Twin Souls.
One Sacrifice.

Northwestern University senior Zoe Adams has spent her fifth incarnation on the run. Abused and abandoned by those she once trusted, Zoe turns her back on a duty her soul accepted lifetimes ago to focus on a music career in this one. Until her Gemini's untimely arrival forces Zoe to choose between a love she can't remember and a life she's always dreamed of.

Cade Adams has waited twenty-one years to reclaim his beloved soul mate, but his elation is short lived. As Zoe struggles to let go of her human life, demons from Cade and Zoe's past threaten the Gemini, and they find themselves living on borrowed time.

The Tree of Souls is empty, and only an Eternal Sacrifice can refill it. Is forgotten love worth dying for, or is five incarnations more than one soul can take? With more than just the fate of their reunion at stake, love becomes an Eternal Sacrifice Zoe and Cade may not escape.

Nothing's off limits.

When she's not writing guilty pleasures, Dylan plays stage mom to her daydreamer offspring in the Midwest. This Music fangirl goes nowhere without her beats and playlists. She has an affinity for Moscato and chocolate-covered strawberries. Dreams of singing on the Voice with Adam and Christina, and fantasizes about getting trapped in Mystic Falls with Damon Salvatore.

Wow, this was definitely something really original in execution. Gemini was action-packed and full of surprises.

There was definitely progression in the characters and their relationships as the story progressed, and it was such a wild journey to see how Zoe and Cade developed. I've honestly never been a fan of stories with switching perspectives, but I was able to get through this one. I've also always been a little iffy about insta-love (and insta-attraction, but less so, and I think this book was this, rather than insta-love), and to be honest there were moments where I wondered about the basis of Cade and Zoe's relationship, but there was visible growth and I loved how they knew they had to get to know each other before blindly jumping in.

Granted, I was a little confused at the beginning (and at some parts), but it was cleared up for me as the story went on. I do love the fantasy world this story is set in, and I thought it was a fantastic blend of realism and fantasy.

Great Urban Fantasy story!

A book about a man that has to make a woman fall in love with him - again.
If not, the world goes to shit.

It's not an original idea, and it is poorly executed.

What can I tell you about Gemini?

I can tell you that I received an ARC from the author, and I'm over the moon thrilled I did.
I can tell you it's an Urban Fantasy Romance (not my normal genre), but it's out of this world awesome.
I can tell you when I started reading it, I couldn't stop. Like... Could. Not. Put. It. Down.
I can tell you my children were lovingly ignored* while I got deeper and deeper into the story, surrounded by these wonderful soul-full characters who battled demons.
I can tell you Cade is the ultimate swoon-worthy book boyfriend, and so delicious, I could just eat him up.
I can tell you Zoe is wonderful, and behaves as any 21 year-old would, and I appreciated the author writing a character that was relatable.
I can tell you when I finished, I sighed with relief, as the ending was every bit as exciting as I expected it to be.
And I can tell you that you MUST add this to your reading library. It's incredible.
Finally, I can tell you, I'll be the first in line when the next book is released.

*FYI - my hubs was home, so my children were completely taken care. Sometimes a mom just needs to read for a few hours. ;)

Gemini is a phenomenal read, I loved getting to know the characters, especially the mains, Zoe and Cade. This book will make you swoon and fall for Cade. Zoe's world has been turned up side down, the world she knew existed isnt exactly as she thought and now that she knows the world just may rest on her shoulders she's not too sure she can handle it or if she even wants to. The world Dylan Quinn has built, the characters and their personalities are epic. I def wouldnt mind reading more about Phoebe and some of the others, because even the supporting characters hook you and once you start, you wont be able to put this book down. Def one of my fave NA Urban Fantasy Reads for 2016!

First- This is one of the most original ideas I have ever read. I absolutely LOVE this book!!!!! Gemini is the story of Zoe and Cade. Zoe has had a really tough life. Abused as a child and abandoned by the most important people to her during her childhood, she has built an almost impenetrable wall around her heart. The one place she lets her light shine is on stage while singing. Her band, The Eternals, is made up of her closest friends. We meet both Zoe and Cade on Zoe's 21st birthday in the club where she performs. When they meet she knows immediately he is her soul mate. Cade can feel she has been hurt in some way and realizes she needs to go slow while getting to know him so he can break through her wall and fall in love. This story is so fantastic I am trying not to give too much away! It is a story of Adam and Eve. Only here, in this time, they are called Zoe and Cade. It takes place in modern times and occasionally we see small glimpses in the past which helps to explain the story (the whys and what's going on things of the story). I really loved Cade. He was sweet, understanding, patient and kind. He had so much more patience than I ever could. Zoe was easy for me to like in the beginning. As the story went on it was harder and harder to really like her. She was funny, sweet, kind. She then turned way to self centered for me. As I kept reading I understood where she was coming from and I even started to agree with her views somewhat. The side characters were absolutely fantastic! I really hope to see more of them. Especially Micah, Julian and Phoebe. Most of the characters showed a bit of growth throughout the book. Zoe's transformation was the biggest. I really enjoyed seeing her go from selfish naive girl to a beautiful soul willing to put others before herself. I had many many questions while reading this book. I liked that the author adressed each one I had and explained it. I found my questions being answered as events unfolded. Zoe learned at the same time as me. I found the book easy to keep up with time wise. There was no skipping around. Nothing seemed rushed or unfinished even in the end. There was action, drama, danger, and falling in love with your soulmate. This book has everything I love! I have definitely found myself a new author to read!

Dylan Quinn offers a well-written and refreshingly new take on an age-old tale. Excitement, adventure, true love, Soul Mates, sacrifice, misunderstandings, battles, Demons, Angels.... Gemini has it all!

Millennia ago, The Tree of Souls was almost empty and at its lowest ebb placing all Humanity in jeopardy. In order to avoid this devastating outcome an Eternal Sacrifice by the original Gemini pair was required to refil it...... To be reincarnated with the female's memories of her past life and love hidden from her consciousness while her male counterpart watched, waited and hoped for her return to him of her own free will and recognise and renew their love as Gemini, as Soul Mates. For four incarnations the Sacrifice was made successfully. However, this time round the outcome is not so certain.

The fifth incarnation sees Zoe Adams having spent most of her life on the run from abuse and abandonment. She is finally on the brink of a successful music career and life as she knows it is finally looking up. The arrival of the mysterious and handsome Cade puts her world into a complete tailspin. She is inexplicably drawn to him and he is so very familiar although she's not sure why. In turn, Cade, with all his memories intact must bide his time and wait for Zoe to decide whether to embrace the Sacrifice, or turn her back on him and Humanity. Time is running out, and evil forces will do their all to prevent the Gemini reuniting. Will Zoe choose eternal love, or choose to forsake her mate and live the life she now has.....

I loved this story. The characters are well rounded, likeable (for the most part) and believable, especially Zoe, given the choices she must make...Although there were a couple of times I wanted to slap her :) . The back story is well researched and moves at an ever increasing pace, like a roller coaster slowly climbing to the top of the slope, before hurtling onwards in excitement and action.

A fabulous first book in the series. I can't wait to read the next instalment. Dont miss this one. It's a cracker!

Gemini, is an interesting take on myth and religion. Going in, I really didn't know what it was about. But I' am a Gemini, so of course I would want to read a book with my sign.

Zoe and Cade are destined to each other. Over lifetimes, over and over. Every reincarnation he is to find her and be united. Now, Zoe knows nothing about this. Who she was before. But little by little you learn that what's going on is a huge deal. Humanity is hanging in the balance! Yeah.. no pressure.

You can only imagine Zoe's reluctance, since she's had this idea of what she wanted her life to be and the freedom she desires. But it's all about sacrifices.

There's a lot, a lot of information being thrown at you in this story. It's not bad, but you had to really think about it. The writing was great. This is the first I've read of hers. So it kept my interest, into reading more.

There were some pretty intense moments. The sacrifices and the all over theme of the story, really held true.

Overall, this is a four star read for me. I didn't connect with the characters on a certain level. But the writing style and story I did enjoy....Lissa

Zoe gives up too much- But does end up with love

I actually have to disagree with many of the reviews on this site and while did love the story and both Zoe and Cade deserve each other's love.

Zoe was not selfish....basically even though she loves case she has no choice in the matter, if she doesn't continue to sacrifice everything for him the world ends.

Zoe starts out as a strong survivor, but ends up being less independent in the end. The record deal was not selfish and she just wanted to make sure it was going to work and her music can be a gift to everyone.

Zoe should not have to give up her music. In my mind she becomes more of a pushover and Cade a little too controlling for my taste.... They do love each other, but there is no reason for Zoe to give up her music and other aspirations....not only does she give it up but at the end she feels it is not right to even play music....that is wrong.

Love is about having your cake and eat it too... Love is about giving and Cade needed to give Zoe back her music.

I also really like phoebe in the beginning but she should fight for her love and not give up and then mystically everything is good again.

Enjoyable book. I liked the idea of falling in love with someone again and again, even if you don't realize it at first. This storyline reminded me a lot of the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, but it didn't follow all the same paths, so I was pleased with the newness of the story for me. I like to be reminded of other books I liked. I was a little worried that Zoe wouldn't realize Cade was AWESOME. I swooned, sorry, couldn't help myself. I am a huge fan of good over evil and tempting fate and all that goes with it. This book did not disappoint. There were some foggy parts for me while reading through, but they became clear skies as I continued on. So, if you find yourself scratching your head, don't worry.

I loved this brilliant do-over based on the story of Adam and Eve. Cade and Zoe's characters are amazing and with this well written story with action, intrigue, special gifts and more definitely a book/series to read. As Zoe learns her history and all about her previous sacrifice I love how she stands strong and demands answers instead of just folding and becoming a push over. I have to admit although the alpha Caden was kind of sexy I was disappointed when accepting love and lowering her walls hr character turned soft. Love and sacrifice do not make you weaker it should strengthen you. But as good as the story is I might just have to let that go. This one is worth it. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

I though this book was very entertaining. Dylan Quinn put a new twist on the story of Adam and Eve. I thought it worked really well, it was believable and unique.
Zoe and Cade are soulmates, they are Gemini. They are also the original Adam and Eve and their love is so beautiful and pure. In order to save humanity the original Eve makes the ultimate sacrafice. She leaves Adam to be reborn over and over. With each new life Zoe is with out memories if previous lives. Cade has to make his Zoe fall in love with him in every lifetime before she can regain her memories and continue her sacrafice. Gemini is beautiful tale of soulmates, sacrafice, good and evil.

I was hooked within the first few minutes of reading Gemini, and I don’t know how I am going to be able to make it until December to continue the series.

One thing I really loved is that Cade is not your typical alpha male. I am a little tired of reading the same old alpha male tale. I love that Zoe was strong and fought the relationship at first. I also found myself becoming attached to the supporting characters, and I can’t wait to see how their stories evolve along with Cade and Zoe’s.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. I found it hard to put down. Zoe and Cade falling in love (or more accurately Cade waiting for Zoe to fall in love with him). While at the same time they and all the immortals are fighting to save humanity, again! I am looking forward to continuing their story.

This is a strange one

This book creeped me out a little bit. Zoe's mother dies giving birth to her but she is then reincarnated in Zoe.
21 years later Zoe falls in love with her Mother's husband who isn't her Dad.... I know that technically they aren't kin but it's still weird and creepy.

A breathtaking, soulful read!

Twin souls. One sacrifice.
His love was worth dying for...
Will forgotten love be worth it?
Will Zoe remember everything?
The stakes are higher...
Danger is at every corner...waiting...

Such an original and breathtaking piece of work. I'm in awe right now - the author has some insanely talent for writing. It was such a pleasure reading this fine piece of work!

Utterly beautiful read! I'm speechless after reading this beauty of a book. Whoa! Such an inspiring, compelling, lovely and genius novel. Awe-inspiring!

Full of Genesis, angels, souls, soulmates, Gemini, love, memories, trust and family.

Perfect for readers of urban fantasy romance.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Zoe and Cade are the original Adam and Eve but with the Gemini Doctrine they are inevitably torn apart. This incarnation is different to the rest, nothing is going as planned. Every time it looks like Zoe is coming to terms with her fate something happens that gives her human side a chance to revolt against it. Maybe this time Fate has a different plan?

I really like Zoe's character it inhabits the indecision we all face at some point in our lives. When we set ourselves a course in life but things happen that make us choose another path. Even if we don't want it. Case is struggling with what he knows should happen and what he wants for Zoe again. Both exhibit selfish responses but sometimes it is the greater good hat has to win out.

I loved the angst and the drama in this book. It's a constant rollercoaster and keeps you engaged. For me the book didn't quite run as fluidly as I hoped but that really is a truly minor opinion. I am still hooked to the story, I love the concept and I will be reading the second straight away.

I need to know what comes next!

Want a sneak peak of Gemini?? Here's a little secret... Go to Gemini by Dylan Quinn on Amazon and click on the cover. The 'look inside' feature is enabled, allowing you to get hooked on the first few chapters ; ) Or click the preview button below the cover! ;)

Gemini is the first novel in my New Adult Urban Fantasy Romance series, The Eternal Sacrifice Saga. Not your typical NA steamy read, but a true coming of age story that shows the natural progression of Cade and Zoe's relationship. That said, there is plenty of romance and sexual tension between them, and the heat level WILL increase as their relationship evolves throughout the series... (wink wink)

I hope you enjoy their journey.

Zoe and Cade forever. Literally. They have loved each other since humans first existed. They are the current incarnation of Adam and Eve from Genesis of the old testament. In this life Zoe has a promising music career. She is reluctant to return to her eternity in paradise. Crazy, huh?
I enjoyed this story. It flowed well and had a good amount of excitement and action to keep the pages turning. One of my only complaints was the phrase” gripping her hips” that kept getting used to describe putting her hands on her hips. I'm unsure why that bothered me, but it did. Though that small thing was the only negative thing I have to say. I enjoyed everything else about it. I give Genesis 4 stars.

Gemini is a great new twist on the story of Adam and Eve. The development of Zoe and Cade’s romance is well paced with the right amount of sexual tension and intrigue starting at the beginning of the story to keep you wanting to know more about the eternal love of the “ultimate” eternal couple. The writing in the story is vivid and the characters are well thought out. In fact, I’d like to see some of the other couples/characters in the story get their own books. This is a must read for fans of romance and fantasy.
