All THREE books in the bestselling RAVAGED WORLD SAGA by Iain Rob Wright, plus 2389 and The Peeling Omnibus (5 books total). Unique and terrifying.
"Iain Rob Wright scares the hell out of me." - J.A.Konrath, author of Origins and Afraid.
A virus the likes of which mankind has never seen has gotten loose and found its way aboard a luxury cruise liner. Follow the deadly Apocalypse Virus as it seeks to extinguish humanity - one grizzly death at a time. We're all going to die, but that won't be the end. What will you do after?
SEA SICK It was supposed to be relaxing...
Police Officer Jack Wardsley’s life ended the moment his partner died. He is a changed man, and his recent record of police brutality and reputation for not following the rules has prompted his seniors to give him an ultimatum: find a way to let go of all the anger – or find another job.
That’s why Jack is about to board The Spirit of Kirkpatrick, a cruise liner built for relaxation and fun. Pretty soon, however, Jack is going to realize that a little fun in the sun is the last thing he’s going to get. There’s a virus onboard and it's turning people insane.
It won't be long before the entire ship is overrun with blood and death -- and there is nowhere to escape in the middle of the sea. Nowhere to run. Jack needs to put his anger to good use and found out who is responsible before it's too late. So much for his vacation.
Welcome aboard...
"Iain Rob Wright has written a novel unlike anything else. A story that is equal parts Dawn of the Dead and Groundhog Day. An unforgettable classic."

RAVAGE There's a nasty bug going around... Nick Adams is a salesman. The only good things in his life are his wife, Deana, and his son, James. In fact, they are the only reason he still toils at the job he hates. He's meant for something better, you see, but something better never seems to come around. He's tired of his life and sick of standing in an empty shop in a dying business. Only a single, solitary customer has walked through the door all day, and it doesn't even look like the strange man came to buy. In fact, it looks like he came to kill.
Nick's entire life is about to turn upside down, sending him on a frantic journey through a ravaged world that will lead him 500-feet up in the air to a hilltop amusement park. Is it the last safe place on Earth? Or are the monsters at the top of the hill worse than the ones below? Welcome to Ripley Heights, where the fun never starts.
"Iain Rob Wright reinvents the zombie apocalypse while remaining faithful to its traditions. A book sure to please fans of both George Romero and 28 Days later, Ravage is the first book in a unique and terrifying apocalypse."
SAVAGE
Sometimes being alone is better...
The world has crumbled and the dead walk the earth, but all is not lost - yet. A group of survivors, led by weary veterinarian, Anna, and jaded scavenger, Garfield, seek salvation at an abandoned pier where the dead can’t get them. It might just be a place they can finally call home -- but then again, nowhere is truly safe any more.
The dead are everywhere hunting the living, but they are not the only threat. There are other survivors out there in the ravaged world, too, and when an injured stranger turns up at the pier, everything changes in an instant.
Savage. The world may have changed, but people haven’t.
2389
A space horror novel. On humanity's largest them park on the surface of the moon, something has gone very very wrong.
THE PEELING OMNIBUS

Just finished The Ravaged World Trilogy and bonus book, and honestly I’m upset. I’m upset that I’m done reading all of them!!! Iain Rob Wright has an awesome way of getting you more and more hooked with the turn of every page. Trying to decide which book of his I want to start next, but I’m looking forward to reading all he has to offer. Definitely recommend this series for anyone into Zombie type Apocalypse stories. Cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this trilogy. The bonus book(I’ll call it “The Peeling” not sure if that’s the name or not) was equally as awesome!!!
Wow! I got Sea Swept as a free book and COULD NOT put it down! I'm not going to go into the plot since you can read it above, but i will say I saw another reviewer say it was like The Walking Dead meets Groundhog Day and that's a great description. Wright did a fantastic job of making the characters real. I could imagine that I would react the same way in a similar situation (Heaven forbid!) It is a zombie story so expect plenty of terrible situations and gore. It's not for the faint of heart. As soon as I finished the 1st book, I immediately bought the 5 book set-the last 2 are a different story line, but no less compelling. If you can handle zombie stuff, I highly recommend you try these!
I absolutely loves this series. I am pretty sure I read the entire thing in a few days, basically non stop. Every chapter, you just wanna know what happens. I almost cried, I laughed numerous times at the one liners and certain moments, but most of all, I enjoyed the edge of my seat suspense of wanting to find out what happened. Every character (and there are quite a few) either had you hating or loving them and.... literally.... Every part of this series was *chefs kiss* beautiful.
The only downside is there are a few typos and errors here and there, but definitely not important enough or major enough to take away from a 5 star review. Incredibly done :)
This zombie novel gives more of the people's story. There were some editing errors, mainly in the second book, but the storyline was good enough to give it 5 stars (Anna was about to be attacked 10 yards from the building, help arrives and after fighting off the zombies they have 20 yards to run to the building.) Even tells us what happened to some of the forgotten characters at the end. This 3 book series would be good for teens or adults. I plan to read some more of Iain Rob Wright's books. Next Animal Kingdom!
So, I purchased the Ravaged World Trilogy, all three books at once, so this review is about the trilogy. To start with, this is not your typical zombie apocalypse, especially the first book. The second and third books settle into a more normal zombie story, but from the UK’s perspective, not many guns! I felt like the author did a better than average job of explaining and describing the struggles. Eventually, I got to learn about the origins of the apocalypse and a unique wrap up. An enjoyable read.
This set of books is a fantastic example of a series of novels that are not only great reads as individual stories but also tie together to tell a much larger, even better tale! Despite a couple books I simply couldn't get into (can't please everyone all the time...), overall I find this author one I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys excellent, keep a person on the edge of their seat stories that cross into many unexpected genres.
I really enjoyed the storyline of these books. It’s great to follow characters across an ordeal and Iain does that well. It has a Walking Dead vibe to it - what I mean is in the sense of exploring the reaction of humanity with survivor relationships. The dead are more of a nuisance; people are the real threat. Iain writes a great story and no character is safe. Loved it.
I think Iain Rob Wright is my new favourite author as I have so far loved everything I have read and having the books all together in a trilogy is a bonus ,there was also an extra short story called The Peeling as an added extra,no wonder my dreams are starting to be very weird ,I urge everyone to read his books ,you won't be disappointed
Wow! What a ride! Jack did his best to try and stop the virus from reaching the mainland. Moving on to the Kirkland and it’s for sure that you will find a mad man. From cradle to grave this is a wild ride through the UK. At times, a LOT of hero’s died and a lot scarified for others also is not lost for humanity.
Mr. Wright has delivered a great series! I truly enjoyed reading Ravaged World. Mr. Wright has given us many great characters to follow in this trilogy...so many that I can’t decide who I liked best. Do yourself a favor and take the time to read the Ravaged World Trilogy- you’ll be glad you did.
I loved this series of books and when I got to the end I was ready for more. This is a great look at the world and what it would look like if deadly virus came along and turned the world into zombies. Not exactly The Walking Dead, but just as good and faster paced. Very good read. On to the next. 😃
Very exciting and hard to put down! I fell in love with the characters and seeing how they survive. I love post apocalyptic books and this series definitely does not let down! Good story line and awesome writing! You won’t regret reading it!
The proofreading is so bad that I barely made it through these books. It's not a bad story but the writing is awkward so along with the errors it just took from being able to enjoy the story.
I have just finished this trilogy, and it was amazing. I have read a few of IRW books and they are all brilliant! If your not sure I recommend you go and buy this set, you won't be disappointed.
I have just finished the seasick trilogy of books and as usual with any Iain Rob Wright book it was excellent. If you enjoy Horror, Thriller, suspense, or just a really good read you can't go wrong with one of his books,he never fails to deliver.
Loved this trilogy seriously I couldn't put it down! If you like this genre definitely give this a try. Iain Rob Wright is fast becoming one of my favourite authors.
An interesting take on how the zombie virus came about. All three books are stories unto themselves but are connected by events and some of the characters.
