting this book & I did not feel lost.

Safety rating:
Safe w/exceptions: No OW drama & no mention of H's dating history. h has a long time boyfriend who proposes which finally forces H to admit his feelings. No detailed sex scenes with OW or even with h's boyfriend since he "hasn't touched her in weeks". The H kisses h when he admits his feelings to her while she is still in a relationship. So some readers might feel like the h cheated on her boyfriend with the kiss but nothing beyond that one kiss happens while h is with her boyfriend. For me, everything is resolved so fast that I was not bothered by either characters actions. Mildly steamy rating with a sweet HFN ending.

Enjoying these bite sized romances. It's like fun sized candy bars you can't help gobble up. Cute story and yes I expected some angst based on the best friend but she has a boyfriend blurb. One really awww Love actually like moment that made me melt. I want the next one :)

Okay. I have mad love for Veronica Larsen and her books. These bite-size romances are killing me.

In a good way.

I really enjoyed the first, but Him or Me? I LOVED IT. Even back in You and Me, I wanted more Grace and Heath. I felt something was "there." Thankfully, Ms. Larsen didn't let me down.

This story starts with a bang and continues to get better. I loved their interactions. Their humor and banter had me laughing to myself at 5am when I should've been asleep. But don't fool yourself. This isn't just a boring, typical romance. It's freaking adorable and filled with just the right amount and type of drama to keep you intrigued.

And Heath? Move over, Jackson! The brother is HOT. And yeah, I kinda sorta like him a bit more than you. Just a tad. But you're both great. But he wins because he did the sweetest thing EVER. Adorable.

Honestly, I think this series shows just how talented this author is. She compiles every aspect of a romance into a super short story. The characters are fleshed out. The plot moves swiftly and efficiently. It's perfectly satisfying. And even though it's complete, you can't help but want more. I rarely say this about contemporary romance books these days, but I could read about these characters forever. And full-length books, too! If I had to nitpick and file a complaint about the series, that's what it would be. Give me more.

Veronica Larsen's bitesize romances are PERFECT, sexy, fun summer reads that warm the heart and give readers a chance to escape with a seriously swoony romance.

Him or Me is written incredibly well. A lot of small books don't fully allow the reader to connect but Veronica has made these books and characters so loveable that they are hard not to connect to.

I love the fact that this one could definitely go somewhere, I really, DESPERATELY want to read more about Heath & Grace!!

‎Holy fish, this snack sized book is the funniest novella I’ve read in a long time! I’ll admit it, I picked Him or Me because I wanted to boost my reading challenge numbers. I’m also a sucker for friends to lovers (way more than enemies to lovers, which honestly started getting boring), but I did not expect this book to be THAT good. The humor had me laughing while sipping my iced coffee. Heath is your classic golden retriever type who runs his mouth every chance he gets.

‎But this story isn’t your typical love triangle teen meltdown. And yes, technically, Heath is the other man, but it’s not messy or gross. It’s more like “he rescued her from a doomed relationship.” Plus, Grace’s boyfriend is an absolute ass. You’ll root for them. You’ll take Heath’s side. You’ll laugh, especially at the snake scene.

Although this wonderful novella is a standalone, we were first introduced to Heath in YOU AND ME which feature Jackson and Samantha's love story. He's Jackson's not-so-serious but very hot brother. Grace is Samantha's friend and room mate. Grace and Heath are comfortable buddies and like a lot of things in common. But Heath has secret feelings for Grace and she has a boyfriend. When things were about to get more serious with Grace and William (the BF), Heath took the risk and opened his heart. But the truth was, she had already chosen who really made her happy. So she followed her bliss.

HIM OR ME is a deliciously sweet and sexy bite-sized standalone romance with a best friends to lovers trope. I truly enjoyed this quick read. Heath and Grace were so adorable and their story is relatable to a lot of readers. Their "wars of opportunity" were so witty and entertaining. And this book had one of the cutest "Choose Me" proposals ever. Also, I wanna try that insta-napper. I think I need it in my life. Lol

I enjoyed HIM OR ME as much as I enjoyed the first one, YOU AND ME. I'm so excited for what's next. I hope Delilah will have her story next.

Him or Me by Veronica Larsen was another short but fully packed story about falling for the best friend. The story centers around Grace and Heath they are best friends, they laugh hard together and enjoy being around one another like no one else. Heath finally finds the courage to lay it all out for Grace after he is shocked by a proposal coming from someone else. How will Grace react after Heath puts his heart on the line? Yes you will have to read it to see how it all unfolds. I love these types of stories. Sweet and sexy rolled into one bite size book. The perfect summer read while getting sun by the pool. Veronica has a way of putting a lot of character build up in such a short story that you don't miss anything. All you are left with is wanting more. I felt that with Him or Me, I didn't want to story to end but I'm looking forward to what Veronica has in store for me next. Him or Me is a fun sexy story that I highly recommend. I was given this ARC for my honest opinion.

This was such a cute story! I honestly don't know which Bite-Sized Romance I like better. There were many laughs that made me want to laugh out loud. Especially when they talked about The Walking Dead. HUGE Walking Dead fan right here. I'm a sucker for best friends turned lovers story so I was anxious to read this one. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters and their friends were pretty entertaining too. I can't wait for Veronica's next book now!

This was a continuation of the last “bite-size” romance I read. You could read it as a stand-alone, however, it features the same characters from the first book, but this time the main characters of ‘You and Me’ are the background characters of this book (and vice-versa). Now that I’ve read both I can say that I think this would be a cute ‘rom-com’ similar to The Holiday where it has 2 separate storylines and romances yet they are intwined. Do these books blow me away? No. However they are cute and fun reads, perfect for that short attention span that happens to me during the summer months.

really my only complaint is that i would've loved for it to have been longer, simply because Heath and Grace are so endearing, and so funny, and i can't even complain about that because it's literally a bite-sized romance. but god this was cute and sweet and so easy to devour.
