Okay, I didn't read this book word-for-word, but I really enjoyed the pictures in this book. I think many of these pictures are what I dream about when I think of my future house--especially the beautiful house with the gardens opposite the title page. Classic beauty.

The subtitle says it all. Recommended for people interested in the topic. The finishes and interior decoration is dated but the ideas will be of interest to those who want to renovate a Cape Cod style house.
