Elizabeth Dove is bound in a web of secrets.
Living in the manor of Sebastian De Montfort, she fights the dark forces dwelling within the ancient walls of Penmorrow House—and within her own mind. Gripped by inexplicable madness, her one hope is to somehow salvage her relationship with Sebastian, while the dominant lord demands her submission. Is she strong enough to survive?
Sebastian fears for the sanity of the woman he loves.
He is driven to protect and possess Elizabeth, but his loyalties are tested and torn by his devotion to his longtime maid. Scarlett seems to want more from him than he is able to give, but she appears to share his concern for Elizabeth’s increasing madness. His wealth and commanding presence has always bent others to his will, but this time it might not be enough to keep any of them safe.
Grief plays tricks with the mind.
Elizabeth grows distrustful of Sebastian’s feelings for Scarlett, and is convinced the other woman is trying to kill her…but nobody, not even her doctor, believes her.
There are three people in this relationship, and one of them must die.
With sadness, I finished the last book of this amazing trilogy, I cannot congratulate Janey the author of Sebastian Trilogy enough on such fine writing. Very rarely we are captivated by such creativity. from the first book, until the last, it was amazing how many similarities I have found between myself and the characters, and I believe that this is what we want from a great writing, to be able to identify ourselves with at least one character. Congratulations Janey Rosen, you have writen what I consider a fantastic work of art.
This is one of those books that I need to review so I can tell everyone how much I loved it but I don't know what to say because everything feels like a potential spoiler!
Janey Rosen has done a brilliant job of making me paranoid doubting all the characters and wanting to get to the end so I know the truth but at the same time not wanting to carry on because then its going to end.
This was my first book from Janey but I know it won't be my last.
Oh my god what a story, first the undeniable attraction of an affair for Beth who's marriage had hit the rocks, but then to meet Sebastian, who certainly had all she wanted and more, shame about the deaths that had to happen for them to get the chance of happiness, a very will written and enjoyable read.
Awesome I love the trilogy and how one book ends and the next book just picks right up from the ending of the last , u had crying and on the seat of my pants it was a fantisc read and would recommend this Trilogy.
Wow! This boxed set was hot! It had everything you need in a great book! Hotness, intrigue, suspense, dominance, imperfect people trying to make it through life and most of all it has love! I really enjoyed it. It is dark and there are triggers so be aware!
I enjoyed all three books. Felt the bond and love between Elizabeth and Sebastian. They needed each other. Poor Scarlett and her unrequited love. Definitely pick up all three. Dom and his submissives.
Ok so I have to admit that this series dragged on a bit too much for my liking. It's such a strange plot, what I mean is that it's not a typical romance and I have to say I didn't like either Sebastian or Elizabeth. He took dominance to another level and the fact that she liked it but loathed it at the same time got all my nerves. Obviously the story is full of angst, twists, turns and suspense. The sex is very descriptive and maybe a bit over the top. It's a love story, but I didn't feel the love so I found myself skipping some scenes which were drawn out and not really necessary. Obviously it's a HEA but at what cost??? If you enjoy harder dominance stories this is for you, I found myself stopping half way through and coming back to finish the series. It just didn't keep me enthralled so although it had a suspenseful story and plot it wasn't really my cup of tea.
Hmmm, this book took me over a week too read and I'm normally a quick reader. I found it quite hard to persevere at times and others the book had me gripped. Pity the continuity of being gripping to go through the whole book. Also I found Sebastian quite the monster and certainly no Christian grey.
This had it all a hot bloke, affairs, BDSM, murder, attempted murder, and most of all a happy ending. At times I wanted to scream and shout on behalf of Beth I was that engrossed.
