From bestselling author Meg Jackson...

Damon was supposed to be the rock. The strongest link in the chain. The stable one. He hadn’t been fulfilling that role, but the fight in Miami would change all that.

Damon Volanis has been keeping a secret from his family for twenty years. A secret so dark and scarring that it determined the whole shape of his life. It's the reason he started fighting, the driving force that has kept him searching for something – desperate to put his soul to rest. Finally, a year after the gypsies arrived in Kingdom, the chance to redeem himself and bury his secret for good has come along. One last fight.

Tricia isn't sure she's ready to return to Kingdom, so when Damon offers her a chance to escape it all for a few more weeks, she takes it, even though it's the craziest thing she's ever done.

He needs the chance to fix what was broken. She needs the chance to settle her soul.

Tricia hasnt had the best of luck with men, and has been kidnapped in her past as well.. So she goes away and doesnt tell any of her close friends where she has gone after being rescued. Needing to somewhat heal and move on with her life, until one day she does go home, and things just dont feel right, she doesnt feel as if it is home, not yet anyway. Damon is living with a horrible dark secret that he has never revealed to anyone, but his time has come a moment he has waited his whole life for, and that is to fight the one man who made him hold this secret for over 20 years.

What I enjoyed most about Damon is watching a Man fight for what he believes in, even if it can be dangerous, he feels he somehow needs to make what happened 20 years ago right. A family that is there for him and do whatever it takes to find both Damon and Tricia when they both just up and leave without a clue as to where they are headed. Damon and Tricia falling in love with each other and finally feeling home when together, helping each other with their demons of their pasts.

Another amazing Meg Jackson story. It was a fast entertaining read that I couldnt put down. This story is about gypsies, but not the bad kind the good kind but can turn bad if something bad happens to someone within their family or a loved one, a man with a past that he needs to put to rest by taking a road trip to Florida and inviting a woman along that he has only meet once but has saved in the past, a story of falling in love, with lots of action added to keep you on the edge of your seat. If you enjoy stories like this, then Damon is a must!!

This one was 100% my fave in the trilogy. I loved Damon and Tricia's character. I loved how the balanced each other out and how they each brought something out of the other. Damon is a bit of a hard shell and more stern/the stable one but he is filled with wisdom and a lot of love. He is actually a major sweetie and a man who will protect those who need it. Tricia is a fun and joyous but the memories of what happened to her changed her a bit. She wants to let go and be free of the haunting past. She is loyal and can put Damon is his place when it is needed. I love how outspoken she is with him and how she made sure she trusted him before giving her heart to him. Their story was pretty intense and more story driven which I loved since they had a lot to work through.

Plot:
Now we follow Damon, the middle Volanis brother, and Tricia, Ricky and Kim's friend. This story starts out a few months after the events of Cristov's story. The Steel Dragons appear to be gone. But ar they really? The traitor is gone. Or is he being held captive? Damon and Tricia met after the Steel Dragons held her captive to get to the brother and they saved her especially Damon who did something that will follow him forever. Tricia had to go into witness protection while the bikers were on trial and Damon's relationship with his family was a little strained due to some hidden secrets. When Tricia comes back to life in her small town she feels too much like an outsider. Damon is on his way to Florida to settle something that has been haunting him since a child and has left him feeling separate from his family and clan. As he is heading out, Tricia goes to meet him and ends up going on an unplanned trip to Florida with a man who saved her life. But when they finally arrive Damons plan to let go of his past might have some linkage to the dangerous dragons. As Trica and Damon grow closer, grow an understanding of each other, and draw near to Florida secrets come out and the danger is far from over.

Romance:
Damon and Tricia were my favorite romance out of the three. Of course just as the others this book and romance was incredibly sexy but more of a slow burn. I love a great slow burn and boy was this one. Damon wanted to wait until Tricia really trusted him before they even kissed so, I felt like I was always on edge until they finally did. But their banter was intriguing, sexy, and filled with romantic tension. My favorite thing though was how alike they were in their pain. Characteristic wise, they were different but, emotionally and past wise they were similar. This similarity made their relationship odd to their friends and family because only Damon and Tricia understood that pain.

Note: I received a free copy of this book for my honest review.

To make sure it's known, I never include any information in my reviews that could ruin the book.

I enjoyed it, that's important. If you haven't read the previous two books in this 'series' you'll be a bit lost to who characters are and the value of certain past experiences which come back to haunt us a bit in this one.

You learn more and more about one of the characters we've met twice before but finally he gets the focus. Damon is complexly and somehow different from his brothers and well in a way different from everyone. Different in a good way. His quirks help our other main character find herself and heal herself which in part is the other half of our books focus.

The journey our characters (all actually included) is both interesting and entertaining. You see more sides of characters you've met before making this one a bit of a favourite of mine.

It's a good book I do recommend but if suggest reading Kennick & Cristov first so you can truly get all the best out of this book.

You'll find happy moments, funny jokes, shocking turn of events all the while caring more about who you're reading about. Meg Jackson doesn't disappoint in the third book about a hot gypsy.

So boring line: I say yes to this book being purchased and read and enjoyed too!
(And lastly as always, if you enjoy it too - post a positive review as good authors deserve good reviews)

I loved this book! I think this was my fave of them all and I'm sorry it's the last. I'm hoping it isn't but there were only three Volanis guys...

Anyway, the story continues in this one, the wayward cousin that's jealous of Kennick being rom baro and wanting to make them all pay for it. Our hero, Damon, is having a tough time since his brothers don't trust him that much anymore, while our heroine, Tricia, doesn't want to go back home, but has no other choice.

Or that's what she thinks, until she sees Damon and he makes her an offer.

Damon and Cristov are both major faves, I can't pick between them. As for the story, this was my fave. I recommend this series to anyone, it sort of has them all.

4.5 - 5 stars for Damon. I want to thank the author for the copy given in exchange for my honest review.

What a fantastic series. You could read this installment as a standalone if you wanted to but it is definitely better if you read the whole series. In this final chapter Damon is the middle brother who is the strong silent type, very introverted. He has an old demon that he's been shouldering alone for many years that comes to the surface in this book and needs to be put to rest. He thinks he can sort it by himself but can he? An awesome series thanks Meg. I wish the younger sister could have had her story. Growing up with those 3 older brothers she would have been a strong, sassy, not to be messed with chick!

This is without a doubt, the best book in the Volinas Brothers series!!! Damon and Tricia's story was intense, well developed, and compelling. You could read as a stand alone book, but all three books are so good, why wouldn't you want to read them all. All three books flow well together, have interesting , complex characters, and are great reads!! I hope this isn't the end of the series, I would love to see a book for Mina. I was gifted an ARC for an honest review and I promise "Damon" will not disappoint.
