When Angelica Hurst tries to return home for Christmas, she finds that sometimes, there are other plans made for us, whether we like them or not.
Left desolate and alone, without any memory of who she is, Angelica’s final resort is to answer a mail order bride advertisement.
As she and Zacharias St. Clare fall more and more and in love with each other, will the revelation of her past prove to be an obstacle to their love? Will her family agree to accept the man she has chosen or will she be forced to choose: old family or the new one?
I just read this book. It was different from the books I usually read. What made it different was the girl Asha became a mail-order bride. She was half Indian and her husband hated her. His previous wife had been scalped by an Indian. He was going to send her back on the next train in the spring. They did not have sex, but she took care of Michael and his daughter Rebecca. They slowly got to know each other. It had a good ending. I don't want to say too much.
Truly heart heartwarming. He needed a mother for his daughter, and she needed a home. She was a mail order bride and he was expecting other than what he got. But thru kindness to his daughter and her hard work in their home, God created a great family
