This lovely board book was designed for curious little hands and minds. The story of Easter begins with the the triumphal entrance into Jerusalem. Then we get to see the Last Supper and go to the garden where Jesus is arrested. Jesus is then crucified on the cross. Three days later Jesus' friends find the tomb empty and then finally Jesus appears to Peter and the others. This is obviously a simplified version but it contains all the essential elements for little minds to begin to grasp the importance of the events.

I really like this book for the preschool set especially. The story is told in an engaging yet simplistic way and also includes scriptural references. Each of the pages have over-sized tabs making it easy for little fingers to turn the pages. The hidden picture element is a nice interactive touch. One of my grands had a blast discovering each of the pictures.

This cute little book would make a nice addition to all of your little ones Easter baskets.

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.

First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, READY, SET, FIND EASTER is a board book for babies, preschoolers, and early elementary children. This is similar to the popular "I Spy" game, where you try to find pictures hidden in a larger picture, but there is a little story to go with it. This one is related to Easter and the preceding days. A great book to use for little kids to help them use visual fun to learn the resurrection story.

I can't say how much my 5 year old daughter loves this! She looks at it endlessly. Even though she has already found all the items by now, she words hard to make out the words and keeps asking me to read the verses. Thanks, ZondervanKidz, for the ARC and for making celebrating and learning about the real meaning of Easter so fun for kids.

Ready, Set, Find Easter is a precious little book that shares a simplified version of the Easter story. From Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey to appearing to the disciples after his death, children can walk through the Easter story in a way that they can relate to. Along the way, kids get to find different pieces of the illustration.

The illustrations are sweet. They hold enough details that kids will have to hunt a little to find the pictures. But they are also simple enough that Sarabeth, at 2, can also find all of the items on the page. And when your child finds all of the pictures on the page, there are plenty more things to choose from to keep your child searching!

Looking for a great book to stick in your little bunny's basket this year, or to help get everyone ready for Easter?

Check out this cute little interactive board book that's sure to brighten your child's spring!

Each page tells a bit of the Easter story - citing an appropriate Bible verse for each blurb of text.

Your child will begin with Palm Sunday and walk through events like the Last Supper, Jesus' arrest and crucifixion, the empty tomb and then end with telling the world the great news about Jesus being the Savior of the world.

Each open spread also includes eight different items to search for - turning this into an activity book, as well!

Because of its dual nature, I feel this book is a great investment. The sturdy board book pages (with fun, semi-circle turning tabs) and bright, colorful pictures make it the perfect book to grab in time for baby's first Easter.

You'll enjoy reading this story each year with your little one, but when (s)he reaches the preschool stage, you'll appreciate it even more.

It's the perfect book to tote along to church or an appointment because it's quiet, engaging, and doesn't require extra pens or paper!

I definitely recommend this book for anyone with kids aged birth to probably around school age (5-6). It's a great one to grow up with and solidifies the wonderful message we share each spring.
