Brilliant series
Thoroughly enjoying this series and gutted there is only 1 left! Completely novel sci-fi/apocalyptic genre story. Got bit confused in book 5 with frequent references early on to Mt Sinai - kept thinking I’d missed a book somewhere - but it is clarified later on. Now onto the last book of this amazing series..........

God, this was bad. 90% of the story is just one character demanding the other character do something, and that character asking why and the former refusing to give a straight answer. Here's an example: "We're going to do XYZ!" "Why?" "Just trust me!"
It was either that or one character asking the other a question and that person refusing to give a straight answer and then two proceeding to bicker about it at each other's throats. It would go like: "What happened to XYZ?" "Don't worry about it." "Why?"
I understand stories need drama, but this just felt like a lazy way to do it. The aliens even did it too. I can buy humans acting like that, but the aliens too? It was so bad it took me out the story.

Another "ok" book in this series. I feel that at this point the story has really been played out and words are being put on paper for the sake of just writing something.
This book took a lot for me to get through. It takes place immediately after the prior book and we get more questions than answers. This is a story about disasters of Biblical proportions wracking the planet and the human race. There is no regard in this writing for even attempting to explain how entire animal species are not going to be wiped out or the implications that the story would have on plant life, animal life or even the planet itself and the reader is left to just accept the outrageousness that is this story.
The story is what it is and at this point, I am just reading it to see where it goes...but I was very unimpressed with this book. There are so many unexplained happenings and coincidences written off as some unknown power or sense of something taking place and not explained. Millions of people forget their past? All of these people don't question where they came from, or why they are doing what they are doing by the end of this book?
I just couldn't shrug and accept the explanations given in this book.
Hopefully you feel differently than I do...I was simply not a fan of this one like I have been of others in the series.

I was planning on rating this one a 3, due to a slow start and drawn out middle. The ending changed it to a 4, big time.
From the beginning of this saga 5 books ago, the world has changed a lot. Characters have come and gone, and revelations abound have driven the remaining characters into some almost esoteric paths. The Ancient Aliens idea comes full circle in this book, and the ultimate plan of theirs is revealed in the final few chapters. The results of which were HUGE.
There is still a decent amount of character scenes in which people are meandering in their choices of what to do next. This stretched the plot a little thin, and could have used a few less chapters because of it. But when the ultimate conclusion to this book finally comes, there is no more meandering and is actually very thrilling.
There is one more book in this series to go, and I have no idea where the plot is going to go from here. That becomes the main driving point to read the next, as the state of the world is such that rings a little true, and open to any number of paths. Check it out!

Amazing storytelling!!
Sean Platt and Johnny Truant are amazing storytelling!! They have completely sucked me into Meyer, Clara, and Piper’s world. Extinction begins where Judgement ended. Cameron has opened the ark and humanity has been judged guilty. Clara and Stranger are my favorite characters. Stranger is a mystery and he has the almighty astrals confused. And Clara is just an amazing character who you can’t help but love. I can’t wait to start reading Resurrection!

Complex but compelling
This story line is a lot more complex since it deals with the extinction process simultaneously occurring at all of the capitols. It was impossible to put down.

The saga continues...
The Astrals have totally screwed humanity. Most people are dead leaving a few millions at most to repopulate the world. Can wait to see the remaining book in the series.

All the legends and myths of the past turned out to be true. The aliens wipe humanity off the face of the earth, with a small gene pool left to repopulate the world. There is a flood which washes away the face of the earth. Are you ready?

Loving this series.
This book of the series so far was the hardest to stay with. So many characters, larger gaps in time. BUT, it's a great series and have already downloaded the last book and get started reading it. I really don't want the story to end.....

Despite the charge that the title is a spoiler, like all the books in this series, the story is not what you expect it to be. In fact, it is not what the characters expect it to be either. And now I've read it, I'm desperate for the last book - hurry up and finish it, Johnny and Sean!
The characters are so well written, you feel you know them, and they're not black and white either. They all have weaknesses, and sometimes the reader is not sure who is on what side. The tension and action are maintained to such a pitch that I was grateful for the quiet parts, to get my breath back.
Highly recommended, the whole series.

Another good book in an interesting series
While a bit slow (I'm starting to think that condensing the series into just four or five books would have made it even better), this 6th installment in Alien Invasion moves the story forward in interesting and unexpected ways.
I can't wait to read the last book and see how this ends!

Great book series!
Loved to the entire series and think this one hangs well with the others. Interesting concept throughout : we are an alien controlled experiment and they don't like the results so far. Can't wait to see how it all ends.
Only thing though - and it's just a thought - why are they so sure the Founders aren't happy with the results?

It's not the destination, it's the journey
Every book in this series is different. I like that. You're given the ending with the title, and yet it tells you nothing. The story was a fantastic read, and after reading 6 books, I can't wait for the conclusion.

This series just keeps getting better! I don't understand how the number of readers could have dropped off since the first book. Silly people, guess it's their loss.

But she hadn’t realized how smoothly it would happen. Zoe’s mind, as Clara peered inside, was wide open. And through that mind, Clara could see Zoe’s brother’s. And her brother’s friend. And the kids that friend had met on the vessel, all of whom were a level up, above them now.
