A new series that my 2nd grade daughter recently discovered at our school’s Scholastic Book Fair. I asked her for a rating and she gave it a solid 5 stars. I asked her for a summary and she shared that each of the ponies have different abilities. This book features a pony that has a horn that glows so brightly it can light up the entire forest! She really enjoyed this book despite not reading books 1 and 2. Will have to rectify that soon!
I liked how things didn’t go smoothly or perfectly for the pony and princess. The author did a good job showing determination, creativity, and resilience. My 5 year old has come to love this series!
Wonderful! Let It Glow is about a bright little pony named Electra who loves to be at the top! When she is faced with a challenge she gets inside her head and starts to doubt herself. This book is my favorite so far in the series because it is so relatable! It teaches one to never give up on your dreams no matter the obstacles in the way. It is a wonderful lesson for all ages to learn.
