This book has basic patterns for a hat, purse, mittens, slippers, etc., and then the rest of the book shows different ways to embellish them with top stitching, beading, etc. It also has a nice descriptive segment in the beginning, along with good crochet technique photos. I will come back to this for patterns when I am a more accomplished crocheter.
