Alien Romance #3

This was one of those stories that you can relax while you are reading it. While there is some conflicts, they are relatively low keyed. The storyline has romance, misunderstandings, and sex, covering the necessary parts for an alien/human interaction. The characters were interesting, with the hero a bit of a dominating chauvinist and the heroine more than a bit strong headed. But there is a happy ending, so read it and enjoy.

2.7 Stars. Why not more stars? The idea behind the book was cute but there were a couple things that kept me from truly enjoying it.

Kendra is broke so she decides to look in the classifieds and agrees to do a scientific study. This study turns out to be done by aliens and all they really want is a baby the old fashion way. When she walks into a room and it's full of aliens she doesn't bat an eyelash at that. I think if you saw an alien for the first time a bit more of a reaction would be warranted. For some reason this lack of reasonable reaction really bothered me. Then once she finds out all that's involved. She agrees she doesn't even ask questions. She has no problem giving up a child in exchange for money. She doesn't even ask about visitation. Her lack of care about leaving behind and never seeing her child really bothered me. The rest of the book was fine once I was willing to overlook those issues.

Kendra experiences a whole new world complete with culture and politics. She falls in love and gets her HEA.
