The Alpha walks towards me and I raise an eyebrow. When he gets to point where our distance reduced to about half a meter in front of me I drop from the desk and stand up.
"Whoa, there cowboy." I say as I hold my hands up. My jaw drops when I realize what he's actually trying to say. "Hold up. Are you saying I'm your mate? Because, well, I don't... uh... How do I put this simply... I don't feel you... Bro." I say as I dodge him and his disgusting stalker-ish approach of walking towards me.
"You seem to think that you have a choice." The Alpha says to me with a smirk and I roll my eyes.

No wonder i felt familiar when i first read this book because it was from Wattpad! I dont remember if i have read this on Wattpad before but im thrilled to read it again. Im so happy when i found out books from Wattpad are being published and it's no different with this book. I love the sassy and strong female character. I love the characters development and the interactions between the characters the author mentioned from the first chapter. Some books i read, their characters keep floating and sinking here and there until at one point, i stop reading altogether. I love the plot even though there were a little confusing parts here and there, but overall im glad that i read this book.
Told from Elairs POV whos is a tough she wolf and some from Maddox POV who is suppose to be an intriguing alpha. However I felt how the characters where initially written fell flat part way through. There was lot of descriptive writing on Elairs her appearance which annoyed me somewhat. The storyline was ok but was vague and not told indepth, it focussed more on cleansing her and her not so present bond. It was difficult to feel the deep emotions of the characters and their feelings because of how it was written. The characters started off well but for me it felt they became someone else half way through. There was romance in that alpha meets his mate but that was it This was due to the fact the bond wasnt there on Elairs side it was really more lust and pretending to feel. Apart from wanting to be with Elair and the holding of her waist the Alpha Maddoxs feelings were forever not present.
1. Did I like the resolution? It is good that is not perfect. So the answer is a yes, I liked it. 2. Had a good plot twist? Yes, but it did not hit as it should have because the plot was weird to keep up with. 3. Where Characters' personalities relevant? Mmm yes? I think yes. Not a strong yes, but yes. 4. Did it have Intelligent dialogue? 3/5 5. Did the Story have coherence? There were some elements that were not that clear. It was a lot to take for just one book. Needs more world-building. 6. Would I read it again? More no than yes. So let say maybe. 7. Did you skip over at some point? No, but it was easy to tear myself away from the book, which in most cases is not something you want your reader to be able to do. 8. Did you consider DNF? Noup, it was intriguing enough that I would come back to read the end, even though I took long breaks. 9. If it is a whole series, would you consider reading it? Yeap.
There are a lot of elements that need to be defined. Is like you must have some laws as to how the magic and creatures interact and once that is formed you should ease the reader into that world. With that little detail, I am sure this would have been an easy 4/5 or 5/5, in my opinion.
This book was a gem! Im so glad I stumbled across it. It was extremely well written, had an amazing storyline with twists and turns to keep you entertained. The characters were multidimensional and i found myself engaged throughout the book.
The heroine was one tuff chick. She wasn't easily subdued and that made for an interesting story. I liked seeing the alpha struggle to take control.
The hero was a little mysterious and came across dangerous and alluring. As alpha of the pack he was a strong character and you wanted him to succeed.
A typical werewolf romance/ soulmate story with a bit of mystery thrown in. I would have liked a bit more hate in the love/hate romance and a bit more interaction between Elair and her family. I think this book focused a bit too much on the romance and the wider power plays and I would have liked to have seem more secondary characters as well as seeing more of Elair finding her place in the new pack.
Honestly there's something really strange about this book that makes it really hard to read but I can't quite put my finger on it. The main character is really unlikable and strange, constantly complaining but for reasons I wasn't able to understand. Her motivations seemed non-existant and her relationship with her mate was hard to buy because for some reason he barely talked at all over the course of the book.
This book was confusing as hell. I don't know if there's more to the series either which is annoying. It's a pretty good book if you can get your head around it all, the characters kind of lacked the depth though
Great story! Strong female character who didn't cover and didn't complain when life screwed her over! It's a story of tough decisions and learning how to make the best of the situation you are in. HE is there but it's a good one.

It had me from the first chapter. If you enjoy shifter mate books this is an awesome one and more! It had great characters, relationships and a storyline that kept me on my toes. I would definitely recommend.
There is some errors with formatting, grammar and spelling, but overall it is a well written book. The author provides all the necessary elements for a good book!
I really loved your book on Wattpad. It was very awesome to see a fiesty character and how when she wants what she wants she goes for it. I also like Maddox character to and his tough and a little possessiveness but not to much. I also love the twist and turns of this story thatt you never see coming. This is a really AMAZING book and I'm glad i got to be apart of it :).
I must say that I was really hooked in this story when I read it on Wattpad and that it made me even more obsessed with werewolves (and everything about them). Nique Joaquin did a great job with her wide imagination from her characters to the unexpected twists. Break Me, Mate is worth reading. I loved it and you'll definitely love it too!
Fell in love with this book on Wattpad and was definitely excited to have it available on my kindle. Would recommend to others, have already done so to friends. Congratulations Nique!
This book was amazing! I read it on wattpad and fell in love immediately . This story will have you on the edge of your seat and I can't wait to buy a paperback copy!
