Whilst most other textbooks on ECT focus on the history, theory, and procedures of administering electroconvulsive therapy, they all invariable fail to present on how to actually interpret the EEG produced as a part of this treatment modality.

This short text concisely presents on this important aspect of providing ECT in practice, illustrated with extensive EEG traces with associated interpretation and explanation.

Given its very accessible pricing, this text has clearly been authored by a passionate health professional with the primary motivation of improving the provision of ECT to psychiatric patients.
