Sometimes running is your only option. Bear shifter Logan is feeling the weight of being alone. A one-night stand with a feisty redhead seems to turn things around, until he wakes up the next morning and she's gone. Back to the grind of saving lives and beating bad guys, he knows something is missing.
Maggie's family has abandoned her since she was trapped at United Hospital of Portland. They don't mix with humans and they think Maggie has betrayed them. But when Maggie discovers she's pregnant, who will come to her rescue?
Months later Maggie and Logan are thrown together and must decide once and for all if they can make their relationship work. Family drama, a kidnapping, and a secret baby make dating hard.

Just love it, when each book picks up where the others left off. It's so easy to loose your self in the story with so much action, drama, not knowing who to trust, and steamy hot romance with awesome characters? A story that won't disappointed in any way and keep them coming.
I loved this book. The story of Logan and Maggie was anything but calm. The minute the two cross paths in a bar both their worlds seem to implode. Though they seem to be fated to be together, their lives don't seem to allow that so easily. Very good read.
Logan had been one of the shifters helping out with the shifters that were help prisoner at the hospital. There is so much they do not know. They do know there was some experiments that had gone on but did not know the degree until one of the women was pregnant no fault of her own.
Maggie was a wild child. She was pure shifter and lived with a clan that believed in living off the grid so to speak. They did not interact with the humans. It was actually forbidden. So when Maggie was in the hospital and her parents were told that she had died she then became an outcast from her clan.
Logan and Maggie are fated mates. Logan has so many unanswered questions when it comes to Maggie. Things did get hot and heavy between them but in a blink of an eye she was gone without a word. Now here she is back in his life. He needs her and wants her with every fiber of his being. Now he is finding out she is expecting.
Logan will do whatever it takes to keep Maggie safe. Her clan want to harm her and maybe her baby. Maggie has no one and is feeling abandon. She does not know who she can trust. Can Logan raise a child that might not be his own? Will Maggie and Logan confess their feelings before it is too late?
This was an awesome read. I just love this series.
What happened to Maggie was so awful. She went from a vibrant outgoing young woman to a fearful, distrustful, wary one. Maggie is a bear shifter who is taken to a shifter hospital. They saved her life, but no one knew that the hospital was secretly putting patients in comas and experimenting on them. After being there for eight months, the police save everyone and close the hospital, but Maggie comes out of her coma, and is rejected by her clan. She has to go back to the city and live off the generosity, and handouts from others. Logan, a bear shifter cop sees her again (they spent one night together before she went to the hospital), and is surprised at how she has changed. He knows she is his mate and helps her, but secrets about the experiments done on her cause Maggie to run, and puts her in danger. Can Logan keep her safe, and what was the Hospital trying to accomplish with their experiments? Maggie was abandoned by the friends and family who were supposed to love and protect her, and saved by strangers in the city.
Maggie and Logan has one special night before they were parted. He really missed her and had no idea she was in a hospital during that period being subjected to abuse. Maggie's life is totally changed when she is freed. She has no family to count on and a very scary future ahead of her.
I really enjoyed the start of the story. I only wish they had more time together before they were separated. Maggie still has a long way to go to recover from her ordeal and there are many questions left at the end of the story as to what happened to her. Logan is a good guy and not the alpha you usually see in these books. He tends to be quieter and less fierce but it does not mean he doesn't care deeply.
Undercover Bear: Logan (Undercover Bear: Portland, #2) by Tarra Wolf and Meredith Clarke
Love the Portland crew as much as I loved the Seattle crew.
If you haven't read any of these books yet, I suggest starting at the beginning with Undercover Tiger: Sarge - Prequel. Though they can be read as standalone's.
I am looking forward to reading more about the Undercover Bears in Portland.
This was a great story about Logan and Daisy. Logan is a police officer and a bear shifter. Daisy is the daughter of full blooded bear shifters. She is also a full blooded bear shifter. Daisy is put into the hospital and while she is there she has experimented on and put into a coma. When she comes out of the hospital she finds out she's pregnant. It is an excellent story and goes through the highs and lows of their relationship.
Nothing special.. And the story didn't exactly flow .. I don't know this was difficult to read because the story line didn't connect well and because of all the mysteries that were added to the story but never solved..
