This is my redemption. This is me getting my girl back.
Love was never in Dalton Douglas' vocabulary until Gabby stumbled into his bedroom one drunken night. He fell for her. She fell for him - until secrets were revealed that tore them and their entire world apart.
Now Gabby is gone, and Dalton has no idea where she's run off to. Then he's brought in for questioning about the murder of the woman they'd been investigating. When they mention Gabby's name and ask about her whereabouts, Dalton knows he has to find her, keep her safe, and win her love back all at the same time.
Can Dalton redeem himself? Will Gabby forgive him? Or will karma win?

Normalito!
5 UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING STARS It feels like decades since I've been waiting on this book! O_O I forever love Gabby and Dalton. That sexy dirty talker (even though it wasn't alot - I hung 0n to all he said lol)
This read didn't waste anytime in delving right into the mix. With Gabby running off to Asher in Miami and Dalton? Oh he's in the police station being questioned for murder. No biggie
:D
Ha...I lie I lie.
Suspected of murder, Dalton found himself more worried about keeping Gabby safe, and winning her back. He was resilient and I love the fact that after he realized he fuck up he didn't hesitate to right his wrong. It was a pretty cut deal that he'll win her back. I personally didn't see the big issue to give him a second chance after he poured his heart out (he was borderlining pussy yo. But I already love him, just had close my eyes and remember...Remember I did ;) Hmmmm)
The mystery behind the murder was really good. I knew ___ had something to do with it but I wasn't prepared for the way that person went about it. It was simply ingenious and am still mentally applauding how the twist and turns took place.
Karma just keeps hitting Gabby all over though! I didn't much like how that aspect went so smoothly, it felt borderline cheesy for chips to fall in place so effortlessly, but hey - they had bigger things to deal with.
The crime for me was a big thing and them co[s annoyed the fuck out of me .___. Utter fuckery and sloppy too.
Buuuut, my wait has concluded!
I can happily close the story for Gabby and Dalton. I truly love their story and can honestly say am satisfied.
Pues claro, también amé este!!!! Awww!!!!
Cute plot. Could have been one book, not two. Lots of grammatical errors. Example: "This made me lose disrespect for him." What? The book was sort of a crime/thriller, but the author really needed to perform some research first....or just watch a few true crime shows. There were threatening letters sent to the victim before her death. The author states that no DNA was found on the letters. No mention of fingerprints, which is more plausible than a person licking the letters. Sometimes, was hard to follow. Her back was too his chest, but now is wrapping both arms around his neck and kissing. Okay? Maybe? Also, it was like the author was lost in the story and who the characters were. Example: Chapter Narrator is Gabby- "Cora was hosting the baby shower at her house with Gabby. What? This is Gabby? Do you mean Cora with Daisy, the other friend of Gabby? not worth the time I spent reading.
Gabby and Dalton went through the ringer in the first book, and the second book definitely pushed them to new extremes!
Bring on a murder, an angry wife, a deranged family life, and a giant surprise, these two go through it all in this book. Overall, I did enjoy the story of Gabby and Dalton but do feel like it was rushed in some parts. It is somewhat a sleuthing story when they need to try to clear there names in order to fulfill the future they are hoping for.
- “I’m asking. No, I’m begging for you to give me another chance. Forgive me.” My voice cracked in the end from desperation. I was looking at the woman I loved, nervous she’d no longer be mine again and that I’d ruined the best thing to ever happen to me.
Destroyed...that’s how Dalton felt. He screwed up...he was trying to havenit all, fix it all and he lost her. But he’s not giving up. She is his and he is hers. Nothing could ever be more right. More than their relationship is balancing precariously on the edge. A murder, his family, her family, and surprise coming their way. Karmas really gonna hand it to them this time. Good ending to Gabby and Dawson’s story. A few twists and turns make it all the more interesting.
I guess Dalton redeemed himself, but I still don't like him. Gabby deserved better. So much better.
I'm happy that she made up with her mother and that Asher found his own happiness after everything. I should also say I'm relieved that the whole "who did it" question was answered accurately, and no innocent lives were ruined.
It's not my favorite duet, but I give credit where credit is due, and it was well written. Maybe it will be someone's favorite. Give it a try.

The ending to Gabby and Dalton's story was a beautiful one! From page one, you're grabbed with the mystery and intriguing questions from where the first book left off. The drama and story doesn't let up throughout.
From the beginning I was rooting for Dalton and Gabby. Thus book has everything from romance to intrigue and mystery but in the end love won out and the good guys won and Karma was really a bitch.
