Stoned and Boned: A Steamy Love Story
She is conducting an interview for High Times while harboring a secret. He runs the largest legal marijuana operation in Colorado and loves money above all else. Can they break through and make sense of their worlds as they come together?

Brent Stone

I run the biggest legal marijuana operation in Colorado, and I’m not about to let anyone stand in my way as I grow my wealth with weed. After she comes into the picture, so secretive and sexy, I lose my way for a minute. If I’ve learned anything becoming the King of Pot, it’s that money talks and women are a dime a dozen. Still, there’s something about her that pushes all my buttons.

Heidi Hill

He thinks I’m a reporter for High Times, but my job is as far away from the media as you can get. During my first interview with him, his stretch SUV is attacked by the cartel. My true mission is dangerous, but I can’t seem to keep my mind – or my hands – off him. This brash, cocky, and tattooed bad boy is not going to distract me from what’s important. Not even with that rock hard body and fabulous blue eyes.

Hm, this story was interesting but not sure if it was the full story or not since, I read it in the back of another book. Because of how the ending ended. I don't think that was the end Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. Lol, I was curious to see if he'd find out that she works for the DEA and that dude is her father. But when he left to walk back to his room that was it.

Stoned is the first book by Abbie Hemp that I have read and it was a pleasant easily read story, with interesting characters and a clearly thoughtout plot. I definitely enjoyed Stone and I will very likely read more of her work. The banter between the main characters was full of double entendre and it was a light-hearted affair between two mature 30 somethings.. Full of vitality and freshness.

She likes jumping all in. puddles and all. ( ;

copy received from author for honest review
2.5 stars
The story had potential. It started off pretty good with the excitement of the car ride. It was entertaining. The dialogue between the characters was a little immature for their age and the fact that she was DEA and he was the owner of a million dollar company. Some of the things that happened seemed out of sync for those types of characters. Everything was just a little to casual. Brent was just a little to trusting/casual about his affairs. The story was pretty fast paced. It was a little rushed. a few plot holes. overall it was ok.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book....

This is the first novel I've read by Abbi Hemp. I was a little disappointed. The plot had potential and what action was there was great. The characters were immature and really didn't have any depth to them. I had a hard time relating to them as well. Abbi get a great job with the legalization of weed in Colorado even though I didn't agree with the subject matter. I look forward to reading more from this author to see how she grows in her writing. She has potential!

Gifted an ARC for an honest review....
This book had potential, it had an interesting premise and compelling characters. However, half way through the book, it just became ridiculous. The bad guy situation was so unrealistic, it was laughable. Brent could have been better developed, he was rich and hot, but not a lot else. The ending kinda left me scratching my head. This appears to be the first book by this author, so maybe the next will be better.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This was a very fast read with really likable characters. I read this book in one afternoon at the beach - the perfect place to read.

The story is right up there with today's news stories - legalization of marijuana. The story has a very interesting concept how one man,Brent Stone, can become a multimillionaire of of the legalization of pit. Every pot heads dream!!! Lol

I would definitely recommend this book to all.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and felt it was a decent beach read. It reads very quickly but I felt the characters were a little flat and part just jumped too much and should have been a bit more developed. I would recommend if you are a looking for a quick beach read.

I enjoyed reading STONED

I enjoyed reading STONED mostly because the concept was different to say the least. This is the first time that I have a book that included the legalization of Marijuana much less one showing that not all pot smokers are bad people.
The story of Brent and Heidi is epic.

Must read!

Heidi and Brent met while she was undercover. Go on this roller coaster ride to see where it takes them! Emotional reading! Gripping! First time reading this author! But, definitely not the last!

Cartel Potential

I did like that the cartel and a crooked man (so I don't ruin story) wanted in and threatened Brent but that whole part of story became so weak and viola it was easily eradicated and the book returns to its never ended marijuana smoking and sex. Was just bored!!!

I thought this book was interesting but why did I felt like I was well the book was missing something after I finish it even though it wasn't any cliff hangers. Idk, maybe this wasn't the full book I read tsk.
