The review
For a relatively short book, I found this quite heartfelt. This is definitely a good standalone read. From what I've seen this will be part a a larger series and so far each one I've read can be read as a standalone, although I feel they will reference past characters, etc. This is a super cute small novel leading up to For Rent. I love how Erin lead up to her second book in such a cute and heartfelt way. These are definitely cozy read novels and I loved curling up to it with my cup of coffee on a rainy day. So far from the novels I've read, I have loved each character and what they brought to the table. Each one brings you so many different emotions. The plot was exquisite for a cozy read and the writing was captivating! I cant wait to see what else Erin brings us in this series. 4 stars from me! Thank you Erin Huss and LibraryThing for this lovely read.
Thanks to the author and librarything for this advanced copy of the book. This is a short story introduction for the author's full novel coming out this year. I loved it! Cambria is amazing and I feel she is so relatable in her struggles to find a job and be a single mother. It will be nice to read the full story and see how she develops, as well as seeing the other characters develop and become important to Cambria's journey.
I love this funny, fast-paced read! I've had many crazy jobs (and job interviews) myself, so it was enjoyable reading about Cambria's wild tales. Someone give this woman a job already!

Cambria needs a job fast or she's going to find herself and her child homeless. After endless job interviews and no job offers she finds herself I interviewing for the positions of apartment manage. What Cambria doesn't know is that once she accepts the job as apartment manager she has just got her ticket into crazy town.
I received a copy for an honest review. This book is too funny and allows the reader to understand the characters in For Rent. I was laughing at all the characters especially Joyce. We can now understand her need to leave her position as apartment manager. Ms. Huss is a great writer that infuses laughter, wittiness, and overall good fun into her books. A quick, easy, fun read.
This was a great teaser to pave the way for FOR RENT, which fortunately is waiting in my Kindle. Cambria and Joyce are likable and relatable characters and easy to become invested in.
