was a really good read, i really enjoy Sasha's and hunter's relationship. the fact that its not always perfect but they get though it and that Sasha will kick ass to make sure things work out for the better.
i always love a strong female character, we need more people like that in the real world.
there where a few parts i didn't like because i found that the way they where written was confusing, also when they kept changing from different people's perspective during the middle of the book got a bit confusing till you figured out who was being the narrator..... but all the action, twists and interesting stuff that happens in the book makes up for that
thats why i gave it 4 out of 5 stars..
though i think you should read it for yourself :)

The plot was good but I found the story poorly written and thought the author rambled in many parts of the story. Too many details on scenery and not enough character development. I found myself just wanted it to end. This is the first I've read of L.A.Banks and may be the last

Out of the 3 books I read in Crimson Moon series, I loved and enjoyed every minute of this read.
The first two books introduced the main characters and shared the history of the wolf clans. This book just stepped up a notch to reveal a deeper secret of a complicated family relationship and prophecy.
I have not read a book that involves military aspects, paranormal characters, and use of shamman/prophecy fulfillment yet. The book is now getting exciting to read onward!

A great big yesssss to this book! Absolutely jammed packed full of action. Once I was finally able to find some time to read I ended up staying up till the wee hours of the morning. It was hard to put down. I recommend reading the series in order so you fully understand what is going on. So yeah, hopefully the next book is just as good.

Duty vs. desire, amid plots and schemes, and Sasha's still great!
The unprecedented alliance between the Federation of Werewolves and Shadow Wolf Clans is under covert attack as plots and schemes abound in Banks' third foray into her supernatural Crimson Moon world. The fall out caused by those working behind the scenes for their own political purpose may cost the alphas of the combined wolf shifter coalition: Hunter, Shogun, Sasha - and perhaps the rest of their kind as well - their lives.
And on a more personal note - heroine/shifter/soldier Sasha's life has always been `duty first', but now she's bending the rules and hoping that she won't have to put a bullet through her Shadow wolf mate Hunter's brain. As Hunter becomes more violent and primal and it looks like this time he will lose his battle with the demon virus which threatens to turn him into a flesh eating monster. Though Sasha has made her choice to stick with Hunter, the attraction still sizzles between Sasha and Werewolf leader Shogun, and Shogun is not about to give up his pursuit even as he lends his support to Sasha in her attempt to find a cure for Hunter. Those seeking to bring Hunter and Sasha down will manipulate that attraction and Shogun will pay the price.
First of all Undead on Arrival is not a stand alone story, part of the emotional power of the book comes from knowing Hunter which gives his degeneration and Sasha's own ethical struggle more of an impact. And Banks really relies on the world building and development of her supporting cast from previous books, so parts of the story will probably be a bit confusing if you are coming into the Crimson Moon series cold.
But being a fan of the series (and shape shifters in general), I really enjoyed Undead on Arrival. Sasha is just as great as she has been in previous books - she is sexy, tough and smart - Sasha's a first class heroine. And there is good chemistry between Sasha and both of the wolves vying for her affection. Not mention that they are terrific too - Hunter and Shogun are both noble and honorable and hot- and it is heartbreaking to watch as their honor is stolen from them by the disease that is the bane of those with Werewolf blood.
I also enjoyed all the plots and schemes and the way that Sasha manages to yet again pull victory from the jaws of defeat with a little elvish help. And this book is definitely a pivotal one in the series with lots of secrets coming to light and events which seem to set up for an all out war between the vamps and the wolves. My only nit with the story is that there a few extraneous threads which really don't add much to the story. And as much as I like the idea of Sasha's team - and this is especially true for Sasha's wolf familiars Woods and Fisher - they are never really are given much to do.

I have never hidden my extreme love for Shifters, they are my favorite supernatural race followed by Vampires, taking a close second. The Crimson Moon series by L.A. Banks is all about the Shifter/Weres for me. Well, there are Vampires, Fae and a lot of other supernatural races, but for me is still all about the Shifters LOL.
Sasha Trudeau works for the government in a super secret team of Werewolves, working to eliminate terrorists. Well, they do have all the Werewolf ups, but they do not shift, because shifting means something went wrong. Means they have been taken by the rage and they need to be put down, so not shifting is good, right? When Sasha meets a man called Hunter claiming to be a Shadow Wolf, she realizes that the supernatural world is much more than she previously thought.
I LOVE L.A. Banks’ Crimson Series! I confess that I was bit overwhelmed and confused by the world building in the beginning, but after you get a grip on all the supernatural people and the different types of wolves, you get a chance to enjoy an awesome Urban Fantasy series with non-stop action and a great romance at it’s center.
There are the Shadow wolves {Native American origin} and there are the Werewolves {Asian origin}. The Shadow wolves are able to move through the shadows and Demon realms, but they need the protection of a special stone to keep from being attacked by Demon-infected wolves. Both Shadow Wolves and Werewolves can be infected and this one of the main problems that Sasha, Hunter and her team need to deal with. The mythology behind the shifter races is so unique in my opinion and one of my favorite things about this great series.
I love the cast of characters that make up this series. From Sasha’s team, to Hunter’s pack and including their allies the Fae, Crimson Moon is full of awesome characters that bring this amazing world L.A. Banks has created.
The Crimson Moon series is sure to please many Urban Fantasy fans out there and if you haven’t read it yet, you totally should! I can’t wait for the next installment in this brilliant series!

This is a book in the Crimson Moon series. It needs to be read in order. The first book is Bite the Bullet.
This book started out a bit slow for me. Not that a book has to have wham and bam, non-stop action,
story but I mean the story has to be interesting and move in a way that keeps me wanting to read more.
Though the start was a bit too slow for my tastes, once it got going, it got going. Though the story got better
by the end I was disappointed . I wanted a one on one face off, and it just wasn't given. I feel a bit cheated.
You kill off one of the big bad guys, and it isn't between hero and villain, really? Otherwise, it wasn't a bad
installment to the series.

Sasha and Hunter continue their journey in the Crimson Moon Novels by LA Banks. With Hunter struggling with the demon infected virus, and Shogun always standing just around the corner. Sasha is always finding herself stressed to her limit. When rumors start running ramped with Sasha find the strength to stand by Hunter, or will she have to be the one taking his life. [return][return]I am very impressed by this series. I never find this series lacking. I look forward to another book in October.

This is the third book in the Crimson Moon series. Although there is a fourth book in the series I will conclude my reading of this series with book three. I feel the 'good guys' have won, and the lose ends neatly tied up. Any futher reading will probably upset the balance of the current series conclusion.
This was an enjoyable read, but I enjoyed book two to a greater extent.

Ok, so this one was kinda hard to read. There was a lot of conflict throughout - plus Max is fighting a losing battle with the contagion. Very stressful. Let's hope the next one is better, but I'm not holding my breath.

This book is also as good as the first to books. It makes you want to go on to the next book to see what happens with Sasha and Hunter.

Wow, just wow! Ms. Banks has a way of holding your attention. At times, I was afraid to read on because I was so scared to learn what would happen. This book continues to be suspenseful and addicting. Can't wait to read the next one.

Don't read this book first! There are things that just are not well explained to begin. Some of them become more clear as you go along. Apparently I was able to catch onto enough that I will give more of the series a try. Interesting idea with having werewolves and shadow wolves both shifting.

This is the third installment in Ms. Banks werewolf series. Ms. Banks has put her own spin on this genre just as she has done with vampires. Looking forward to the next book due in the fall of 09.

This book had so many twists and turns complete with the passion LA Banks is known for. The Crimson Moon Novels are right up their with her Vampire Huntress Legends.

It seems to be a trend with LA Banks...is she under contract or forced to write so many books via series. She does well in the beginning series, then around 3/4 loses me as the reader, only okay read...and plot doesn't thicken, character development is expected but disjointed or loses me, and this book had quite a few characters more...Fae, vamps, wolves, were, and shadow wolves...hm. Dragons--lost me...ending wasn't a cliffhanger or exciting, but will see how book 4 goes. We have the series on site, also get the eBook version to complete.
I borrowed a copy or two.

If you're looking for a paranormal read, this series has it all. The female character is a bad a**. There is romance and a great storyline. The entire series had me hooked. It's not the traditional werewolf story, but it's still a good read

This is a very complicate storyline. It starts four weeks after the UCW conference. Things have started to settle down, but bitterness and tempers are still simmering. And some characters haven’t overcome their previous problems.
*Spoilers Below*
It’s almost too hard to unravel or find the storyline. There are clues, cover-ups, lies, dream walking and attacks, so many individuals and groups shadow traveling everywhere at the drop of a hat. No place was safe or stayed at very long. A lot of new types of supes are introduced. Making it hard to focus on or enjoy anything.
I though Hunter had gotten control of his bad stuff and he and Sasha were getting along better from the previous book. Guess not. Sounds like he might have in this one, but I can’t be sure. And I don’t like the idea of Shogun joining the relationship. I like the guy, but prefer Hunter. It’s like an Edward/Jacob kind of thing.
Sasha and Hunter are both to blame for their relationship problems. I love when she confronts him in the ally, though she should have hit him again. But then later she makes a similar mistake. I wondered how they were going to resolve that one. Worked out just right.
And while I know some bad guys died, it’s still questionable about others. I am soo glad that little SOB Dana got what she had coming.
I love, love, love Sir Rodney. He is so wise, diplomatic and yet fun. I hope I get to see a lot more of him. Maybe they should all just let the Fae handle all the governing stuff. But then they’d probably become bias themselves and it’d mess up their culture.
Corny line of the year: ‘Because he’s not heavy. He’s my brother.’
Quick Thoughts: 1)What ever happened to Fred the Fish in the first book? Sasha seemed to really love that fish, but after leaving it with friend, she never went back for it or even mentioned it.
2)I’ve always been interested in how the titles of books fit into the story. This one was almost thrown in as an afterthought. ‘Oh, yeah, we need to put the title in somewhere.’
3)I sure learned a lot about white tea.
Fave Scenes:S&H talking in their room after the big fight make-up sex, the agreement with the fairies, the Fae’s castle and the ‘truth or lies’ trial book.
