Book 1:
It was actually a great book. I have recently got into Bear Shifter books. So I was super excited to receive this book. The fact that the author wrote a book about an author who writes about shifters and meets a shifter in real life I found interesting and amusing.
How my heart broke for Cassidy. If you ever been over weight in your life you will relate to this book. She had to put up with criticism concerning her weight. It caused her to be self-conscious. My heart truly broke for her.
Cassidy who was wanting to make some new changes to a book she was writing had approached her editor about the changes. Her editor did not like it at all for she did not have the time. So her editor referred her to a new editor who might help her out.
Cassidy was excited when she received the email from the new editor agreeing to meet. Wow how Abe (the new editor) took her breath away when she saw him. He was like mouth dropping, panting melting sexy.
Cassidy who gets herself into trouble has to rely on Abe to help her out. Want to know what trouble she got herself into? How about if things heated up between Abe and Cassidy? Well read the book.
Book 2:
Cassidy is an amazing woman. She is not only a beautiful plus woman but she is confident, strong headed, smart, and passionate. She speaks her mind and will not let anyone bully her. I believe she is the type of person that will stand up for the ones she loves very quickly. I have to say it is funny how Cassidy is a writer who writes about shifters. Imagine to her surprise when she finds out they do excised.
Abe, I so love Abe he is my favorite amongst the bear shifters. He has been thru so much. It only seems fair in my eyes that he find true love and happiness. I would love to see Cassidy and Abe together for life with a bunch of bear babies running around..LOL Bears a very protective and can be quite jealous.
Cassidy finds she feels very sexy and attractive when she finds these hot bear shifters attracted to her. Though she finds herself sexually attractive to other men I think her heart truly belongs to Abe. I think Abe is more than just a sexual attraction.
I think the author has found a knack for writing shifter books. I am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to read this series. I seem to never get enough shifter books
Book 3:
Cassidy is an author that writes shifter novels. How funny is it that she not only meets one shifter but two. Boy, I bet she was not expecting the change that was getting ready to take place. Cassidy is a strong plus size woman. I love that she is such a strong character. She is not afraid to speak her mind, which can get her into trouble sometimes. Like that time she punched Bob Silk in the nose. *snicker*
Abe is a bear shifter who felt the need to come to Boston because he felt his mate was there. The moment he saw Cassie he knew that she was the one. He later discovered that Cassidy was a dormant Alpha Female. WOW, to have to break that news to her. So much for Cassidy to take in.
Cassidy who is attracted to two men Jason and Abe has learned that this men are bear shifters. The news is almost too much to process, but she is willing to accept it. She processes the news little by little. Now Cassidy has to feel out Abe the man she has deep feelings for to see if he is willing to allow another men in their relationship.
I so love this series and can only hope that Abe gets his wish. Though I like Jason I have to say I am very parcel to Abe. I think Abe is so amazing the way he is taking everything in. He has been thru so much and this shows such amazing strength on his part. I have to say I would of loved to be a fly on the wall when Abe seat down to talk to Jason.. LOL
I assure you if you have not read this series you will truly love each and every part.
Book 4:
I have to say there are certain ones in this series that are my favorite and I have to say this one falls among them.
This story picks up where Cassidy and Abe are heading to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park to meet Abe’s clan and his family. I think this is so great because this is taking the next step in their relationship. This will help Cassidy help understand a little more about her man.
I loved Abe’s father Copper. He is truly a loving father. He wants what is best for his son and is happy to see that Abe found his mate. He did not beat around the bush as far as saying he thought his son was crazy at first headed to Boston to find his mate. Copper has a good heart though some times he might over step his bounds.
Cassidy is feeling over whelmed in this book. She has just found out that Bob is causing problems and thing might not go as smoothly as hoped. Now she is being asked to do something by Copper that is just adding to her stress.
I loved Ingrid which is Abe’s brother’s mate. She is doing everything to make sure Cassidy feels welcomed right off the bat. I know this had to mean a lot to Abe and Cassidy as well.
This was probably one of the stories I found so touching not only because Cassidy got to meet the clan and Abe’s family but because Abe got to reunite with his father. Which as you will find out as you read is very important.
Book 5:
I love this series. I am not personal fan of Jason tin his series. I think it is because I am so in love with Abe and Cassidy together that I do not like that Abe has to share her, but that is me personally. I am usually all on board of a girl getting both men but not in this case.
In this book we see that Cassidy and Abe have come home to Boston after visiting Abe’s family. Abe has already asked Cassidy to marry him and of course she has said yes. Cassidy is overwhelmed. She has had to put up with the lawsuit with Bob Silk. I still can not help but think about Cassidy punching Bob and laughing my head off about it.
Abe is wanting a baby but does not want to bring it up to Cassidy until she is ready. He is like the perfect guy. He is always putting Cassidy needs ahead of his own. Abe has a lot on his plate. He had to leave father knowing his father was sick and not knowing what is truly wrong with his father. His father wants Abe and Cassidy to take over the his business but Cassidy has so much on her plate she just does not know if she is ready to take on such responsibility.
Jason is in the picture still. Like I said earlier I am not a fan. Has nothing to do with Jason he is a great guy, but I am truly in love with the Abe and Cassidy as a one and one couple.
Cassidy will have to work on getting the lawsuit hammered out. Bob’s attorney does not like to follow the rules and is just as much as a bully as Bob is. What I love about Cassidy is she is a strong woman and will not be bullied.
This was a great story and so looking forward to seeing what happens next in the series.

I loved every single part of this series so far, from when Cass and Abe meet, because she needs a new editor for her "shifter" books. To when Cass finds out there'so more out there than just humans. Abe and Cass falling in love and realizing Cass had dormant shifter blood. Emerald Wright has written a twist on the "Alpha" male storyline to making a Matriarchal Alpha that comes every 25 years or so. A female who can have as many beta males as she can handle, while still having that one true mate, who knows he is loved above all the others. This is a true 4.5☆ read, with great characters, twists, and very human reactions to disgusting human behavior. Grab this serial and catch up before part 6 comes out !! I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I like that this series takes a very different take on alphas and women in the shifter communities. It is a great concept to have Cassidy be a writer of paranormal romances and then get immersed in the actual world of shifters when she meets her new editor, Abe, who she learns is a bear shifter. Cassidy is a real fighter and she is not shy about asking for what she wants. Abe is a lot quieter and easy-going and the author takes time to build a romance. As the series continues, her romance goes in a different direction that I expected but very much enjoyed. It is great that you can buy the entire series now in one book insread of having to wait to see what was next for the characters.

I don't know about anybody else but I truly enjoy reading a book when all the parts come together.
Read this book in one sitting and it was worth it.
The main characters were different as night and day but somehow they made it work. Abe for the most part was a country bear coming to the city looking for his mate.
Cassidy is a writer with some quirkiness in her character. She kind of rolls with the punches until she as been wronged then boy watch out.
Even with the title of the book having shifter in it this not the main super focus of the story.

Cassidy writes shifter erotic romances and has made a ton of money. Abe is recently divorced and needs a steady flow of income. He comes to her rescue when she gets into a bit of trouble. They share a kiss. What will become of their relationship after all is said and done?
Part 2 - Abe and Cassidy become closer in their relationship. He admits to her that he is a bear shifter and she doesn't believe him. She thinks that he is playing a joke on her because she writes shifter romances. After a bit, she believes him. He tells her that he has feelings for her and would like to have a more intimate relationship. They began to date and get to know each other.

When I read Shifter - Grizzly 5 Book Series, I knew it had would meet all of my expectations. The storyline of all five parts are Fantastic. The men are scorching hot and the heroines are strong and the end will justify that they will all get their HEA. This series will put you on the edge of your seat so that it you will want to read all five stories and with this series you will learned as I did something new about each character's. Each one of the stories shows how skilled Emerald Wright is at her craft there is nothing she can’t accomplish for their readers. There isn't a emotion she don’t touch, no ledge she won’t standout on, no heart she don’t mend, no love she can’t tap into, no world she can’t make you enter, and no readers she can’t satisfy. There is Bears and Humans OMG what love will do! They have a amazing flow of words that's fast pace and well written. I love cliffhangers so I really enjoyed each story!
This is a Magnificent story of romantic love . All of the stories will leave you feeling happy and in a loving mood. This is a Fantastic Series it's scorching hot, sexy, it has romance with attitude. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy!If you love romance and in need of a pick up this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list. I recommend this series to everyone who loves a good love story.

This box-set consists of five episodes that was absolutely fantastic to read and even though it ended on a cliffhanger I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this box-set. The story covers Cassidy, a curvy paranormal erotic author who needs help editing the last three chapters of her book. Her current editor is unable to help her and refers her to Abe, a editor recently divorced and a bear shifter, he realizes that Cassidy is his mate and this is where the story really gets interesting. What you will find in this story is, strange dreams, going to the gyp, snide remarks, assault, arrest, bail, kissing and promptly passing out, emotional feelings, romantic interests, a dormant alpha female, a beta to her female, a primary mate, sharing a mate, reading thoughts, M/M/F, unplanned pregnancy, two fathers and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written and the scene description is excellent. The characters are well developed and have personalty with needs and desires. I am waiting with anticipation for the next in this series.

I loved this series & now it's in a box set! I've repeated this a lot, but I was always amused by one thing. This author wrote a series of novellas, which is telling a story about an author, Cassidy, writing a shifter series. Cassidy has a deadline, but wants to change it, w/3 days left. Her editor doesn't have time & sets her up with another editor, Abe. So many twists & turns, ups & downs...you will want to cheer, laugh, get angry, cry, get happy. This series/box set is fun & hot! Abe is a shifter & so is Jason! Cassidy is gets news with the both of them! I want more of this series! I think it ended ok, but to me, I like everything tied up in a nice bow! Please give us more!

I loved Cassidy and her strong personality, and when Abe appears in the story, I found it was perfect the way he is interested in her and makes her feel truly loved for who she is.
And Jason was an interesting addition to the relationship, and the fact that Cassidy is an Alpha made the story even more interesting.
I'm ansious to read part 6 and know what will happen to all of them.

Go, Female Alphas! A different perspective on Alphas. Engaging, page turner. Highly recommended! I received this ARC for an honest review.
