Bonus Book 0: The Shadow - Azek Lamanton is the famed captain of the guard who serves in the Taron army. Brave, unwavering in his devotion to the queen, his courage knows no bounds. But it was not always so. Every story must begin somewhere, but some beginnings are darker than others.
The Shadow is a prequel to the Legend of the Gate Keeper series. Although this installment features the early years of one of the main characters in the series, it is a standalone, and can be enjoyed with no prior knowledge of the series.
Book 1: Land of Shadows - Our story begins here. A blacksmith from the small town of Bryer, Eric believed he would live out his days leading a peaceful life doing the work he loved. But it seems fate had other plans for him. When his home town is attacked, Eric is uprooted from his familiar surroundings and forced to embark on a journey for answers. Only one thing is certain to him now. It's painfully clear that his whole life has been nothing more than a series of lies.
Book 2: Siege of Night - Whispers of the Gate Keepers return rage through Tarmerria like a forest fire. Could it be true? Has this mystical figure actually returned? Some have embraced the idea while others want to see Eric dead. Lines have been drawn, sides have been taken. There is only one way to stand for what you believe in. Tarmerria must go to war.
Book 3: Lost Empire - The war is over and the city of Taron is still recovering from one of the darkest days in its history. With one battle over, another is about to begin. Our heroes must leave their familiar lands to embark on a journey by sea, far away from Tarmerria.
Book 4: Reborn - Is the Gate Keeper some sort of demon? The people of this new land seem to think so. For years they have been tormented by a being with abilities similar to Eric's. So how is this foreigner who washed up on their shores any different? The Gate Keeper must prove himself and transform before their very eyes. In the eyes of the Gods and in those of the people, he must be...reborn.
Book 5: The Trials of Ashbarn - The world has seen what Eric can do. Is this the one man who can take down the demon Krytoes? He has proven himself to the mortals, but must now establish himself in the eyes of the Gods themselves. Let the trials begin.
Book 6: End of Days - The Gate Keeper has been named...
The prophesies have come true...
The world as we know it will never be the same...
End of Days is the exciting conclusion to "The Legend of the Gate Keeper" series. Join Eric and his friends as they make their final push against the forces of evil.

Long, complex,Worth the Read
The books describe a complex and well developed world with well developed characters whom the reader bonds with. The main story line is well developed and is evident throughout all the books in the series even though there numerous subplots to contend with in the books. The authors writing is very descriptive and easy to read although at times it was unnecessarily too detailed. The constant action in the books certainly keep the readers attention.

A disturbing rape, ENDLESS overly described fights
The whole novel plot could have got on 10 pages. After awhile, I found myself flipping through page after page of description just to get to some part of the actual story. When the next part started with more ENDLESS description, I just sighed and quit. I want lose myself in a story. Not a description out of someone else's imagination.
And the rape scene? I didn't see the point of it. It was just disgusting.

Gate Keeper
This is a very good story of good verses evil. Though some aspects were taken from other works like the Lord of the Rings. I loved all of the characters. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Very well written, however, it needs to be proof read again. Other than that I recommend this series.

Not bad could have easily been great
Overall plot and story are really good. Big holes in key background elements that could made the story to have more depth. Also it sort felt that the author was struggling with how advance the different storylines in the last few books and rushed the story to an ending but leaving so much behind.

Not bad, needs serious editing!
Not a bad read overall. Some of the plot devices are old and a little cliché. These ebooks need some serious editing. Spell check can only catch misspelled words, not replace improper words.

Hurried and incomplete ending
Enjoyed the series but ending felt rushed, too much left incomplete. What happened to Asami ?Nima and Ashomi? Did the crytons return to the forest or integrate? The Shangti ?

Excellent series
Full of magic, battles & friendship that spans a journey to hell & back. Interesting characters, rich dynamic relationships & good triumphing over evil. Read this series!

Great story
The story itself is amazing. Took me a bit longer to read because there are countless editing errors. Felt almost like it was typed on a phone a times and was auto corrected then spellchecked.

Loved this series. Long as it was, I enjoyed every book. Some parts, as is usual in long series, could have been reduced or simply not written, but all in all, it was an interesting, entertaining story (ies). I will check about the work of this author.

I have just finished this epic fantasy and have to say it was amazing.
As I read each part, I posted a review individually because each story deserved it.
For this review, I will be brief and say that although it is a marathon read, it is worth it because it is packed with action, has wonderful descriptions that give a brilliant sense of place, and a cast of incredible characters (both good and bad), which together make this a compelling read. If you read one, you will definitely want them all.
A perfect complex story with twists, turns and surprises.
Highly recommended to lovers of great fantasy.

A riveting story of morality, friendship and love against a background of evil and war. I couldn't put it down and read into the wee hour of the morning.
