Women of Faith Study Guide

Encouraging One Another

Sometimes we plod through life with our head down. Day in and day out we push along, putting our shoulders into it, and keeping a stiff upper lip. What we really need is a little encouragement to get through the day. We just need some kind words from others to let us know that what we are doing really matters.

In Encouraging One Another, you will explore what Scripture has to say about the value God places on your life and how He notices all that you are doing. You will read passages that will lift your spirit as you hear God speaking His words of encouragement into your life. You will also discover that just as God lifts you up, He wants you to lift up others.

The Women of Faith® Bible Studies provide intriguing insights into topics that are relevant to women’s lives today. Each guide includes twelve weeks of study, down-to-earth illustrations, and reflections to help you move the truth from your head to your heart. A leader’s guide for use with small groups is also included.

I am currently reading and working through this book. It’s a wonderful book. I have a question about this book. On page 34. #1. It says did you know encouragement is a spiritual gift. I’m confused on that. In Romans 12:8. Im finding that encouragement is something good that comes from using spiritual gifts, not an actual spiritual gift. A product of the act of using spiritual gifts yes, but not an actual spiritual gift. Can someone help me understand this question in more depth please.

Great for small groups

This was one of the most popular studies my small group did. I loved the gifting suggestions at the end of each session and they loved receiving them.

This is a great book to study as a group. My small group had excellent discussions and have come away with ideas on how to be encouraging and be encouraged in a difficult time in our country.

For a $5.00 find on Amazon, this was surprisingly a good Bible study.

Found this for $1 at Lifeway. I love any series that talks about encouragement, but there wasn’t too much to this little book. Very basic, overview of encouragement in the Bible.
