Every ending leads to a new beginning.

Doing the right thing never felt so wrong.
Ellie Martin's time covering Dream Defiled's tour gets a lot more complicated once Matthew is gone.
Using her inner strength and ambition, she charts a course that can make her dreams come true, all on her own. But as she's grown and changed, her dreams have too.

When the embattled band is reunited and crucial truths are revealed, things will never be the same.
Endings and beginnings can look the same depending on how you look at it.
As life-changing choices are made, years of work, fun, laughter and tears all comes down to this, in book #12, the FINAL book, of the Rocked series.

*Notes:*
"Rocked Down and Out" is the last book in a set of three serialized stories, featuring Matthew and Ellie's romance.
This set is part of a larger 12 book series featuring the members of the rock band, Dream Defiled.
While it is not necessary to read the other books in the series - please consider doing so. You'll learn about the other band members - Joe, the charismatic front man, Dex, the gregarious Brit, and Rick, the gruff drummer, and even more about Matthew, the heart of the group. You'll see how these members' earlier lives, experiences, their personalities, and choices impact the band's dynamics, and develop this tale of a group of hard working, talented friends who find love, and achieve their dreams, with all the triumphs and tragedies that ensue. All of the books are honestly good, sexy fun!
Length: 24,000 words.

Well I am sad and happy all at once that this is the end. Happy because I got to see all the HEA's but sad because I really love the characters in this series.
They have grown so much from the first book, even Rick...lol, and it's sad to see it end.
I highly recommend this series...I have loved every second of reading this whole series.

This was a good, strong finish to what turned out to be an interesting series to read. I found the first 3 books to be a bit too fairy-tale romance and while I really liked Joe and Liss' characters....it was not as well written as the other 3 couples stories. I almost did not go ahead...but I am so glad I did because when I look at the Rocked series as a total project - I truly enjoyed it. The strongest point being is how different each band member was and how different each of the female leads were as well. I never felt like I was reading the same story over again.

I would have enjoyed a bit more character development/longer story and there were some scenes that I felt were rushed over while some of the sex scenes seemed to go on too long...nothing against the steam as long as the story is there too.

I still don't like the serial/short novella concept and will likely avoid reading anything else like that because I feel it takes you out of the game (I hate cliffhangers too!), but really feel this was a well told story and interesting view of the music scene.

ENDINGS CAN BE BEGINNINGS

Matthew is back in more ways than one! Ellie runs into him, literally, and their attraction takes over in a wild session of kisses and touches. But Ellie comes back to earth and gives him a tongue lashing, but not the good kind! Matthew starts to say something but Ellie runs off. Ellie isn't done however and when she barges into Matthew ' s room, all hell breaks loose. Oh, and there is a quick wedding!

Sad to hear this is the final Rocker book from Clara. It has been a fun ride!

YESSSSS! All the Defiled Dreamers get their HEAs. This series has been a journey of ups and downs. You spend every moment living their lives right along with them. I felt like the proverbial groupie watching everything. Their career decisions, their personal and romantic lives. I loved the surprise wedding in here. It was exactly what needed to happen for that couple.

Ellie finally comes into her own, making her mark in the entertainment news industry. Thank goodness Matt grows a brain even though I still think he's a bit of a jerk in spite of being the good guy of the band. Man, do his communication skills suck! But all's well that ends well and this book really did end with me saying WELL! A good ending for this series ;oD

I love this series so deeply and have since first book so to see it end is quite sad and I will miss the guys and their girls.

This last book is amazingly written and it's filled with intense emotions that will draw you in and leave you aching. On top of that it is the perfect ending to this perfect and sweet Rockstar series <3

Since the beginning I was always intrigued by the quiet one, Matthew. I just loved that this was finally his time. This book had everything I expect from Clara Bayard-a great story, fabulous characters, and awesome female strength.
