A bit of rough and tumble to finish out the series for the 120 Proof Honey and what a finale. While Slade didn't want to cause an all out brawl with the she bears he could no longer do nothing. As alpha he made an attempt to call a truce. Apparently the other she bears weren't going for it even though their reluctant alpha hated confrontation. Not so her second in command who had a habit of ignoring anything but the willingness to fight.
In the meantime Veronica and Slade had made their own truce on a personal level. This came to a head when Veronica found out that her clan had once again ignored her and injured one of Slade's bears. Can you say retaliation in spades. The Walker's took the fight to the Harper's front door, but it was soon stopped by the sound of gunfire. Veronica was putting her foot now (or in this case paw). It meant that Christina leaving the pack, and a merger formed with Slade and his bears. A business merger and a more personal merger with the two alphas.
You were suppose to be able to see this as a standalone, but it brought in all the bears who had stories before this....so you'll want to backtrack so you can get the full "flavor" of this 120 Proof Series.

This was the last book in the series! I did it! I didn't hate this! And as this stuff really isn't my thing, I am glad about that!

I gotta say that SLADE is definitely the best story in this series. Fanning did a fantastic job bringing the series to a close with this final installment. She also made me feel more invested in the story than in the previous episodes of the series. Originally I really disliked the FMC, Veronica. She seemed to really suck at leading a clan. Then my opinion started to change and I was amazed at how the author was able to twist that on me.
I gotta say that Meghan Kelly’s narration was pretty awesome for this one. She did a great job switching up her voice to differentiate the characters in the group scenes. As always though I think her acting could be better. She uses the wrong inflection in her words sometimes and the emotion she’s supposed to be portraying doesn’t match her tone.

This was a great series. I really liked the characters. And the couples were adorable. A brilliant performance from Meghan throughout.

Wow, I loved Slade, and to be honest, during the rest of the series I hadn't heard much about him but he was definitely worth the wait. Although, considering he was the alpha I would of considered that he would of shown his head more before now! Still, like I said, he was worth the wait and he is definitely an alpha, and shows his characteristics as suchs very well, leading the clan through some very difficult situations during the course of this book. I really enjoyed how Veronica and Slade overcame their problems with their clans in this book and became closer as a result, it was a really enjoyable storyline and I also liked how it included the other guys as well and we also got to meet some new girl bear characters.
I would recommend this book, you do not necessarily need to read the others in the series first, but I found that it helped as I knew what was going on, but like I said, not a necessity.

SLADE is the fifth book in the 120 Proof Honey. Though each stands on its own, it’s better to read them all and in the order of release.
With great emotion, the series is brought to a satisfying end. First Slade and Veronica had to deal with Christina and clan drama. They proved that they were strong leaders and stronger lovers.
As always, Becca Fanning brings steam and sexiness with plenty of heart and happiness. Though this series may be over, I can’t wait to see what may be next.

This novella is part of the 120 Proof Honey series. I have read other books from this author and I was not disappointed in this book. This is a standalone and you don't need to have read the other books in the series to enjoy this one. And no cliffhanger at the end as this is the final book in the series. Hot and Steamy so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author managed to richly describe the characters, scenery, and get you caught up in the emotions between the two main characters into a novella length story.

Slade and Veronica are both leaders of clans, that is also in competition for the Honey business.
This was a perfect ending to this serious. Slade finally getting his woman after the rest of his clan did. Veronica was in a tough situation with her clan, that I think Slade helped her figure out. I soooo wanted to throat punch Christina myself. I mean come in think!!! I was getting frustrated for Veronica having to deal with her and the hurtful past. And the Best Clan? Wow they showed good restraint well until Christina went too far. I loved how this book ended, I had tears in my eyes. Also doubly glad Beth and Robin finally found what made them happy too.

Darn them women bear shifters! That other clan was driving him nuts. Later he took his men to confront them. Meeting their leader was a surprise dhe was nothing like he thought.
Veronica was shocked to hear Christina had gone against her wishes again and made more trouble but before she could say anything christina's mouth made it impassable to work things out right then with the hot alpha

Really good book in Becca Fanning's Bear Shifter series !! It has it all !! Territory wars, pranks that turn deadly, instant attraction, sexy male shifter bears and curvy, snarky shifter lady bears. All over who will have the rights to stay in town and make a line of ..... Honey related products !!! Veronica leads the she bears, Slade the he bears, all they want to do is get along and get each other in bed !! The other female bears are determined to drive the male bears off the mountain. Read this cute, enticing book to see what happens . 4☆'s . I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book by Becca Fanning who gave me an ARC to read and honestly review. I wished I would of read the other books in this series before this one so I would know all the characters which interact with Slade & Veronica but I didn't feel as if I was missing any important information pertaining to this story. Slade & Veronica, each alpha's of their own bear clans come face to face to try and work out issues with her clan harassing and terrorizing his clan. Both clans are in the same business selling honey and honey products and would work better together than separate. You need to read this well written book to find out if it's even possible for it to work.

What a wonderful match for the final single man in the Walker clan. Once again this book reads extremely easy and fast. It's the perfect solution to a quick PNR fix during a lunch break or afternoon relax. The storyline moves along comfortably. Even in the heat of turmoil, the writer enlists just the right amount of focus to reach resolution. A good read. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Two bear shifters in love. They also both sell honey, what could be sweeter? This story is perfect. It has 5 male and 5 female shifters. Can this group co-exist or will there be an all out war? You definitely will want to read this story. I love the way the story flows. It can be read in one setting which is awesome. This is number 5 and the last in the series..as usual it is pretty much a stand alone book.
This is the story of Slade and Veronica-instant attraction-yet at odds because of the people around them. They work thru the problems and combine forces. Cute story has a bit of everything. Maybe a little quick since resolving so much but overall a quick, fun summer read.

This is the last book in the 120 Proof Honey Series Slade Walker is the last single Alpha in his bear clan. Veronica Harper is the leader of the female bear shifter clan who have been sabotaging the Walkers clan honey and moonshine business. This novella sumed up and gave closure to this series. When these two meet sparks fly on a romantic way. This a sweet, funny novels. Good ending to the series. I was given a free copy in exchange for a honest review.

Given to me for an honest review. Slade was going into town to file paperwork but when he got to his car, all 4 tires were slashed. The scent was from the female bear shifters who were giving them trouble. He started to use one of the other vehicles but all of the tires had been slashed. He hasn't bothered to seek a mate since then. Five women came out the cabin and Slade wants the leader. He decides to have a meeting later with his clan and hers. What will happen at this meeting?

I have been enjoying the series. This is the first time we get to hear directly from the group that has been sabotaging their business. There are some real surprises in the meeting between the two alphas.
Veronica is not enjoying her role as alpha. She wants peace. After meeting Slade, she wants him too. They have great chemistry. I really liked the ending of the story. It definitely delivers a HEA for everyone.

I really enjoyed the series and loved each book. The series is about a tight group of Shifters and each book has highlighted one of the Shifters and their story. It was much better than I had expected. I loved the characters. They were fun, sexy and smart. The story lines are good and I liked that it had a great plots withing such short time-frames being novellas. I loved each book. It had me interested from start to finish and left me wanting more. A wonderful read.

Quick shifter romance. He is the clan leader and also the only one without a mate. He has been hurt in the past by women and doesn't see any future relationships. And now he is warring with another clan of bears who happen to be all females. Trying to end the feud may change his view of his future.

Slade and Veronica were wonderful. Alphas falling in love right away. You finally see where the stories all lead up to. Veronica is still hurting but she soldiers on and finally finds her alphaness to stand up for herself. Slade makes up his mind that enough is enough and starts trying to work with the girls.I did receive a free ARC of this book for an honest review.

Wonderfully written as always! Ever get that feeling that there is just no one out there for you, well Slade is in that position. Sometimes we just have to remember that if we try to rush things even with the wrong person we will miss out on who fate has for us, luckily Slade he finds his mate

Great read but WAY to short. I have really enjoyed all the books in this story, sad to see the end. I'm sure Ms. Fanning has more in store for our reading pleasures.

Skade
This was a short story therefore the storyline goes quickly. I liked the book though I felt at times the story was rushed and wasn't developed enough.
Slade and Veronica came together very quickly with no relationship building.
