Authors Note: This book is a Romantic Suspense meaning it may contain subject matter that may be sensitive for certain readers. That being said, this is not erotica. This means, there is sex...but there's also more story line. I hope you take a chance on my debut novel and leave a review whether you like it or hate it.
I received this for an honest review... As this is a first book for this author I thought it was amazing well done.. I found myself captivated by these characters not only the mains but the secondary ones as well...
This book just really kept me enthralled all the way through and I cant wait for the next one in the series

Author Reagan Hollow is a breakthrough author from Atlanta, Georgia. Reading has always been her passion and she's always longed to write a book. Her debut novel, Finding Home releases on July 17th, 2016. She also enjoys spending time with her four kids and her hubs who always keep her on her feet.
Her writing will be along the lines of Romantic Suspense and Paranormal
I received an ARC in an exchanged for an honest review.
This book is Reagan Hollow's first book adventure into indie author and she did very well. The book starts with Lacy being a witness to her parents murder in a convience store, she travels around foster cares until she is out of system. She decides on a fresh start and moves to the north east. Here she meets her new room mate who is a bar tender at a night club that caters to BDSM tastes. Her room mate brings her to the club where she mets Cory the owner of the club.
Cory's life is set and he does want to have girl interfere with the life he leads, until Lacy is attacked at the club and Cory makes his personal mission to protect her and find out how she was attacked. The thing with Cory is that he ran cold and hot so many times it almost gave me whiplash. It was like he couldn't decide what he wanted, I felt he was almost mean to Lacy, like it was her fault she was attacked at his club. The sex scenses were well written and very hot.
The other thing that bothered me about this book was I felt the author was telling me the story and not showing me. I felt I was skimming through the book and not anchored in the story, attached to the characters. There were times I had to retread several passages to understand what was going on because of the feeling of detachment.
One thing I did like is the cliffhanger...and that is all I'm saying about that. I give this story 3/5 stars.
What a wonderful surprise this book was to me. This is Reagan Hollow's debut novel and I would never have guessed it. Ms Hollow has written the first novel, in what I will assume will be a series, with all the confidence and flair of an author who has been writing for many many years. She pulls the reader in from the very first page and keeps them there until the very last. Yes, I was one of them, I simply could not book this book down.
Lacey Carter, a young woman who has spent her formative years being move from foster home to foster home, as a result of a tragedy, has moved to Seattle to begn her life over again, after yet another life changing incident. There she befriends Amber, who is a character that also has some secrets and Cory, Amber's boss.
Cory Lewis, wealthy, good looking, HOT and the owner of a business that is considered highly illegal. He too has a tragic past that has affected his life and made him the man that he is today.
The attraction between Lacey and Cory is instantaneous, the flames start burning inside and they need to be doused. I love the interaction between these two. The general banter they have, the glimpses they try to hide from each other, the full on staring but mostly the way in which their bodies react when the other is around.
But all is not as it seems as someone from Lacey's past comes back to haunt her. Once again her world is turned inside out. How will this new intrusion into her life affect her blossoming relationship with Cory? Will he be able to keep the woman he is growing to love?
Yes the book does end on a huge cliffhanger, but it does not detract from the overall story. Ms Hollow has done her book proud - she has kept the suspense level high and keeps her reader guessing as to what is actually going on. The way in which the story flows is exceptional, building to that final climax, that will have every reader screaming out their lungs!!!!!
This is definitely a book that deserves a FIVE STAR rating.
Review written for Reading Is Our Satisfaction Blog.
How far would you go to get away from a cheating, no good of a boyfriend? Well, Lacey is done! Enough is enough and she decides what better way to forget and move on than to pick up and leave her old life to start a new one in Seattle. There she befriends Amber, her new roommate. Amber brings Lacey to the club she works at as a bartender. There is where she meets the sexy and very intriguing Cory, Amber's boss and owner of the club. Lacey is instantly drawn to Cory, but after what she has been through she keeps her cool. Her first night in Seattle ends up being one very unforgettable one, when Lacey's drink is spiked and she loses consciences. When she wakes up, she is in Cory's home. He is determined in finding who drugged Lacey, and gives his oath to protect her. While working on finding the person responsible, Cory is adamant about Lacey staying with him in his home. As time passes, Lacey and Cory grow closer, they share the demons of the their pasts, and feeling grow stronger. Eventually they both give into their desires and give themselves completely to each other. Things look like they are turning up for Lacey and Cory, until Cory is called away to the office to investigate a lead in Lacey's case, and Lacey turns up missing. Who is the mystery person responsible for Lacey's drugging? Can Cory save Lacey, or will it be to late? What a great debut novel for author Reagan Hollow. I loved Lacey and Cory's connection and how they brought out the best of each other. Ms. Hollow left us with one heck of a cliffhanger and some unanswered questions. Can't wait for the next installment to see the fate of Lacey and Cory. Well done Ms. Hollow, well done!
The book started as Lacey Carter aged 10 who on the way to a holiday with her parents stops at a gas station to use the bathroom a robbery ensues and her parents are murdered. It takes up where she is 18 and engaged to her boyfriend Aaron , but upon returning home finds him in bed with her best friend Alison. This is the last straw for Lacey, so she packs what little belongings she has and answers an advert for a room to share in Seattle, Washington hoping to put as much distance between her now ex Aaron and her ex friend. In Seattle we meet Amber who is the girl she is going to be sharing with so Amber takes her to the club she works at as a bartender, where Lacey lays eyes on Cory Lewis the clubs owner. After only having a few drinks Lacey blacks out and wakes to realise she is not in her own bed but that of Corys, who tells her that her drink was spiked and he brought her to his place for her own safety. What follows is a joy to read as Cory opens up about his past and they realise they are falling for each other....................... until he receives a call saying they have found the person who spiked her drink leaving Lacey alone at his house and leaving us with a cliffhanger. I couldn't put this book down and cannot wait for the second instalment as I was gripped from start to finish so far I give this 5 stars
this is the first book i've read by this author and I am glad I did, its not an erotica novel but has a good splash of raunchy sex scences, however the main story is a mystary suspence, with Lacey been stalked, after been drugged in a nightclub her new landlady lives in. Her landlords boss take an intrest in Lacey and deems it his responcabilty to care for her and ensure shes safe, But can he ?
This book has loads of twists and turns withtin the plot to keep you turning those pages like a woman(or man ) possessed, the ending leaves you on a cliff hanger i will warn you, but it is the right place to leave the book, ready for the explosive 2nd book in the series.
The characters are really strong and have a bond that is believable, what a night in shinning armour that Cory is and Hot to boot, and this book to your TBR you wont be disappointed its an amazing fast paced complex story that will leave you wanting more
4 DARK CLUB STARS I am still surprised to know that this is a debut novel by the author, although throughout the book one cannot say that it is a first book by an author. I pretty much liked her way of writing and her character building as well.. This book starts with the story of a small town girl Lacey, who then shifts to Seattle due to some incidents in her life. She has been through tragic events in her past as well but finally when she overcomes all these circumstances and settles in Seattle where she meets Amber her roommate and Cory, Amber's boss... Oh i loved Cory Lewis sooo damn much man..! Cory is the owner of a bar and yesss! you can guess what a hot personality he can be..! The book was quite suspenseful and page turner, (Im not gonna spoil it at all). Because I myself went in this book blind, and i really enjoyed it. But it was a cliffhanger and i hattteeee it...!! Can't wait to read the next book now! Highly recommended..!
I chose this book on a whim because I was looking for something completely new to me. This seems to be the first book for the author. I managed to stay focused and into the book until I was finished with it. That’s when I started trying to figure out what one thing had to do with the other and how it was tied together, which is something I hope will be answered in the next book. I really needed something more than one chapter from Cory’s POV to really connect with him. I liked this book, but I can’t call it great until I see how or if all of the pieces are going to come together. Since there was focus on it, I expect that what happened when Lacey was ten is going to be relevant to what is happening with Aaron and Cory. This author will stay on my watch list because I really enjoyed her style and her characters.
I'm kind of torn with this book. It is a quick, catchy, punchy read. It has characters that work well together and individually. Like Alex and Amber...they may be secondary characters at the minute but they've got a real presence about them, something that I'm looking forward to exploring in the future.
The first half of the book is page turningly suspenseful BUT when a certain point in the book comes (you'll know it when you get there, I'm not spoiling!) it becomes a bit predictable and a tadge repetitive.
I am looking forward to book 2 though. From the ending of this one, it sounds like it is going to be a heady mix of masculine dominance and protection.
My Review of Finding Home by Reagan Hollow My Rating 4 Stars What a fabulous debut book, The writing just had a way of pulling you in and keeping you there. I loved many elements of this dark and twisted story it’s raw and has so much passion It’s off the charts crazy hot! I can’t wait to see what she bring us next! **Received an ARC from the Author in exchange for an honest review** **Reviewed for Hellmouth’s Bookblog & Reviews**
Reagan... You, girl, kick butt! This book was so good; I could not put it down. I heard a lot of good things about this book, so when I noticed I had the opportunity to read it, I did not hesitate to snatch it up! This book starts out on an epic rollercoaster ride of emotions and does not let you off until the last page. When I say page turner, I mean a serious page turner.
Lacey is one strong heroine. You get to see her battle as a child when she loses her parents, and then as she gets older and life just doesn't seem to let up on her. Aaron, let me just say, ugh! I wanted to like him, I did! But a turn f events just made me despise him. Then you have Cory. MMM, Cory. Anyways, he is just another one of those characters that adds to the many twists and turns of this amazing read!
Now, I'm off to read Finding Strength because I fell head over heels in love with these characters.
I really enjoyed this book by Reagan Hollow. Lacey comes from a difficult past, with her parents murdered when she was young. She's had to grow up in the system, and her life hasn't been an easy one. When she meets Cory through her friend Amber, the sparks are immediate, and you can sense the connection between them. I loved the dialogue and the way their attraction only grew with each page. It was a really good debut novel.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Love the cover! Found the characters encaptivating. Not all were likable, but all grabbed and kept my attention. Definitely not a book to pick up late at night to help you sleep, as I could not put it down.
This book starts out with a tragic event it the live of young Lacey. As Lacey grows, she discovers that her fiance is cheating on her, which propels her to leave her small town and start new. One day in her new life, and a visit to her new roommate's work, and she is drugged. She wakes up in the club owner's home. Cory is a complicated character. He runs an exclusive club, a sex club, where people are not drugged. Even though he feels personally responsible, there is something more that draws him to Lacey.
This was the author's debut novel and I was thrilled to find it. I was mesmerized until the last page and I can't wait to read more. I need to read more. The mystery is fantastic, and the pull between Cory, who is used to being in control, and Lacey, who is trying to take control, is unmistakable. It is sexy and hot. 5-stars and waiting patiently to find out what happens!!!! *Note-there is a cliffhanger!
I’ll start out saying this has a cliffhanger! Book 2, Finding Strength, will be out January 17, 2017. I didn’t realize at the time that it would have a cliffy. Although I am happy to hear that I get more Cory and Lacey. Plus… I mean that ending was amazing!! Totally took me by surprise!!
This is Reagan Hollow’s debut novel and I really think she did great. The storyline really pulls you in and keeps you interested right at the start of the book. Lacey has such a hard life. It was like she just couldn’t catch a break and anything bad that could happen… would happen to Lacey. I do wish this was a dual POV story though; I’m not counting the 1 chapter at the end. There was so much mysteriousness with Corey that I think being in his head a bit to would have helped me be a bit more invested in him. I know that can totally be preference though and I know, I love dual POV.
The fact that Cory took Lacey out on motorcycle ride and the beautiful way Hollow wrote this part makes me think she's at least been on the back of a bike before. There's something that feels so safe when you wrap your arms around your man and cruise down the road. I think Hollow conveyed that closeness perfectly of driver and passenger and she's making me miss being up against the back of my husband.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Finding Home is Reagan Hollow's debut novel and the first in what is looking to be a very enjoyable new romantic suspense series.
Lacey Carter returns home to find her fiance in bed with her best friend, needing a new start, she answers a personal ad from soon to be new BFF Amber and moves to Seattle to leave her past behind her. Amber works for sexy club owner Cory Lewis, and when Cory and Lacey first meet the attraction between them is instantaneous. The two grow closer, and when Lacey finds herself in danger, Cory will stop at nothing to protect her.
Finding Home ended on a cliff hanger and I cannot wait for the next book to find out what happens! The story was a real page turner and had me gripped from the start. The relationship between the two leads was well developed, they had a great connection and I loved how protective Cory was of Lacey. I'm looking forward to how Reagan Hollow develops the supporting characters as well and I hope Amber gets her own book. This definitely will not be my last book from this author and I would recommend it to lovers of romantic suspense.
I received an ARC of Finding Home from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I lucked up on this book and it was a stroke of good luck. This being the debut novel for this writer is well done. As the book progressed you could feel her getting more comfortable with her way of sharing a story. And that's how it felt, like she was sharing a story not like it was actually coming from the characters. But that doesn't mean it was bad it just doesn't allow you to truly connect with some pretty good and strong characters and really become invested in the story. We get a lot of background which helps you understand why Lacey is so skittish and distrustful. It also shows why she was alone and easy prey for someone like Aaron.
All in all this is a great strong story with a couple of twist you don't see coming and there were times when I just knew something would happen only to be found wrong. I like that and I really liked Lacey and Cory. I'm really feeling Alex. I believe it is a book that will be enjoyed by all, a little heat and passion, some intrigue, and some twist all make it worth the time.
For being her first novel, it was good.. however I would suggest anyone who has grammar issues do not read this book, if you have issues with a story jumping around or things not flowing properly, do not attempt.. that being said, this book has major potential, it kept me interested from chapter 3.. lol yes it was slow to start out, but trust me, stick with it, it's really actually a good book for being her first one, the only creative criticism I can give, is to get a better editor as this one didn't do a very good job, and get some beta readers, if there are beta readers, get better ones.. ;) happy reading :)
This book truly has a little bit of everything in it. It has a love story, mystery, a little thriller vibe. Really you couldn't get many more genre in it.
Your leading lady Lacy has truly had a rough life to be so young. Can she find the love of her life? Can she find what she's been looking for? HOME
Cory is your average rich guy. Play hard with no attachments needed. He's running from his past but to move forward he must face his demons. Can he let his one mistake go to gain Love?
For a debut, this story is off the charts! I can't believe how raw and passionate the lead character and storyline are!
If you are looking for dark and twisted, look no further! Dive in and get pulled into the crazy with me! This author explodes into existence and we will standing in line chomping at the bit waiting for "what next"!~
This was a first for me from this author. I was gifted a copy by Reagan after watching a live feed on Facebook and getting to know her as a writer. Being new to her writing I was curious as to her writing methods as she explained the book in the live video, Being warned a head of time that it was left on a cliffhanger only made me more curious to read. So the background of the book : we follow the life of Lacey who at a young aged lost both her mother and father in a robbery on their way to a family vacation, after spending three years in the system of foster care she is moved from her home town to her current location. The story then beings thirteen years later now out of the system with a steady job and a childhood friend who became her fiancé for the last two years she feels life is much better until she finds her fiancé cheating on her in their home with her best friend, after that she runs as far as possible moving 700 miles away. After meting her new room mate her first night in a new city don't go to plan as she's drugged in the club her new room mate works at. The roommates boss Cory take s it upon himself to protect her as things like this has never happened in his club before after a few weeks and a few intermate exchanges the pair start to have a relationship and they both open up to each other about their past life. Cory has his team investigating who drugged her only to find out to late who it was and now Lacey is missing. The cliffhanger is left with Cory now needing to find Lacey before it's to late!
This book was awesome for a first read from a new author and I can't wait to read the second part of this story to find out what happens to Lacey and her love story with Cory
Lacey is travelling on a holiday with her parents, when everything goes wrong. Lacey gets moved around from foster home to foster home, until a new case worker finds her a permanent home, but it’s away from her hometown. After finishing high school everything seems to finally be working for her with her life seeming to be perfect, until she arrives home at her apartment and her world falls apart. Deciding that she needs to get away from everything, she finds an apartment in Seattle, and becomes fast friends with her new room-mate Amber. Amber takes Lacey to her work and she feels Cory first before she sees him, the way he makes her feels she has never felt before, but the night takes a turn when Lacey collapses and wakes up in Cory’s bed. Cory has an instant protectiveness over Lacey, determined to find out who drugged her. Cory and Lacey share some steamy moments, with their connection undeniable, then Lacey gets confused when he wants her close but doesn’t touch her. Learning why Cory has been holding back, Lacey says it doesn’t matter and Cory lets her know there’s no going back now and although Lacey knows there will be complications she decides he’s worth it. Cory wants Lacey to attend a charity function with him, when Lacey sees what he sends for her to wear, Lacey feels she can’t, only to be reassured by Cory. Lacey can’t help when they are at the function that she feels like someone is watching her, although Cory reassures her, the feeling stays with her. With Cory needing to go to his club, with a lead on the person who hurt her, Lacey decides to go for a walk and that becomes one of her biggest mistakes. Ends in a cliffhanger.
This is one of those books that's kind a hard to review with out giving away things that make you feel from the book. So this is going to be pretty short and sweet.
Lacey had such a perseverance as a character despite everything that she had been through and I found it she got my respects pretty much from the very beginning. I really did love her she was a character.
I really enjoyed all the secondary characters, Cory and Amber were great for Lacey and all that she ran through. I really think that Cory is perfect for Lacey, and all his protectiveness really brings the book full circle.
The part was very fast-paced and I felt that I really enjoyed that fact. There wasn't a whole bunch of fluff just added in to make it longer, you get the story and everything that's important to the story without a whole bunch of not so important stuff. This book is definitely for suspense lovers.
Overall, for being this authors first book, I thought she did really amazing job and I definitely look forward to reading more about these characters and other books that she rides in the future. 4 stars #2OCCJD
ARC PROVIDED FOR HONEST REVIEW Spoilers included Lacey Carter had an idyllic childhood-fishing with Dad & cooking with Mom. A horrific event happens and Lacey is left alone and goes through the system. Years later she has graduated college and is writing for a small town paper in Montana and designing web sites. Engaged to her best friend and lover Aaron, she is content. However, coming home early one day she finds Aaron and her best friend naked and in bed. Time for a major life change! She answers a roommate wanted ad in Seattle Washington. Lacey's new roommate Amber has a beautiful apartment and a job at Club Dark as a bartender. Lacey accompanies Amber one evening and meets Cory Lewis, the clubs hot owner, and the attraction is instant. While at the bar, Lacey's drink is drugged and she wakes the next morning in the bed of Mr Lewis---for her protection and to see who did this and why! I enjoyed the flow of this story-and gave it 4 stars because of some errors (Corey then Cory and hyphenated words when they didn't need to be hyphenated) and the cliffhanger end felt a bit rushed. I am looking forward to see how Amber and Alex connect (wow) and how Cory can locate his woman!

This is my first time reading Reagan Hollow. I thoroughly enjoyed Finding Home (A Club Dark Novel)! The storyline is great and the character connection is strong. I normally don't mention editing in my reviews, however this particular book could use a good once over in that department. The errors I came across led me to not enjoy the story as much. All in all, I'm curious to see what happens for Lacey and Cory next! Two characters with troubled pasts; have built walls around their hearts. As their walls crumble, could it be that they are 'Finding Home' in each other? Will the dangers that lurk destroy any chance they may have?
Lacey is heartbroken, crushed. She just discovered her fiance betraying her in the worst possible fashion: by sleeping with her best friend. In an effort to escape her broken life, Lacey leaps at the chance to move across the country and start a new life.
Her new roommate, Amber, takes Lacey with her to work, in an effort to "get Lacey out there." Club Dark is a high end gentleman's club, and Lacey is equally appalled and fascinated by the club and what happens there.
Cory is the owner of the club, and tasks Amber with keeping an eye on Lacey. But something goes horribly wrong, and Lacey passes out. Lacey thinks it's because of the alcohol; but was it, or something more malevolent happening?
