(FYI I tend to only review one book per series, unless I want to change my scoring by 0.50 or more of a star. -- I tend not to read reviews until after I read a book, so I go in with an open mind.)

This is an absolutely amazing series! To anyone that loves police procedurals and fantasy I would definitely recommend it. The heroine of this series is not perfect and that makes it awesome! The other species are not human and that makes the series almost as great as the foreigner series by CJ Cherryh. I love set a find myself cussing right along with Kaylan! She lets go of baggage, but she is still herself. I look forward to finishing work more than usual so that I can dive back into this world.

Great Story!!!
Michelle Sahara has written a great story set in an interesting world. The books are hard to put down, and my housework suffers. LOL. Excellent fantasy coming of age story. Characters are easy to identify with.
