I would say this is the book of my 2022. I haven’t read such a lovely story book for a long time. Again, I’m a strange adult who is always moved by children’s books. For me, the stories are humorous and full of wise and love. The cold weather is not always my favorite, if I can company myself with one or two pieces of stories and a hot cup of tea when it’s raining, I would call it a great day.

I would have given 6 stars, if I could, to this witty, funny, weird and super-kind little book. I do not know what makes the Brits so good in writing kids books! Maybe it is the fact that they never try to be didactic? Or that the only thing that authors like Donald Bisset try to teach in their stories is how to see beautiful and magic around us. LOVED IT!

ჩემი უსაყვარელესი წიგნი ბავშვობაში. დღემდე ზეპირად მახსოვს ფრაზები. ბევრი იუმორია, თავშესაქცევი თხრობა, მხიარული პერსონაჟები და რაც მთავარია - ღრმა აზრი ყველაფერი ამის მიღმა. თან, მარტივად გამოთქმული, პატარა ბავშვსაც რომ გააგებინებს მეგობრობის, სიყვარულის, თანაგრძნობის მნიშვნელობას.

Nuostabi knyga. Maniškė - 1972 metų leidimo, nuglostyta, nuskaityta ir labai miela. Pasakos, lavinančios vaizduotę. Pasakos, kurių tekstus galima kartu su vaikais kartoti ir kartoti mintinai :)

One of the best books of my childhood. Kind, strange, unusual.
