Drarry 8th year set in a semi-AU in which Snape lived and Draco had switched sides before the end of the war, but most of the rest of it all went the same.

The clearly non-native English verb tenses did get tiring, but the ideas here had me captivated. The potion Draco unintentionally takes which gives him the ability to see lies is just one of the adventures happening here. There's also a new villain after Harry for interesting reasons. So much of this felt so fresh, it was interesting to read.

Some Favorite Quotes:
So, as Draco looked and marveled at the boy on the chair beside his bed, sleeping peacefully with his head and arms on the mattress, he remembered just why exactly he couldn't have fallen in love with Pansy Parkinson no matter which way you turn the world over.
Pansy wasn't Harry Potter.

Snape scoffed. "I make hundreds of children's lives miserable each day. My Slytherin dignity is hardly at risk."

He missed that feeling. Holding on to the Snitch and having everyone cheer for you.
But not enough.

To be so dependent on the surety that the other cannot lie, instead of being dependent on the trust that the other
will not lie.

3.5-3.9* Amazing 8th year Drarry with suspense and romance mix
I really like this authors writing style, it is what I look for in fanfics.
She definitely is in my top Drarry authors because she writes perfect emotionally suffering and physically injured Draco. I love how her Draco is insecure, goes on guilty trips, usually gets injured or physically affected (here the blood vomiting side effect). Well, her Drarry is sweet which I can enjoy, but here I wouldnt mind if the sweet Drarry moments were a little bit reduced or if the intensity of such moments were lowered, or if certain moments would potentionally lead to love making (which never happened her). There were moments when I felt that the couple was too sweet, but may be the problem lies in me as I might enjoy more the time before they get together. I dont know, after Draco and Harry got together, they became perfect couple, and I felt that I missed some kind of excitement that the uncertainty that they felt before provided.
I was also more focused on the suspense and action of the story, because their date before the final arc felt like a little dragging, I wanted to read about them finding the bad guy, but they were enjoying themselves in snow instead. Yes, it was sweet, but hindrance for my impatience.

First 60 pages impressed me, I was excited with Draco´s new ability and condition, with Harrys accidents and I wanted to slowly enjoy the story and then I started to read the fanfic in many pages in a few instances and may be it wasnt the right move. I really enjoyed the part when they had to get back from the room with that special Mirror, it was exciting, Draco sacrificing himself during chess was OMG, hell yeah. I was really agitated and felt that the story was building some tension and expectations for the epic final hunting for the bad guy. I dont know, the catch-bad-guy part wasnt bad at all, but it didnt meet my expectations. The built excitement and tension was subdued as time went. :/ I think that if the story was shorter, I might have liked it more, because I wanted to give 5* at the beginning, but the enjoyment at the beginning wasnt the same as when we hit the second part of the story. (Btw, Harry and Draco got together in the half of the story.)

On the other hand I was glad that Draco´s special skill gained by that poition disappeared in the end, it felt fully wrapped. Too bad that he couldnt use it for his investigation.
Btw, I wouldnt guess that the story would be so exciting based on the summary. If I didnt read other fics from this author, I would just skip over the story, because I wouldnt expect much from the summary. Anyway, I really recommend this story.
Blaise and Neville pair was cute, Remus and Severus was great and I loved their epilogues.

I was introduced to this beauty by my amazing friend.

i am so thankful she suggested this to me.

I was not expecting to like this.

but boy , i was wrong , again.

The characters ( harry and draco ) are ughhhhhh ( i cant find the right words for them) lets say i have fallen in love with them. i can have them both please.

i was reading White lies at work and guyssss i have to warn you , don't read it at work , coz you will be experiencing mix of emotions and you might sequel of how adorable both Harry and Draco are ( especially the later !!!!)

also there are parts were you will feel bad for both of them.

also , i kept screaming ' shut up !!! he loves you!!!!!" and i kept taking a moment to absorb what happen once in a while.

i really want them to make a movie out of this.

and i must confess : when i finished reading it , i felt so empty , i had to look for anything related to them . so i searched for fan made videos of them , and man i was not disappointed.

but the emptiness was sill there ( three - four days .. and till now )

so i decided to re read it , again.

yep , i can say i am obsessed.

I really liked this story! Drarry is amazing, and *everyone* is gay^^ and it’s just great.

The thing that did bother me were the grammatical errors that littered the story, which is really unfortunate because everything else is awesome: the innuendos, the story itself and all the plots and plot twists, and the writing style as well!
