I actually quite enjoyed this story of an alien and a human becoming friends while their civilizations fought and misunderstood each other. The ending wasn't great, but I liked the journey they went on together, and getting to hear the interesting perspective of how humans look to an alien with completely different biology (like a hive mind, sort of).

Some of the principles felt a little forced, like they author just wanted to spitball some ideas for a life form, but it was still a fun one.

Want to check this out because I heard this was a book that got more difficult to read (in terms of getting more annoying).
