Interactive Web Graphics With Shout3D

The demand for animations and 3D graphics on the Web is growing exponentially. Web users' expectations of what they should find on a site are becoming more sophisticated, and businesses are eager to create a site that meets those expectations and needs. Shout3D is a software tool that delivers interactive 3D/animation content directly to a Web site without the need for a browser plug-in. Though other tools can accomplish 3D delivery. Shout is the only one that does not require the viewer of the site to perform an extra task to see content, something that is seen by businesses (and users) as a roadblock to using a site. The software costs $200 and requires some knowledge of Java programming to use. Visitors to the site can see the content for free, of course.

About the author

I'm a native Californian who has never lived anywhere else. Raised in Los Angeles, but moved to the Bay Area after UCLA and (with very minor exceptions) have lived my entire adult life in the forested hills above Oakland - a remarkably beautiful place that most people have no idea exists. I went to law school and became a lawyer, but couldn't stick with it. Spent some solid years in tech, mostly in 3D computer graphics.

But a writer is a writer is a writer - there's just no escaping it. It took a lot of work, but I finally got my fiction to the level where it's fair to ask for the precious time and attention of the serious reader.

I've been married for a good long time, and have a daughter who is just graduating college.
